Name: George Walker Bradford State: Georgia Birthplace: Savannah, GA Birthdate: Sept. 19th (38 years old) Religious Beliefs: Protestant Political Beliefs: Jeffersonian History in Brief: George Walker Bradford is the eldest son of George Herbert Bradford, a wealthy plantation owner in the Savannah area. George W. and his wife Laura inherited a 300 acre plantation just outside of Savannah, along with 23 slaves, upon his father's death of pnemonia in 1780. George W. did not join the Revolutionary cause early on, choosing instead to stay at the Bradford Plantation with his family. However, it's said that during the British occupation of Charleston, and the resulting encroachment into Georgia, that Bradford joined with other plantation owners in the area to organize volunteers for the Georgia militia. Not much is known about his military record, he dosen't discuss it in public, but he is known to have been a Captain, and is believed to have fought with rebel forces in South Carolina, and later at the Battle of Yorktown where Cornwalis eventually surrendered. Since the war the Bradford plantation has been expanded by the purchase of surrounding farmland, some of which belonged to fellow veterans who did not return home. Entering politics a few years after the war, George has served in the Georgia House before being elected to his current office. |

Indeed ![]() I'm happy to see you went with a Southern state, by the way. We have proportionally a bit too many Northerners, so you will even it out nicely. |

Yeah, I noticed that. I figured no one wanted to play the rich plantation owner with slaves in the field, so I will. I'll try to stay in character, and not come off as racist. |
