Three weeks ago a Royal Navy ship holding Jack Sparrow returned him to Port Royal to await punishment.

Fifteen days ago, with the aid of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, he escaped.

One week ago, he returned to the Isla de la Muerta to find that the cursed Aztec Gold was gone...

But to where? And to what end?

After the end of Curse of the Black Pearl, Jack Sparrow returned to the Isla de la Muerta, intent on taking a rather sizable fortune of stashed gold and treasure. When he returned though, roughly half the treasure was missing, and what was left were the pieces there were of less value than what had been taken. And it wasn't the only thing missing. Also gone, was the lone chest that used to reside in the center of the island, the chest containing the cursed gold of Cortez.

Around the same time, rumours started, ones of vessels from all nationalities and purposes. French privateers, Dutch merchants, Spanish Galleons, military and civilian. Missing ships though, are not that unusual. But the stories that survivors were telling were.

They spoke of black coated demons piloting an old Royal Navy vessel with tattered sails, the flesh stripped its crew's faces and their bleached bones glowing in the moonlight. They told of how no bayonet or shot could fell the demons, of how they had fought with swift military precision, taking down each crew with quick, efficient strikes. And most curiously, for any who were spared and let free, it was not any gold or cargo that would normally be seized that had the demons' attentions. They were more interested in any letters or correspondences on board, as well as taking the highest ranking survivor as a prisoner who would not be seen again.

Who are these people? The ones who so clearly under the curse of the Aztec Gods? They attack no British vessels, in fact even have been seen coming to their aid, helping to turn the tides of battle, only to disappear as swiftly as they arrived. More stories have come from former pirates, whose vessels were attacked by them, and some even claim they were told by the demons themselves that eliminating piracy was their top priority.

The evidence points to only one conclusion. They are British, they are military, and they have taken the Aztec Gold in order to have immortal soldiers serving king and country.

Who, now, dares to stand up to challenge them?
