S.E.A.L, Social and emoctional aspects of life project reflects on our feelings and what makes us
sad, happy, embarrased, angry, etc.
I talk with the students on this topic so they can understand that when they're upset about something, they can always talk to me about it.
If they're unsure or uncertain about something I want to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
So in English lessons, I ask everyone whether they're happy or sad. Many say happy and some say sad.
I ask them what the matter is and they tell me and I try to help them as much as possible.
Sometimes we do little drama's.

In Thursday 26th June's Lesson:

Today we did about bullying situations.
I picked a student as the bully and another as the 'victim' we watched the impact on the victim when the bully picked on them. This feeling was sad and we talked about why this might make the victim sad.

Thank you for reading the S.E.A.L forum,
Miss Jo
