OOC: Smuggling weapons and tanks without knowing it? Could be if it was a cargo with only barrels or something. But this is too much not knowing... In real life weapon cargo's are always checked by any nation. (Only Holland refrains from doing that if allied nations pay extra ofcourse. I think of it as a strange thing to do, but for the right amount of money anything seems to be possible.)

Conclusion, there are no unknown weapon cargo's transported with papers in order. The only possibility for a scenario like this to happen is to do it in secrecy.

OOC: Well the rail way service can be a front like the how the shipping company became a front for the black market network the piracy was a part of.

By the way, I've been very busy the past few days, I'll post something more later tonight or tomorrow.

OOC: Haha I have not been arresting just some random men of the railroads ofcourse. That would be wrong. No worries Grangale, welcome back!

Jinghua was with several engineers as they inspected the parts that were transported from Veomo. Jinghua had met her Veomo counterpart personally at Helghan Air Base and the contents of their cargo hadn't left her eye since.

"Yeah, I'm 99.999999% sure, these parts were made by ArmsTech. They have this unique way of manufacturing things, and these parts have all the tell tail signs." One of the military engineers said to her.

They had now established a definitive link between ArmsTech and the black market, now all that was left was to find out who in ArmsTech was responsible. In the mean time though, she would be able to get ArmsTech's product shipments put under surveillance and any destined for the black market would be intercepted. She took out her encrypted phone and made the necessary arrangements to do so.

There was still the matter of Grangle Maritime Insurance CEO Gregory Sokolov...

Elsewhere

Gregory Sokolov could feel his patience with Ulrich Jurgen. He looked across the table at Friedrich Krause, owner of Continental Freight the railway lines that was transporting the black market merchandise across the continent, essentially Jurgen's land based counterpart. The three held a confrence on Sokolov's boat, with Jurgen attending via video conferencing.

"To maintain the profits we had, we need more ships out here to replace the ones the Navy has caught, we also need to show that the pirates are still out there. With the Navy rampaging though the oceans, I'm losing more clients. We also need the profits to set up the second Outpost!" Sokolov explained.

"And I told you, I don't have any ships left to spare for that! I can't just snap my fingers and merchant ships magically appear!" Jurgen retorted. "I need more time, and yes, I know our 'regulars' are itching for us to re-open at the new location."

"You know this, so why the hell are you dragging your feet!" Sokolov shouted.

"Look the authorities have been sniffing around my ass, I need to be careful." Jurgen calmly said, with an icy tone.

"Fine, do what you need to do..." Sokolov said has he cut the link. Sokolov worked hard to put his grand scheme together. His company had long been associated with organized crime, originally though money laundering. But he wanted to be more than just a small fry, he was a man of ambition. So he crafted this grand scheme, to use piracy to increase his own profits to build up some start up cash, then he brought in MLC's vice-president to provide ships, and finally brought in Krause to move their "products" on land. For a time, business was good, and they even set up the Northern Outpost, their "brick and mortar" black super-market. He became one of the richest men in the Empire. But seeing the Imperial Navy gradually tearing down all he'd worked for, infuriated him, and Jurgen's dubious commitment to the enterprise only poured gasoline on that fire.

As the convoy was heading towards Kiev, the Spec Ops unit well hidden on the back with the cargo, and the RIS operatives were driving.

A few clicks outside of Kiev a blockade was waiting for them. The night had fallen and under the lights of the convoy. Several men in overcoats were waiting, bearing small armaments. The RIS agent that was driving recognize a couple of them from the UDO file, while there was one man that most of the time remained inside the car.

It was only when one of the armed men, stood by the window and got the "papers" of the cargo and made an affirmative signal to the man in the car, that the man left the car. It was Dmitri Alexeievich himself. Apparently he was so anxious that he decided to receive the delivery himself.

The commandeered merchant ship docked at the new Outpost that had been set up, without incident. This new facility was built on an abandoned offshore oil rig that had been towed out to sea.

About a mile away the GIS Stingray, a Type 212 submarine that was transferred to the 4th Fleet from the 5th observed the facility.

Back aboard the Venator, Commodore Ramius read though the intel reports that their agents had compiled and transmitted. Needless to say it just might be enough to shut the whole thing down. Locations of the remaining pirate bases, drop off points, contact lists. Though there were a few more things they needed to really put the last nail in the coffin. The 4th Fleet had more than enough firepower to send the whole rig to the bottom of the ocean, however they still needed to confirm if there were any nuclear materials on the Outpost. If nuclear materials were found, and NBC warfare team would be sent in to secure, and retrieve the materials before the 4th Fleet sent the rig to the bottom.

First he lost control of his company, a company that he worked all his life to build, and now it seemed he even lost his country. Ulrich Jurgen looked back at at Neoplanta from the stern of his last merchant ship as it left port. He'd lost just about everything, except the small collection of merchant ships he still had. Four total. He knew this would be a blow for that bastard Sokolov, but not one he thought was fatal.

First he thought about setting up shop anew in some other country, but figured Sokolov would find him eventually. Besides, he lacked the funds to maintain these four ships and pay their crews. He placed his hand in the pocket of his coat and rested it on the butt of the Makarov PMM pistol he started carrying after he met Sokolov. For a moment he considered suicide, but before he could bring the gun to bear on himself a desire for revenge swept him. He didn't deserve this, he was a good, honest, hard working man. A man pulled into a web of vicious spiders. He heard of an Grangalian naval officer out in the eastern oceans named Ramius, he would meet with this man, and take his revenge, revenge on the man who destroyed his life...

...revenge on Gregory Sokolov.

With the information provided by Ulrich Jurgen's defection, it wasn't long before the rest of the pirate bases were destroyed. After a tiresome campaign the 4th Fleet's mission could finally be called completed as far as the piracy matter was concerned, while the black market issue was a matter for the IIS to finish up. The Navy couldn't really do much for matters inland. But as Ramius suspected there would be no rest of the weary.

"Excellent work Commodore, you and your crew will be commended." Grand Admiral Belmont's voice said over the speakers in the Venator's bridge. "I wish I could have given you and your fleet shore leave, but we have another mission for you. The 4th Fleet is to make for Sekigahara Naval Base and pick up a squad of Harriers, then set course for Istanbul via the Suez. The 4th Fleet's new mission is to provide naval support for Colonel Ridvan Kemal, and ex-Ixzaran commander we've agreed to support."

"Acknowledged sir." Ramius replied.

"I expect to hear good results, Belmont out."

After the comm was cut, there was a collective groan heard across the bridge.
