Mackenzie Grace Harlotte![]() Age: 24 Caste: Queen Race: Dea al Mon Birth Territory: Dea al Mon Home Territory: Dea al Mon Birthright Jewel:Yellow (55) Jewel of rank: Summer Sky(8) Description Physical Description: There isn't a doubt in the world that Mackenzie is of Glacian heritage when you look at her. Her flowing, premium blonde hair falls usually carelessly down her back ending just along the line of her hips. The Queen likes to keep it down, but when she is deep in thought or trying to concentrate it takes her only a few seconds to twirl and tie it up. Light bangs sometimes hide her sapphire blue eyes, but nothing really takes a person away from looking at them. She loves to wear charcoal around her eyes to radiate them as well as a little blush to her cheeks. Mackenzie's features are fine and sharp at some angles and soft and delicate at others. Her lips are full and prominent, which curve into a beautiful smile when she is happy or finds something funny. If there is any flaw about her looks, it would be the quirk of her eyebrow when she is frustrated or mad. Mackenzie wears her skin comfortably. She's not boastful about her looks nor does she shy away from them. Her frame is small and so is her waist, though her hips curve out to give her that slender hourglass figure that most males enjoy. She doesn't have to take care of her body as well as others do, but she does like to go for long walks to keep herself somewhat active. Males find her legs irresistible about her. Mackenzie like to dress up and she likes to dress down. It all depends on the mood she's feel that caters to her wardrobe. If she feels like staying home one day she will put a part of comfortable pants on and a shirt that is twice her size. If she is called to lunch, dinner or special occasions then she finds herself in professional gowns, dresses or outfits that are very presentable. Mackenzie isn't shy of colors though her favorites include red, black, blue and purple. One thing she doesn't go without wearing is a silver change that contains her descent girl within. She often wears jewelry including a ring her mother gave to her that included her birthright. Personality: Mackenzie is a reasonable girl – learning too early in life that somethings get taken away from you when you wish they wouldn't. She never knew her mother, but the evidence and pain her father experiences every day missing her mother shows her exactly what kind of woman she was. She missed her mother, especially in times of need when a daughter needs her mother, but most of all just generally. Mackenzie loves her father greatly, but sometimes it's hard to talk about liking a male when her father is so overprotective of her as it is. One thing you'll always subtly notice in Mackenzie is the Queen within. Though she hasn't completed her training she radiates her caste naturally as she loved to be outside. Other things that she likes to do entails is cooking, knitting and dancing. Though she isn't that great of a dancer Mackenzie finds that it loosens her up after a stressful day. She however is exceptional at cooking – winning contests as a young girl and having restaurants excel when they find her in their kitchen. Though the Queen would seem to have a more stabled life, Mackenzie enjoys that she has had to work hard throughout her life. It's helped her build character as well as experience with others. She is kind, trust worthy and shy as a button when it comes to talking about certain things. Things like talking about her feelings towards a male or things that go along with that subject are usually what has the Queen blushing. She can be shy about somethings, but she also can be quite the opposite if you push her buttons in the wrong way. Just because Mackenzie can be nice doesn't mean that when you wrong her that she won't give you a piece of her mind. Ever since Mackenzie's accident she fears Warlord Princes, usually finding herself having panic attacks around them, which is good for her in Dea al Mon since they've been forbidden. She knows that she can't make an assumption on all of them based only on what one did to her, but still she cannot shake her fear of them. Likes: [*] Knitting [*] Puppies [*] Shopping/dressing up [*] Chocolate [*] Singing Dislikes: [*] Negativity [*] Rude people [*] Drunks [*] Corruption [*] Pain History Mackenzie was born to a Opal Warlord and his Yellow Healer wife. They were childhood sweethearts and inseparable since the day they laid eyes upon each other. It was somewhat intoxicating being around the couple for too long as the perfection their marriage had sometimes made others realize what it was they were missing out on. It was in the springtime that Mackenzie's mother told her husband that she was pregnant. Overjoyed and surprised it was the next nine months that they both planned and prepared for the child they had always wanted. They had boy and girl names picked out, clothes already ready to be worn and they even had painted and made up the nursery that their child would be spending most of its time in. To say that they weren't prepared in some way was near impossible – the two of them were too excited to leave out any detail. As it was time for Mackenzie to be born a unfortunate twist of events occurred. As the Healer aided in the pregnancy there were some complications that left Mackenzie's mother paler and weaker than she should be. Worried about his wife, everything only got worse as it got closer for Mackenzie to be born. It was as the Healer helped conceive the baby girl that she held her arms that the life of his wife slipped through the cracks. The complications had been too serious for the Healer to tend too at the same time that the baby was being born. Traumatized that he had lost his wife though still happy to have a baby Queen daughter, Luike knew that life would have to go on – even if he was sad for awhile. It was tough at first for Luike to take care of Mackenzie while keeping a steady job. All in all though he succeeded to keep her healthy, educated and safe throughout her childhood. Though it was hard taking her to her birthright without his wife he saw it through and was happy when she walked away with the Yellow. He missed his wife greatly, but the more he looked at his daughter the more he saw his wife within her. Years went by and Luike and Mackenzie got by while every extra penny the Warlord saved went towards her training as a Queen. Mackenzie never finished her official training but as much as she could she bought books about it or watched other Queens – feeling the natural ways of being a Queen within her. Her childhood years had their ups and downs as she grew up without a mother or someone to talk about certain things with, but all in all she was happy with the parent she still did have. She loved her father greatly and she thanked the darkness for what he had given her as it is. Mackenzie aged and matured taking random jobs that showed her skills as a cook (which she loved to do) which as her father grew older was helpful when it came to providing for them. Mackenzie had no problem staying home to take care of her father, even if it meant sacrificing new and exciting things. Part of doing so did make her sacrifice a lot of friendships, but she tried to push the disappointment with that away as she knew she was all her father had left. A few more years passed and it seemed that Dea al mon hit a dry spell with water about the same time that the infamous killings began. Her father made Mackenzie stay close due to them, but still, even as she felt the drought taking over the land she itched to help it. It was in one of those moments where she couldn't stand to just sit inside while the land suffered that Mackenzie decided to take a walk. Taking the winding road to an open field she sat down getting ready to offer her blood to the suffering land. As she was just about ready too a man appeared out of nowhere – a Warlord Prince darker than her who looked very upset. “You're a Queen.” Was all he said at first while Mackenzie stood up and nodded her head, trying to be polite though the way he was shaking and sweating had her worried. “Yes I am Prince.” Was all she said while he took a step forward. Taking one back Mackenzie did not like how he was looking at her, “ I need you. I need your blood.” Was all the Prince said before Mackenzie felt the lock of her body as he used craft on her. As she struggled to get free there was no use as he made his way closer to her. It was as he was inches away from her, briefly stroking her face with a smile on his face that she felt trouble within. The next thing Mackenzie remembered was darkness as the male struck her hard enough for her to black out. Waking up somewhere strange Mackenzie still felt the restraint on her body, though this time she knew it was because the rope around her wrists and legs were crafted as she sat on a chair in the middle of a dark field with a bonfire going not too far from her. Looking around she felt the pain from where she was struck, but she couldn't see anything or anyone. It was only a few moments later that that silence was gone when she saw the Warlord Prince in front of her, feeding the fire as he looked at it and back her a few times. Mackenzie found her words that time as she pleaded him to let her go – promising him that she wouldn't tell anyone what happened. Still, he wouldn't let her go. All he did was mumble about something about future plans for her and his land. Somewhere between worrying and pleading for her life Mackenzie found sleep engulf her -hopefully she would be alright was all she hoped for. It was around dawn when Mackenzie woke again to find the Warlord Prince tugging on her arms to wake her. As the light filled the field she was still in she noticed how damaged the land was which made her heart still break even in the current situation she was in. It was when the male pulled out a long blade that Mackenzie began to get worried again and beg for her life. Still, all the male did was talk about how he needed her blood to save his land. It wasn't until Mackenzie felt the sharp blade rip at her skin that she began to understand that he intended to bleed her dry to save his land. Even as he began the process there was little that she could do as it happened. She sat there bleeding to death as he watched with a smile – all she did was the sleep coming on. She didn't know how long had passed when she woke, but between gaining consciousness all Mackenzie remembered was the male being restrained, feeling horribly weak and seeing her father. The rest was a blur until a few days later when Mackenzie woke to find Healer's working on her. After being told the story she gasped and began to remember things – the Healers and her father telling her that the man who had done that to her was taken away and in good hands now. Still though, to this day Mackenzie dreads Warlord Prince's as the scars along her inner arms and the backs of her legs are evidence of what she should fear. When Dea al Mon ran Warlord Princes out of the territory there was a small sigh of relief that escaped her lips.
