I noticed something. If you use Power Knockback on a Pixie, gets pushed back, casts magic while getting pushed back, it will stop getting pushed back and cast it's spell. Unless, my knockback didn't go far, but it usually goes to the end of the platform. When it cast's magic, it'd stop less than halfway. |

Yea, because you didn't flinch it during the kb, it can still use abilities, and when it goes to shoot, it stops... no matter which direction its going. If you flinch it, than kb it, than it wont respond and will go the full distance. *coughcough* before .37. |

I am having a tottally different view of PKB the more and more i play my Ranger. I don't know if its because of my own personal developed training methods or what but I am finding a maxed Pkb more and more neccesary for a 3rd jobber. My current use of Pkb which I have no idea if anyone else does this, is when I puppetize a squid and i need it to get to the other side of the platform. At the bottom I call it Puppet Herding. At the bottom when mass squid spawn, i just aggro them and then place puppet on the far corner. Squids move REALLY slow, so I just use PKB and whack them towards the puppet that they are already headed, PKB feels more realiable when you are KBing a monster that is not attacking you. Using puppet and PKb this way actually increases your training then if using puppet another way in those situations. So i will offically say for the first time that i like Pkb pretty well, my strafe button broke recently and i tried to replace Pkb's button with strafe and oddly i could not fuction at the same previous effeciency level at Squids without PKB. PKB could also be used in the same manner at DT's and possibly other places if soloing, in my book PKB is getting more valuable to me at least til Dragon Pulse. Its like a level 1 ArrowRain/ArrowErupt at fog, its not all that great but it makes your life more convient when training on that map. |

well, with power knockback, theres a chance you die... just a quick question. if you attack a monster, place puppet, attack it again, and place puppet again, who will it go after? |

there isn't a chance of dying, not if u do it my way. it will still go after puppet it won't even look at you, thats what i mean by herding, i pkb mobs closer to the puppet so I can use my mob skill to the maximum potential, which is my point puppetize monsters thier is no chance of dying unless puppet runs out, but u should kno the capabilities of puppet and that should not happen, I have NEVER as far as i know been hurt while pkbing this way and i have been doing this for 8 levels now, its optimal conveience is with 9 puppet, but i have been doing it with 6 puppet for 6 levels. |

i can post pics of the process since im traininng there tonight. on a side note Inferno is actually a VERY good kber and decent damager on gobies, and this is level 1, almost makes me wonder if inferno earler may be beneficial for a Ranger because i can see the potential for goby training at least. |

PKB is cool. I get 5% an hour using purely PKB and training at stuff half my level. Pwnage o_O But on what I actually train on, it's pretty much useless... |

lol i remember when you were still in your 5x *high 5x i think* i said how PKB was good and you claimed how you won't be using it in 3rd job... and i gave you that VERY example at squid's bottom floor ... after puppeting and pushing them over to 1 side because they move too slow... =b now you got past me ... and experienced it, and realize how useful it can be... xd but there are MANY other areas where it can be useful... but it's not useful in the sense like strafe or rain or puppet ... it's more in the sense, only when you need it, that its useful, even though it doesn't always happen, when you didn't have PKB, and came up to those situations, you can live without it sure... but with PKB, your life is SOOO MUCH easier but when it used to 100% flinch, it was even better. |

When the monster stops moving and does a different animation. http://global.hidden-street.net/monsters/mons1_001_ani.php Go there, scroll down, and look at the image below Hit. That's the flinch. |
