An hour or so after lunch, having discussed various subjects casually, and the conference briefly, the King and the Chancellor stood up and said their farewells to the Stadhouder, in both Dutch and English. They shook hands and soon they were outside.

Once outside, the Chancellor smiled to himself and spoke to the King, "I feel we have made a friend of the SUP today, if not an ally."

The King replied, "Certainly, and I am most pleased that we have done so. I am sure that both their citizens and ours will be pleased to hear what we have achieved. It will, I hope, at least take the sting out of some of sad events that have occured here."

(OOC: Just as an FYI, MVN, Grangale, and myself have all agreed that instead of waiting for the rediculously long 15 weeks to pass before re-armament to full power, we will just retsore all of our nation's militaries to full strength immediately. Normally this wouldn't be allowed, but since all sides agreed, I think it is fine).
