Noticed in the transfers that Scott Bakkor has gone to Witton Albion.
As a contract player I hope we got a good deal.
All the best for the future Scott.

Peter, as we always say, the club never stands in the way of players who want to further their careers higher up the pyramid. There is a solid financial element to the deal, which will be apparent in the end of year accounts. We're not talking Gareth Bale, though. Scott goes with everyone's best wishes - when the mood was with him, he was almost unstoppable.

Hope the lad does well for them. He has pace and guile and should make the step up fairly easily. There is no doubt we will miss him but in Danny, Lloyd and Sean we have a pretty good strikeforce still. All we have to do now is uncover a gem in midfield to provide the opportunities ;)

Warren Bellew also scored on debut for Runcorn Linnets in a 4-0 win over Ashton Athletic..

By all accounts Scott had a good debut for Witton yesterday. Good luck to him, I'm sure he'll flourish in the higher league.

Shame... But hardly surprising given he was warming the bench so much

It appears as though we have back to the bad old days where the first thing we hear about a player leaving is when he turns out for another team.

Disappointed to see Danny leave. Not sure why he's been used so infrequently in recent games?

I have to agree as he turned the game at burscough and never got a sniff since. I'm sure simon has his reasons but I'm pretty sure Danny won't be without a game for long
