I know nothing about them and instead of asking random people I thought I'd ask y'all :D

So what is a good one. Preferably under $200.

yeah this is the right place for the topic Eletrick, anything hardware or software related for computers or games goes in here =)

As for capture cards I am currently using a $50+ Dazzle for my laptop. Its decent quality and I can capture in widescreen and then up the quality in after effects later. I bought my dazzle at best buy I got the white version.

It works great on my windows 7 64 bit computer, so yes this capture card is 64 bit compatible, that is what makes it great b.c some capture cards don't work with 64 bit.

If you want something that allows pass through as well (for streaming), you would need something like the Hauppauge HD PVR.

I know the dazzle can stream, seen people use it before.

Do you need a composite video/analog audio splitter then? (One going to capture device, computer, stream and the other to your console).

I don't see any type of pass through feature.
