The Overlord Posts: 1,496 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: May 9, 2007	Kev redid the tests for accuracy, I am only analyzing normal bow, booster and strafe (not that it matters), and normal xbow booster and strafe. Here are my results using various methods (both are 30 seconds clips): Arrows shot in 30 seconds: bow-40 xbow-42 Frame by frame analysis: I'm really not trusting this one, with strafe its difficult to measure one attack to the next bow- .73~.74 (82~81 spm) xbow- .73~.74 (82~81 spm) Audio Peak to Peak analysis: Bow - .76 (79 spm) Xbow - .72 (82 spm http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/7668/bowpeakni4.png - picture http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/7104/xbowpeakep0.png - pciture Beats per second interpreter analysis (different program then peak to peak) Bow - Xbow - From my peak to peak analysis, it shows a clear indication of them starting very similar, only to have the xbow go faster O_o http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/9253/bowxbowchartwe5.png - picture You can clearly see that the xbow has a full shot over the bow in that 30 second clip I am 100% positive that I did not mix up the tracks (as the xbow has a distinctive "poot" sound after it, while the bow is a "feew") All the tests but the frame-by-frame agree, xbow speed is 82 spm (as always), while bow speed is now apparently 80 spm. WTF! Gentlemen, we are now officially in bizarre-o world. I don't know whether to make heads or tails over this, should we redo math, why would nexon do this, did they feel BM was more powerful then MM? Attention Basilers: After numerous tries, it has been discovered and proven in many different ways that, while holding down the attack key, Crossbow users shoot more times per minute than Bow users. That is all.
