Delegation of Great Finnish Reich arrives in to Davidor. As they eject from their private jet, you can see them donned in to military-like uniforms, wearing visibly their country's ruling party's logo as armband on their right sleeves and greeting the welcome representatives with Roman salute. Delegate seems not to be very talkative as they move out to their VIP room to wait for summit to begin. |

Buraydah, Darjistan - King Dizhwar's motorcade sped off and out of view from the visibly contented moderately-sized crowd that gathered in Da'wah Square to hear his first public speech since his ascent to the throne last week. It's been a quiet week politically in Darjistan, as the new King looks to transition from his predecessor King Fahad Ali's governmental structure. An almost complete dissolution of the former government has taken place with the appointment(s) of an advisory Council of Three; next on the docket are the appointments of the regional judges, and the new changes to the Darji Judiciary system. Today's speech came when most had already returned to work after lunch, which is the reason for the crowds' modest size. King Dizhwar reaffirmed in his speech today that his primary agenda would be to maintain a strong economy, protect the borders of Darjistan from any threats foreign and domestic, and to establish a government that would suit the people as best it could. It was anyone's guess to what that meant exactly. However, the main point of today's speech was to explain that he would be temporarily stepping outside the country today. "I have received an invitation from Byronmandy to attend a diplomatic summit. In order to protect our great nation, we must establish relations with the world around us. King Fahad is no longer in power, obviously, so I will be travelling around in the coming weeks to establish our place in Baradoz." he went on "Jawad Al-Enezi will accompany me as the newly appointed State representative from the Council of Three. He will, in the future, be our representative to countries abroad. In the meantime, I entrust our Defense Minister Abzari Chakroun to take care of matters urgent within the country. Mullah Imaad Udeen will be touring the 5 Provinces offering religious services at various mosques and universities. Thank you, and Barakallah Feek." The motorcade drove to Buraydah International Airport where the King boarded Darji One and flew to Davidor, the city where the summit is to take place. King Dizhwar and Minister of State Jawad Al-Enezi were greeted after disembarking the aircraft by the Byromandy Secretary of State Samuel Adair. Firm handshakes and pleasantries exhanged, both The Darji King and his State Minister were feeling hungry, and tired. However, they still voiced their enthusiasm for the summit ahead, and thanked the nation of Byronmandy for the invitation. |

(OOC: I’m just going to proceed with you two nations, and if anybody else wishes to join us they can) IC: It was around noon time before all of the respective nations’ representatives were seated at a rather small, but old round table, situated in the middle of a very large room. They were on the fifth floor of the cabinet’s mansion, which housed all of the secretary of state’s offices. The room had an old, turn of the century feel to it, with massive book shelves and an overly large globe sitting not far from the round table. Samuel Adair, secretary of state for the Republic of Byronmandy sat at one place at the table, flanked on one side by his young and hawkish undersecretary (who seemed to be having a rather unpleasant day) and on the other side by Constantine Allard, the secretary of commerce for Byronmandy. Toward the other side of the table sat the diplomats from the Great Finnish Reich and the King of Darjistan. The under secretary of state looked toward secretary Adair and whispered something. Samuel Adair nodded his head. Meanwhile, Mr. Allard the commerce secretary was sitting, seemingly unaware of what was going on next to him. He was too busy fiddling with his massive gold watch and talking with King Dizhwar about his fancy car. Samuel Adair decided that he would speak first to break the growingly awkward moment. “Gentlemen, it is an honor to be sitting with you here today….However you must first know that this is a strange situation for our Republic. We sent out invitations to four nations. Two to democracies and two to dictatorships, and to our surprise, the dictatorships were the only ones that came. We had hoped that with the varying government types coming together, it would mean that we might be able to get some work done. But now I’m not really sure what we can do.” The secretary paused for a moment, trying to ignore secretary Allard’s obvious disgust, before continuing. “Byronmandy is a strongly democratic nation, and as you can tell by our national motto, we have had some rather unpleasant confrontations with dictators throughout our history. But still, I am certain we can find something to work over that will ignore our obvious differences.” “Both of your nations are in a prime location relative to Byronmandy. Finland is right close to our protectorate, Denmark-Norway, and a trading agreement between our nations would result in a magnificent outcome throughout the Baltic. Byronmandy has the second largest GDP and GDP per capita in the region, and our ever growing capitalist economy is eager to access any new trading deals it can.” “A trade agreement between Byronmandy and Darjistan can have great results also,” he said, this time looking at the King, “ We are aware that Darjistan has access to more oil than any other nation in the region, and we are prepared to enter into an agreement with your nation so that we may be your best customer. In other words, if you are prepared to allow for Byronmadian businesses to have access to your oil, it would create such an economic boom in your nation, Buraydah will become the new Dubai. These economic agreements can mean great things for all of us, and I am prepared to begin work on paper if any of you are interested.” He stopped and waited for his responses. |

"It is my great pleasure to be granted audience here today. Let me just start by saying that I am quite taken with the countryside of Byronmandy, and your architecture here in Davidor. It does seem rather surprising that the Democratic invitees have taken absence from this summit. I hope this will indicate to some level the dedication Darjistan, and I'm sure The Great Finnish Reich also has in being an active participant in the region - despite our political ideologies. While it is true, I am dictatorial in the methods of running my Kingdom; I am a proponent of civil rights. Admittedly, too liberal for my religion; however, I have a vision that I believe will make Darjistan greater than it has ever been in its history. I realize that for a nation to flourish, a certain flexibility is necessary in the realm of civil liberties. I am willing to make concessions here and there for the greater good. Just for now, allowing political opposition would greatly deter progress" The King went on, "We have been blessed with probably the greatest oil supply in this region, it attributes for 90% of our available exports. Obviously, the more we sell, will in turn, boost our economy. This is vital to some of the items on my agenda, which include construction of stadiums able to host Olympic games, magnificent palatial theaters to emphasize Darji culture in the arts, and an elaborate, and efficient public transportation system. We are very much open for business, and look forward to hearing any ideas you may have, or seeing a proposal if you so have one drafted. Also, you wouldn't happen to have any tea would you? I haven't had a cup since breakfast, I'm starting to experience withdrawals." |

The Head of the Great Finnish Reich's delegation starts up with following statement: "We in Great Finnish Reich would be ready to start trade agreement with Darjistan for to ship oil to our country as we do not produce any here in the North. We have great reserves and very powerful lumber production here, as 70% of our soil is growing forest. Anyhow, we are ready to negotiate any other diplomatic pacts, so have your proposition." |

"Would GFR, and ROB be interested perhaps, in a multilateral trade agreement? Or separate bilateral agreements? What are your thoughts? Darjistan could stand to benefit from a deal incorporating Byronmandian textiles, and certainly from Finnish lumber, as trees in our region are fairly scarce. If the leaders of these two nations share an interest between them, we may be able to agree to something multilateral. However, Darjistan is still very much open for separate agreements." |

"I think that a multilateral agreement would be good. It would bring all of us economically closer, where we could all benefit each other. Byronmandy may not need Finnish timber as much as we need Darji oil, but we are more than welcome to sign such an accord. My aides here have completed a draft for you to look at."

"We [Darjistan] are happy to accept this proposal, and will sign as quickly as all parties agree to it." |
