We may have a lead on who is circulation weapons on the black market network, however there is one thing we need to confirm. We request several vehicle parts for inspection. We suspect that the weapons were manufactured in the Empire and need to inspect these parts to confirm that suspicion.

Some of the parts shall be delivered as soon as a drop point is established. I will personally escort the cargo for it's safe journey to the Empire.

Meanwhile at the Ukrainian borders with the Provinces, the first crates were being crossed over the Dnieper. The Spec Ops observed everything. In the darkness of the night it all ended, as the Spec Ops surrounded the smugglers on this side of the river, on the other side the remaining smugglers ran directly into the Provinces' hands. The cargo was a big one, including mostly military heavy weaponry and tanks parts. But there was also a barrel that was the one thing that worried the Spec Ops the most, it was a rusty barrel with the radioactive waste sign in it. A NBC unit was immediately called while a perimeter was established, and a warning was made to the Provinces, that their share of the cargo could have some barrels also.

Captain Hyakawa and Lieutenant Sievert were combing though the remains of the Northern Outpost searching for any nuclear materials when Hyakawa spoke up. "Not trying to sound like a dick or anything, but since that dump site was top secret has anyone bothered to take a inventory of all those barrels?"

"Not that I know of, and that's bothering me too. Probably a good idea that we get some people to do an inventory and number the barrels."

Far to the south in Ukraine, the worries of the two NBC warfare unit commanders was revealed to be justified.

A routine inspection of sources of ionising radiation at the radiology department at the general hospital at Thessalonica led a team of experts to the harbour. "Wait... this is ... gamma radiation! Could it have been in the cargo?! I'm going back to central for my friggin' NBC suit!"

Later in the day, a trail of radiation was discovered on the rails going strait through all of Neoplanta to the border with San Lumen. Soon it was discovered through communication with other nations that the cargo was discovered to be weapons and tanks and the nuclear waste from Nova Zembla.

"I want increased security on all ports and border crossings, and a Geiger counted for every station! And I want a deep and thorough investigation of whoever might have brought that filth into Neoplanta! Oh rats, can it get any worse than this? Smuggling nuclear waste, are they now, the bastards!" - yelled his orders Ion Tepescu, Minister of Police.

Following the increasing tension in the Piracy War and its uncomfortable creep deeper into the heart of Europe and now with its apparition in Neoplanta, the Ixzaran government has decided that it has remained silent on the issue for far too long. The Ixzaran Navy will be deploying the 5th fleet to patrol the Adriatic, the 9th fleet has been ordered to further patrol the Black Sea, while the 11th and 14th fleets will be arriving 200 miles off the coast of Nova Zembla in the next few hours to be used in unison with Grangale fleets for anti-pirate operations. This entire operation will be spearheaded by Admiral Alfredo Ribatejo. (OOC: So when getting in contact with the fleets, get in contact with him and he will send the necessary orders to each fleets captain)

We would greatly appreciate it if you could have the parts transported to Helghan Air Base in Directia. The clearance code is: Sierra Tango Delta India 0607. Upon entering Imperial air space you will be requested to transmit this clearance code. You will be requested for the code again upon entering Capital District air space.

The MLC merchant ship had been crewed with Army and marines from the Venator as well as several IIS agents. The ship was sent to the new coordinates for what was called the Eastern Outpost, the ship would be shadowed by a Type 212 attack submarine transfered to the 4th Fleet from the 5th, and the Venator, the Saber and the Victory would follow some distance back. This was to be a covert operation with the main objective of learning who the parties were that were running this grand black market network. If there was any more information leaks the 4th Fleet was poised to bombard the Outpost with missiles.

The only Antonov An225 of the Grand Ducal Air Force was going to be used on the operation, due to the parts size and weight the commonly used KC-930 didn't have the capacity for such.

All the parts were heavily packed and nearby, Commander Nika Kurchenko was giving the clearance code to the officer on the other side of the radio.

A few minutes later they were landing at Helghan Air Base.

Meanwhile the NBC unit had secured the waste which was now on its way to a secured facility in the Grand Duchy where it would be analysed to confirm its precedence, although they were almost certain it was from Nova Zembla due to the characteristics of the container. The Spec Ops now with some RIS operatives were on a very different operation. The plan was to get the ones who would receive the cargo.

In Kiev Dmitri Alexeievich had become a very nervous man.

'So how many pirates do we have caught?' asked the general in command of the Royal Dutch Army Jan Pieterszoon Coen.

'About 30 sir. We have no idea if this are the real pirates or just mercenaries hired for transportation of the goods.' replied the colonel who led the operation from the side of the Seven United Provinces.

'The Veoman troops warned us about a barrel of nuclear waste they found, have you found more of the same horrors?' the general asked.

'None of the kind sir, seems like we are lucky this time.'

The general let out a sigh of relief. 'Ok listen to me, I have my orders from high positions in the government. We can not dispose these abominations of human life, we have to put them behind bars so they can show up in front of an international tribunal in the near future. We will carry the burden of them, which is to be as small as possible. Not that we can not carry the load of 30 something men but it would be morally wrong to treat them like worthy human beings.'

'What do you want me to do sir?'

'Well for instance, make sure that they are cheaper than a dog in an animal shelter. Take anything from them that brings humanity... no privacy, no opinion, no worth, not even a name... merely a number. Make sure they will regret the decision that they are not to be executed.'

'You want me to sign them up for the submarine service sir?' the colonel asked.

'You are a ruthless man colonel. Have you no feelings at all?.... You understand what I mean, just make sure they will survive in an average physical health. But I want to see unrepairable mental wrecks. Some crimes are too bad for a simple reprimand.' the general concluded.

'Consider it done sir' the colonel said and walked away to pass on the orders.

The general had second thoughts and ran after the colonel. 'Listen, what I said about the unrepairable mental damage. Do not take that too literally will you. I only meant to tell you not to treat them like some famous moviestar, this are criminals of the worst kind.'

'General, I am not as stupid as I look. I was not about to make a sausage of their limbs or anything.' the colonel replied laughing.

'Good to hear you got the point then.' the general said, hoping that the colonel really did get it.

The crew of the train, ordinary people working for a living, had absolutely no idea what they were taking across the border in the giant railcar sized closed crates. After they were arrested by the SUP troops, they were all screaming in panic, some of them crying. As they were put away in an unsanitary place and treated badly, many complained vehemently claiming human rights. However, the worst was yet to come, and what was really scary for them was that there were no questions asked of them.

OOC: You think the pirates would have personally used a train to smuggle the cargo? What for, when they have the nice people of the railroad services to do that for them? In the end, if the papers are in order, there rail guys rarely ask many questions, and can hardly be bothered to check all the 500000 tonnes of cargo they usually have.
