After reverse-engineering the FA speeds in Sybaris's calculator, I've come to the conclusion that they're bullshit. I need FA Speeds for Bows and Crossbows, Normal & Fast, With & Without booster. The results I got were... Bow Normal Booster 124spm Bow Normal 103spm Bow Fast Booster 122 spm Bow Fast 72spm Crossbow Normal Booster 115spm Crossbow Normal 98spm Crossbow Fast Booster 124spm Crossbow Fast 101spm Now, obviously, I have a problem with the Bow's speeds. The problem lies in the values that Sybaris has in the presets. Normal: 74SPM, 31FAPM Fast: 80SPM, 32FAPM Now, how can the bow's normal shooting speed increase to 80SPM, by six, when its FA only increases by 1? The fact that you're shooting more per minute means there's a higher chance of FA to activate, and FA would shoot even faster now, yet its slowed down to a snail's pace of 72spm. Discuss. |

FA is % based... so it needs to increase by 1/60% shots to increase FA by 1... but the 6:1 increase is kinda low |

You sure? FA speeds can be counted a lot of different ways. Personally, the only way I would record them is the time in milliseconds of an attack+FA, and not any sort of attacks per minute figure, as that's really the only accurate way that'll transfer well between speeds. And I just pulled up Syb's calculator and got faster speeds with a fast bow, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Then again, I'm using a slightly outdated version. |

Maybe I should get a newer version...? I'll check the numbers later when I do, but I'd still prefer if anyone of you had values to share. |

I just remembered that I mess around with the firing speeds on occasion when I believe I have more accurate figures. I haven't edited the file since March 12, apparently, but I have Attack speeds: Normal 76/72 Fast 82/78 Normal + Booster 86/82 Fast + Booster 92/88 FA speeds: Normal 0.5/0.7 Booster 0.4/0.6 Not sure why there aren't any 'Fast' entries for FA, seeing as I've observed that FA is affected by weapon speed. |

Here's the outdated speeds I used for the FAQ: Double Shot + Final Attack takes 1.12 seconds to fire. In one minute, Double Shot fires 63 times and Final Attack fires 38 times, or 101 times for both of them together, on average. If Final Attack fired every single time after Double Shot, we’d get 54 Double Shots and 53 Final Attacks. Double Shot and Strafe both take about .68 seconds to fire, making it 88 shots per minute. |
