Seasons/Weather:

I’ve used the months for simplicity. Based on various resources, but mainly referenced Norway, Greenland, and Alaska.

Summer: * Late June – Early August
Glacian summers are quite brief, but surprisingly temperate with warm, long, and bright days. While it rarely gets above 70°F (20°C), it still maintains a plentiful growing season. The weather, however, is very prone to sudden change, where warm and sunny weather can very quickly shift to cold and wet. It is also summer when in the extreme north of Glacia that the sun never sets and can even be seen at midnight.

Autumn: * September
The shortest season in Glacia, autumn is also the most colorful. The temperatures gradually drop down to the frigid winter weather, so a quick harvest is usually made before the frosts set in.

Winter: * October – April
The Glacian winter is the longest of the four seasons. Stretching a whole of 6 to 7 months, it is long, hard, and cold. Reaching temperatures as cold as -40°F (-40°C) it is the kind of weather only a Glacian can love. But it has its own beauty, the landscape covered in a thick white blanket of snow and ice.

Spring: * May – Mid June
Springtime is brief, but beautiful in Glacia. Everything is coming back to life as the earth wakes from its cold slumber—the flowers and orchards blooming, the snow and ice melting to fill the lakes, river, and waterfalls, the people working in the fields. It is colorful, bright, and a breathtaking season. The temperature gradually builds up to the summer temps.
