I know, it makes it so confusing.

The HP bars work better with melee attacks than long-range.

That's because at melee as soonas you press a button the bar will show up because the monster takes damage. With long range you've got that lag time for the arrow in the air.

Instant attacks like magic claw work fine.

No no, the HP bar is there.

It just updates before you see the arrow hit, which is confusing.

Just as you get the exp before you actually hit the monster >_>

Which is kinda odd.

So...on topic, applying that to your situation...yeah, it's not because xbows are slower.

Well, that was less confusing. I don't really pay attention to the bottom right hand section of the screen >.> I pay more attention to the monsters I'm killing.

I guess that's because once the arrow is in the air on our screen, the server has already decided that we've killed it?

sureshot stated that they used simultaneous computers or some crap that registers everything at the same time.

He had 2 computers next to each other.

I let him use my account.

Well, when he stated "when we both fired at the same time" I inferred that it meant when it looked like they were firing at the same time on the screen, but if they were actually right next to each other and saw each other press the attack button at the same time, it would be different. Then it would be a whose-attack-command-gets-to-the-server-first kind of thing. Xbow speed still has nothing to do with it. If you notice with Bowmen, Xbowmen, Sins, and even mages, you get the experience the minute you hit the attack button, not after the projectile hits. Xbowspeed is slower because there's a longer in-between time before each shot; there is not really a loading before-shot time. You can also see this effect with HP bars. The HP bar decreases the minute you press attack, so it's really annoying since it counfuses you on how much hp the monster actually has left. Try attacking long range and look at the HP bar.

If you didn't read my computers are right next to each other. Like I mean I saw both screens same time. HP bar is very unreliable. A monster had bout 100 the bar went completely black like I ohko'd it.
