Message to all royal houses from the Kaiser Palace in Belisaere, Cirsinus

Monarchs Association

Emperor Wilhelm Augustus XII of The Federal Empire of Cirsinus proposes to the region the creation of an organisation to help promote and protect the monarchy system of government.
The Monarchs Association will be a free none political organisation open to any member state with a monarchy form of government.
The role of the Monarchs Association is to provide a forum for national monarchs to discuss issues of common concern, and where appropriate to agree co-ordinated resolutions. Though these resolutions will be none political, and purely voluntary in nature, and must be agreed upon with the different levels of power each monarch enjoys in mind.

These resolutions can range from, but at this moment have not been fully defined:

*The best way to protect the monarchy form of government
*The role of monarchy in the 21st century
*The maintenance and promotion of relationships between royal houses
*Co-ordination of civil projects, such as charities, for the betterment of all people
*The organization of social projects to promote international co-operation and understanding, such as cultural exchanges, student placements, cross boarder events etc.

The Monarchs Association will be free and voluntary and as such will not enact any binding resolutions. Its power will rest with the moral authority which follows in the wake of the regions monarchs.
The Monarchs Association will not have a permanent staff and it will not have any departmental organs like other more formal organisations. The Monarchs Association will effectively be a voluntary ‘think tank’ for issues effecting monarchies and how best to utilise the vast experience of a crowned head of state for the betterment of all.

If any royal house feels that this may be an interesting/worthwhile endeavour post your approval on this forum. Once we have a few names on the list I’ll draft a proper full charter for approval.

All the major monarchs of the region are meeting in vienna in about a week to discuss the creation of a monarchs organization. Why doesn't circinus attend as well? We can debate the creation of this think tank there with all other monarchs present. (Ooc sorry replying on my phone at work so it prob looks terrible.)

(OOC no problems lol)

The purpose of the Monarchs Association is to offer a friendly forum to discuss matters concerning monarchs across the political spectrum. Regardless of what ‘official’ political or military alliances their nations may belong to.

The monarch organisation you are in the process of founding seems to be more formal and binding, involving executive level of government involvement, I quote:

“An alliance be formed. An intergovernmental organization that will, at its most basic function initially, call for a collective defense, and security of its member states. Also cultural, and economic prospects as well. A coalition of Monarchies preferably, but also Dictatorships, who stand together for the common bond they share in how they govern their people.”

The Monarchs Association is not an alliance, its a platform for discussion to best promote all monarchies, not just those who’s governments share a particular political/military ideal. And the association is not intended to interfere in the workings of any nation, such as defence.

Added ot this the Monarchs Association would not be open to Dictatorships, only countries with a monarchy form of government.

As the Monarchs Association is none binding and does not affiliate itself with any particular political ideal, the royal house of Cirsinus hopes it can count on the support of the MCV monarchy.

OOC: Ya didn't get the whole point across sorry.... It's difficult on my phone ugghh.. Basically what I was trying to get across is why doesn't Circinus send a representative to the meeting in Vienna and sit in or participate if the Empire so chooses. Also since all the major monarchs will be in one spot it would be a good place to doubly work on the Monarchs association as well either before or after the alliance is formed. I am assuming this will be pretty much exactly what the MMC was in the med??

IC: Certainly the House of Ptolemy will support this Monarchs Association fully.

OOC: Hi MVN. Your right the Monarchs Association will be like the old MMC.

As the Monarchs Association is a non formal co-operation, I think it would be best that it and the Monarch Organisation, a full political/military alliance, stand apart.

As we've got a good few royal houses signed up I'll start the draft charter
