The Chancellor spoke, "We have discussed several possible proposals to offer to you, but we didn't bring a finished document, because we feel that to offer you something without your input would do little except stir up the tensions regarding this issue again.

Maybe Celatorian subjects with an ethnic and cultural link to the Low Countries could be offered SUP citizen under less stringent restrictions, and, if citizens of the SUP wish to reside in the Low Countries, they could be offered the same of Celatorian citizenship.

We would also happily offer an agreement for travel throughout both of out nations to reduce restrictions if you so desire, as we have signed similar agreements with both San Lumen and Byronmandy already.

In a more abstract sort of manner, our nations could, for instance, share museum and art exhibitions regarding the cultural and historical heritage of the low countries. Certainly, there is no debate that the Dutch lands have produced some of the most impressive artwork ever seen in history. Rembrandt being a personal favourite of both myself and the king.

Our aim here is to make both your people and ours feel more contented with the general situation. If anything, you are in a better position to propose what you would like out of any offer that we make to you, so feel free to propose anything that you feel is reasonable."

The Stadhouder smiled and said 'I lvoe the idea that it would be easier for our citizens to move to the Low Countries. However it should not be too easy for I think the numbers of people wanting to emigrate would be gigantic. Hundreds of thousands to over a million would be a possibility. We do not want that to happen. However, easy travel and more emigration freedom would be highly appreciated. You have no idea what your proposal means to us.'

The Stadhouder continued 'Let us start with building a museum together and workout the details of the matters we just discussed.'

The Chancellor, most pleased with the Stadhouder's reaction, smiled to himself before he began speaking, "Oh certainly, certainly, we wouldn't want huge amounts of people to shift at a single time. Still, I am certain we will be able to find a compromise.

On the subject of jointly building a museum, I wholeheartedly agree, but where should it be built?"

The Stadhouder nodded 'Compromising is good. Well for a location I would think somewhere in the Low Countries would be great. Maybe a location with a view on the North Sea?'

"Yes, that sounds excellent. Does Northern Friesland seem an acceptable location? If so, we can begin preparations immediately."

What do you think of the old stronghold city of Naarden?
I do not know how much of it is still intact, but it could be a wonderful place to create a museumtown.

It has no view on the sea though. For that Brielle would be a better option.

For example:
- Brielle
- Naarden

(OOC: Wow, both of those places are really impressive.)

"Alternatively, we could construct a gallery in one of those places and a museum in the other? Certainly, both would be excellent places. If you would rather that both buldings be in one place or the other, we will leave the choice to you, for we would be fine with either."

'Naarden is the smallest of the two. What if we would try and make a complete museum town of it? So the entire stronghold one big open air museum?'

(OOC: There are like 8 of those towns in the Netherlands. Those star shape forms date back from the 13th till the 17th century. Approximately ofcourse, they changed a lot over time. I lived in Hellevoetsluis, the only one specifically for naval purposes. Naarden is the best preserved one, its almost completely authentic. Best one though is Bourtange. Although that one is a reconstruction.'

"I believe we can agree to that. Naarden seems an excellent location. Planning can begin immediately."

(OOC: Some of those towns are really impressive. I'm suprised I hadn't heard of them before.)

'Agreed' the Stadhouder concluded.
After this the party had a good lunch and talked about casual things. Home, family, the weather, etc. They had an excellent afternoon.
