What's the best way to figure out the formula? By doing raw damag calculations of course. This thread is for you to post your observed PKB damage on monsters with 0 def. Please state your Str, Dex, Lvl, Damage Range, W.Atk, PKB level, and weither your bow or xbow. This thread is ONLY for numbers, no talking will be done here, this is to keep everything organized. So basically, you go to green/blue snails, write all of your PKB damage down, than post it here so we can test damage formulas. This way, we will know when a damage formula works because it will always be correct. Here's a good template: Level: STR: DEX: W.Atk: Dmg Range: PKB level: Bow/xbow: List of Damages: The minimum amount of damages (for spam's sake) will be 25 per post, and try not to go over like 500 please. If neccessary, you can double or triple up damages like this: 452 . 975 . 211 : so it is easier to read. Again, this thread is for DAMAGES ONLY! We can only crack this mystery with your help. |

Level: 55 STR: 59 DEX: 252 W.Atk: 77 Damage Range: 422~743 PKB level: Level 7: MP -8; Knock-back +14%, damage 135%, knock-back 3 enemies Crossbow: Rower List of Damages (50 in total): 72 ~ 473 072 - 078 - 083 - 084 - 089 090 - 091 - 102 - 104 - 109 117 - 124 - 128 - 136 - 149 151 - 183 - 187 - 191 - 198 200 - 251 - 259 - 271 - 282 283 - 297 - 313 - 333 - 334 336 - 342 - 347 - 369 - 370 386 - 399 - 400 - 411 - 424 428 - 439 - 446 - 450 - 450 456 - 462 - 464 - 470 - 473 Mean: 271.2 Median: 282.5 Most: 450 Interesting Things I Noticed: 743 - 473 = 270 That's really close to the mean. This only applies if my absolute minimum damage for PKB is 72 I added my minimum range (4+2+2) and I got 8. 72 / 8 = 9 So, Minimum Range Numbers Added Together * 9 = Minimum PKB Damage At least for mine.... |

Level: 73 STR: 79 DEX: 328 W.Atk: 93 Dmg Range: 666 - 1171 PKB level: 20 Bow/xbow: Golden Crow Damages: 151 ~ 1105 This is ken's stuff. We didn't perform any real testing. We just got the damage range. That add minimum ranges stuff doesn't work with Ken's damages...so I guess that's ruled out. |

So basically I 'trained' for a whole 3% at Mushroom Forest in Zipangu. (I get like 5% an hour, no kidding, and these are level 1x monsters o_O) Only recorded the min and max damage I observed. Same stats as above: 63~426 With 19 DEX less than original: 58~394 With 8 ATK more than original: 70~467 |
