Hello everybody. I've been thinking a bit lately, and I've noticed that our regional map is quite small. Yes, it may be big on the screen, but the scale is very small. When we are all hardly more than an hour or two flying distance away from each other, I think it may be too small. I think for greater diversity and the case for more range and overall scale, perhaps we should think about changing the regional map a bit. These two changes are not that dramatic, but I hope that they would add another dimension to our RP possibilities and make things just more exciting and work to create more possibilities since we are RPing in the modern age after all. The first thing that I highly suggest we adapt would be to change the scale of the map, shown in the top left corner of the regional map to x1.5 the size it is now. The picture on the screen will remain the same size, just everything will be a bit bigger for RP purposes. The next thing I suggest is that we add southeast asia to the map. This will create a whole different section of our map that will be very strategically important and open up a whole new world of RP possibilities. To accomodate the growing map scale and addition of land, I would be willing to change everyone's population for the military stats to x1.3. This should work well, without creating a population density crisis since the map is growing by x1.5. This will actually make the world a little less densely populated, but may end up giving some nations a few extra divisions to work with (and perhaps to station in SE asia?) I think that this is a very exciting idea that we should all adapt immediately. This will not change any RPs that we've done before, or alter anything else dramatically. We'll just RP in the future like these things have always been here. What do you guys think? Oh, and I will be starting another recruiting drive to get more nations also. Also, here is an example of what the new regional map would look like- ![]() Link to map |

I would be in favor of this idea. |

I second, though I'd suggest adding Japan, so we don't have that big empty space off my coast. |

Okay, I'll update the map then. However, do you guys think we may want to consider making the map into a globe again? Here is what it would look like with the new additions- ![]() link to map I think I would support this, and I'm curious as to if you guys think we should address the issue once again. |

I don't mind the map to be a globe at all. |

I'm not sure about the globe. Though i do like how it looks. Would it be possible to add a few more islands to the ocean? Perhaps Greenland? Or a fictional Carribbean with Cuba Hispaniola, Jamaica, Trindad and Tobago and a few other small islands?
