An entertaining game for the good Shawbridge crowd, with the home side regretting a defensive lapse with two minutes to go. Two more poacher's goals for Lloyd and really good to se the young lads standing up to a very physical and intimidating Salford side. The match report might be delayed a bit as I've IT problems at the moment.

Interesting report from the Salford Star http://www.salfordstar.com/article.asp?id=2073. They're obviously spoilt by living in beautiful Salford. :'(

Very biased reporting with the blinkers on.

Going to Clitheroe on a summer's day is bad enough. Going up there in mid December enduring driving rain, a gale and a bunch of hillbilly supporters is the opposite of joy. That was until the 89th minute when sub David Chadwick ghosted in to head a well deserved equaliser that sent fans and players home happy. Happy with the the draw. And happy to get the hell out of Clitheroe.

Can't wait for our report to compare the two.

Shame really. The Salford officials I spoke to were top drawer. This pin head has written the same report for the past four seasons, so it's no real surprise.

I can't get my head round why somebody would write such drivel, or why anybody would want to publish it. I can't imagine it pleasing the Salford officials or indeed the players who fought to the end to gain a creditable draw in foul conditions.

I suggest we all email the editor, Stephen Kingston, and let him know what we think of their report: info@salfordstar.com

Gareth Lyons is the guy in the photo credits from the game so I assume he penned the article. Not great writing for a publication with such worthy aims. Accuracy of reporting better suited to the Daily Express or Mail on Sunday.
As for the refereeing decisions, the guy must have a good optician if he can see if a player in the far corner is off side from behind the goals.
