Actually, I've been trying to compile everything together and go over all of what we've established, but I believe that we've gone too far with the militia bonuses and such. Your original plan will work great, and instead of doubling all RMS’s below 100,000, I think that we should double all less than (and including) 75,000 only, and multiply all of those between 75,000 and 100,000 by 1.5. This would practically eliminate Celatoria’s concerns while keeping it basic and easy. For example, someone with an RMS of 50,000 would now be 100,000 because we still are doubling that. However a person with 80,000 would be 120,000 instead of 160,000 if it was doubled. This should work fine. Also, the whole idea of militia divisions and a militia bonus like you have proposed, Veomo, will not be necessary. What I have just said creates a curve that is more user friendly and eliminates stuff that makes it overcomplicated. You also proposed that these numbers change during wartime. This also is not needed. A nation will have a set amount of troops at it’s disposal based on the RMS numbers that change every month. Increases and other changes, other than the regular update will make it too complicated. You mentioned that each division should have “veteran marks”. This isn’t a bad idea, and can be utilized if we do it right. On all of my military maps that I will make, each division/fleet/air strip will be given a number. In RP’s, that is how the maps are mainly used. A nation could say that they have moved Division 5 to the west coast or whatever. This is how everyone keeps track of a unit’s movement. From the RP’s we can tell whether or not a unit has seen combat based on how it‘s nation has moved it, and if it has, I’ll be sure to mark it on the respective map. The curve that I have proposed should work fine, and here is the new stats to show it- (Right now this only affected San Lumen, but when we get more nations that reach the 75,000 mark, the curve will be more obvious)-

I know that we still haven't addressed exactly how many troops each smaller nation gets, but I went ahead and made a sample military map of my nation anyway to show everybody what these would look like. I'm not sure if this is exactly how I will have all my troops stationed, but this really does show what these maps are meant to show. Since we haven't yet figured out the curve, I can't make all of the maps yet, but I can begin making them for the Ixzaran Republic, MVN, and Celatoria though. If any of the nations that I just listed would like for me to make their maps, just say so below. Make sure to include how many of your divisions you would like in each branch of your military, and where you would like them put inside your territory. The only way you can have troops outside of your borders is if you have a base set up with another nation. If you do, be sure to say how many divisions of which branch are in what place in what country. ![]() *note*- Nations with protectorates and/or colonies are responsible for stationing troops there to protect their claims. In other words, you are responsible for the protection of your protectorates. Edited by Byronmandy, Jun 20 2011, 06:38 PM.

You're right Byro, its simpler your way.. I'll be fixing the formula during the week so by thursday I'll have it all done (more or less.. at most at sunday depends on how life treats me :P) if everyone agrees I believe we can begin with the stats Byro already calculated! BTW loved the maps... |
