There's a question mark on Gfreak's min damage, because there's just something weird about a min of only 14 when the rest have pretty high mins. You sure you were testing on 0 def monsters? Soo. I just decided to put it all in 1 post because it's easier to make sense of that way. Anyone have a theoretical formula?

The Overlord Posts: 1,496 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: May 9, 2007	This makes life look way easier. We can start amking formulas like crazy, but I think it'll be best to wait for bowjabber. He will be the end-all to our formulas, basically telling us weither it is STR or DEX based. Although now, I think its dex based, and STR stabilizes it, which means bowjabber range is going to b like 26~28 =/ This is really good, I'm actually going to make this the sticky and just edit your post whenever we get more. EDIT: Added lvls to your post (they may have something to do with the ranges?), and used my OCD powers to fix it up (know a 2 letter abbreviation for PKB?)

ATK: 25 Bow dmg range: 36~56 PKB level: 1 (105%) Min: 19 Max: 29 Obsreved Mean: 24.29 Calculated Mean: 24 That's Bowjabber's results. Now, here's the problem. The damage is EXTREMELY stable, this leads me to believe that PKB is, infact, mostly dex based. Also, sap's strless with 6 more w atk did over 70 more max damage, further backing up my DEX theory. So for now, I think we should shoot for a DEX based calculation, with bowjabber here, I think we'll get it down soon enough.

The Overlord Posts: 1,496 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: May 9, 2007	Bleh, I just can't figure out a range. For max, (1.7dex+.5str)/100atkpkb but min, the only thing that really works is 7% mastery, it fits bowjabber well, but strless not so well.
