➷`♘ BIOGRAPHY xOn the first day of May, a pair of healthy baby twin boys were born to a newly married couple, surprised at their quick pregnancy. Owners of a large grocery chain, they already had full lives to handle. Of course, they were not unhappy about it, but they hadn't gotten around to making plans yet, they hadn't even gotten that pet dog they wanted. But the twins came anyway, and their parents had to make do. Oliver and his twin brother, Nate, were together constantly, and forged a strong bond as so many twins do. They were literally the definition of double trouble, since they were both fairly active children, although Oliver was the clear leader. Their mother was always having to chase after them, and as they grew, she began to ask more of her husband. But he was always busy with work, and wanted to crash when he got home. Things between them began to grow rocky, perhaps they hadn't been meant to raise children together. They hadn't even thought of having kids yet, but the pregnancy had come anyway, not to be blamed on anyone but themselves. Still, they kept it together, "for the children".

Even if Oliver and Nate noticed tension between their parents, they had each other. The brothers were quite dependent on one another, even so much that as elementary students the teachers decided to place them in different classes, to help them make more friends. Oliver took quite well to this, and found himself liking the attention from his classmates since they would compete with him and found all his jokes and antics to be so hilarious, as after so long his twin had grown used to them and learned not to take on Oliver in a challenge. Nate, on the other hand, did not take to being without his steady wingman, and faltered in making friends. It never seemed to get any better as he aged, in fact, it only worsened. He would find himself feeling so envious of Oliver, feeling dejected for being left behind, and angry that his twin was able to be so happy without him. Nate spiraled downwards, and in the Wood family feelings and troubles never were a really open topic. Oliver had learned to smooth things over with his laughter, but Nate was too sensitive for that. Because there was no one to reassure him, Nate began to think of himself as useless, wondering why he had been born to be so inferior to his own twin. The warning signs were there, but his parents never made the right moves to help him, and in the summer before eighth grade, Nate took his own life.

Words could not describe how it devoured at Oliver's heart. The brother left behind fell into a deep depression. His mother and father could not console him, as they were too busy feeling responsible and heartbroken as well. Neither has yet been able to recover from the loss of their son, and Oliver's mother became obsessed with helping other children from committing suicide. In her desperate attempt to push away her own depression, she did not give her remaining son enough attention, and it took a month for her to notice Oliver had been contemplating following his twin. At school, he would put on his front of jokes and laughter, comedy was his way to distract himself. But still, it wasn't enough, and he repeated what he was sure Nate had been doing, unnoticed by his own brother: cutting. When they discovered the wounds, they became frantic, and hired therapists left and right, getting them to prescribe the teen antidepressants. But even when he showed signs of improvement, the two stricken parents could not stop going at one another's throats. In their anger and hurt, they pointed fingers and spoke horrible words they did not meant to one another. Oliver wasn't able to take it, and would constantly yell at his parents to quite their bickering. He wouldn't kill himself if it meant his parents would be so devastated and continue to fight so mercilessly with one another. During eighth grade, he told them that he wanted to attended the boarding school Aurora Academy, saying he needed a change of scenery to help let Nate go. They assumed it for the best, and although frightened, allowed their son to leave their home for a boarding school 1,000 miles away.

In Aurora, Oliver didn't expect to be able to make any progress. But by meeting people that wouldn't feel obligated to pity him on sight, that didn't know his family, he was able to create a new life for himself in some ways. These people were interesting, and had rough pasts like himself, and the constant classes and events were there to occupy him. The dull ache was and still is there, and he is still secretly seeing a therapist every few months, as well as filling his prescription.

NothingxxtoxxCHANGExxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx➷`♕ PERSONALITY
Charming ■ ■ xxHe has a smile that could very well rival the sun, and is able to smile brightly even if he is feeling nothing but miserable. He uses his charm and looks to make others comfortable and to ease situations. His distinctive charm allows him to get away with much more than he ought to be able to, making if difficult for the teachers to punish him after his latest antic, as well as to make him an adorable flirt. Girls find him funny but not at all dangerous, and are somehow happily seduced by it. He's the kind of guy that people just gravitate to, even if he does crazy things. He can befriend almost anyone, and on extremely rare occasions, he has even gotten a smile out of her.

Comedic ■ ■ xxThis young man has perfected the art of humor and his timing has certainly nothing to be desired. He is generally viewed as the guy that is never able to be serious, and unless you truly know him you won't see the side that isn't full of jokes. To Oliver, laughter is the best disguise, against others and his own feelings. He won't hesitate to joke about other's or himself, and is considered to be a jerk at times. He is known for doing all sorts of unusual and random things like coming to class in roller skates, or perhaps going barefoot for a day; there is no guessing to what he might try to pull off.

Open Minded ■ ■xxInappropriate and politically incorrect jokes may surface from his mouth, but Oliver is never one to judge. He assumes that like himself, there is something in everyone that effects them greatly, and that they can't bring to share with others. He knows that there are infinite walks to life and that every person goes about living in a different manner, as he needed to separate from his parents he understands that you can't be what is always expected of you. He is accepting to just about anyone, so long as you do not cause intentional harm to his friends.

Social ■ ■ xxOliver constantly surrounds himself with people, especially those that are entertained by him. Making others laugh somehow seems to sooth a need for happiness in himself, he lives vicariously through their cheer. He likes to have fun with groups, saving one on one time for only them. He will hang out and talk to anyone, no matter if they are part of his circle or not.

Perceptive ■ ■ xxOliver is intelligent, very intelligent. He would be a much better student if he applied himself more, but he has little patience for things outside of language class in which you can not display your own originality. But his smarts are not only for the books, he is also very good at reading people. He is able to know what to say to make them laugh, or to piss them off. He is able sense others like himself who carry a heavy weight, and knows not to try and push certain topics.

xxxxxxxHe loves accessories, and has sizable collections of hats, shoes, and glasses from the trendy, to the comical, to just plain weird.
xxxxxxxAlways messes with his style, or rather he doesn't have a distinctive one unless you can call his eclectic/sporadic assortment a style. He will dress almost as though he were a character for the day, i.e. a nerd, a beach bum, a jock, and even managed to once put together the outfit of a nazi (not something the school appreciated, but he happened to find their style quite good).
xxxxxxx He actually keeps a sort of journal, or rather, he has files on his computer that are his thoughts, feelings, stories, whatever for that day. Many of them are quite dark, and the idea was a suggestion from one of his therapists to vent his issues. He would never purposely show these files to anyone.
xxxxxxxSings in the shower - always
xxxxxxxLoves to mess with people by acting more familiar then he ought to with members of his own sex. He's even gone so far as practically making out with another guy - hey, the ladies find it funny and are somehow turned on by it at times.

Stephanie Wood x Oliver's relations with either of his parents are strained at best, but he holds little hatred or anger towards them, and feels more pity and apathy towards his mother especially. The death of his brother clearly ripped apart any semblance of happiness she had, and he can see that she blames herself for it. Although things have gotten better for her and she has started a non profit organization to help struggling teens, her own son and her have little communication. She used to try to push him to speak with her, but Oliver resisted, which she took as personal injury. He still goes home for the holidays, but it always feels like formalities, and they never get into difficult topics without making it into an argument as both he and his mother are very verbal people.
Adrian Wood xOliver isn't quite sure where he stands with his father. The two of them have talked considerably about some of their issues during family therapy, as often Stephanie would back out so it would be the two males. The two interact awkwardly together, and keep things light between them. Oliver has promised his father to no longer try and step between his parent's arguments, they made it this far so there must be some hope for them. Although Oliver can't ever see them being quite happy together, he could certainly never see them being happy apart. Adrian is a quieter and soft hearted man who usually gives into his wife's wishes, something Oliver does not like to see since he finds that his mother is often in the wrong.
Nathaniel Wood xDeceased. Even if his brother is gone, Oliver still finds himself unable to come to terms with Nate's death. He still finds trouble understanding why Nate took his life, but can not hate him for it since he almost came to following him. When his twin died, Oliver distinctly felt as though a part of his own soul went with him, and try as he might he is not able to get it back. There was a period of time in which he would be unable to sleep for days on end, and Nate's voice and image would ring clearly in his head. At that time, Oliver could not bring himself to look in any reflective surface, since the image he saw was not his own, but his identical twin's, Nate's.

`•.¸¸.☆ The Royalties Ah, friends. Oliver is very thankful for having them around, but there's always the problem that the closer he gets to them the more they would want to know. He's told them that his younger brother died, but has never touched on the fact that it still bothers him so much. The the most shameful parts he keeps secret: that he still has to meet with a psychiatrist, and that his comical disposition is kept together with the help of meds.
`•.¸¸.☆ The Outsiders Since Oliver enjoys giving anyone a laugh, he has no reason to dislike this group that some consider inferior to them. Oliver will mix with either group with ease, and knows them on a first name basis.
`•.¸¸.☆ Annabelle Roselyn DuBois A bit frustrating but entertaining to Oliver, Anna is a rare individual to him. Because she has the ability to glare at him even after his most successful jokes, Oliver has taken the challenge upon himself to get this ice princess to smile - for real. It unsettles him that her outward appearance so reflects how he feels on the inside: cold unfeeling.
`•.¸¸.☆ Everett Terence Fraser There's something that he can't quite put his finger on, but Oliver is sure that Everett isn't being entirely sincere. Of course, he can't comment much on that because he holds his own secrets, and so doesn't hold any feelings against the guy. He hangs around Anna a lot, and it somehow irks him that she smiles for her cousin, but is especially cold towards himself. There has also been a small feeling of unsettlement from Everett that has begun to grow, and Oliver is beginning to think its animosity.
`•.¸¸.☆ Nathanial Tristan Worchester The ruling male of Aurora, he was the one person that Oliver couldn't bring himself to warm up to upon meeting. At first, he made sure to keep his distance from the guy with the same name as his brother who's memory continually hauntd him. But during their sophomore year, they roomed together, and Oliver found himself slowly becoming friends with the guy. They had a lot of similar interests, and Oliver respected the person she calls "King" (since in Oilver's mind she is the top dog). It didn't take long for them to become friends, both enjoying parties and charming women over. Their act worked wonders, the infinitely cool king and the adorable jester, not a better duo to be found. There is still one hiccup though, which Oliver has countered by using his middle name.
`•.¸¸.☆ Aria Marie Sinclair Like the older sister (even if they are the same age) he never had. She is devious, bitchy, and assertive, and he loves her for it. At times he finds her intimidating, and instinctively knows not to try and flirt with her, no matter how drunk he is. But that doesn't mean he won't joke with or tease her. He's the one that first started calling her Riri - much to her dislike at first - but he knew she liked the attention.
`•.¸¸.☆ HerIf the party is on campus and isn't in her room, then its probably in Oliver's. They both like partying about as much as anyone could should, and easily became friends. Much like they are accomplices, it is close to the same for Oliver and her. Being the people they are, its rather inevitable that they would hook up, but romantic feelings beyond simple lust never developed between them, so when she got herself a boyfriend Oliver was happy to wish her well.
`•.¸¸.☆ Elijah Finn Allison There are only a few people that Oliver likes to mess with more than Anna, but unluckily for Eli - nicknamed Ali or Allison - he is one of them. Of course, its all in fun, but the guy's reactions are just too good to pass up. Oliver likes to see such a gentleman become flustered, and finds resisting temptation of teasing him rather difficult. When Oliver is drunk, he has a tendency to use poor Elijah as a tool for a laugh from the ladies, since he tends to blush so furiously after getting a sloppy kiss.
`•.¸¸.☆ Him To Oliver, he always seemed a nice guy, and had plenty of good times together. When they started going out, Oliver was glad for the both of them. But without a word, he left Aurora. At first, Oliver wanted to hate him for hurting his good friend, but when he came back, the jokester couldn't bring himself to feel any such emotion. Oliver is both extremely interested but afraid to ask him just what happened, since he may find another very broken inside, like himself.
`•.¸¸.☆ Priscilla Sun Yoon Honestly, Oliver isn't sure exactly how he feels about Cilla. He knows she tries so hard in everything she does, but somehow he feels bad for her, even if she appears so well put together. He doesn't have too much heart to tease her, not when she takes any faults so seriously. Instead, he'd rather try to get her to loosen up a bit, not be so driven all the time.
`•.¸¸.☆ Him
`•.¸¸.☆ Kyrielle Evans Hale Oliver has to at least check in with the guidance counselor on a monthly basis outside of his other meetings. His parents wanted the school to check in on him. He doesn't tell her more than he needs to so that his parents won't be bothered. Its frightening that she is able to witness him everyday, laughing with his friends, but knowing full well that he's clinically depressed.
