Hope everyone that goes has a great day out. I have a sneaky feeling we'll get something from this game. I don't expect us to be as bad as we were last week.

Live match reports here on Radio Scarborough.

They are laughing at Jason Hart nearly hitting the chip shop from a free kick.

Ross Dent pulls a goal back with 1 minute to go. Pushing for an equalizer now.

Finished 2-1.

Fear not Pete, this forum's in my blood! The omens today probably weren't the best when the team coach broke down a the top of the Baxenden bypass, but a replacement was despatched and the lads were on their way in half an hour. You forget how far it is to Bridlington, a good 2 and a half hours, and my inadvertent choice of going via Hull was an interesting one.

As for the game, I knew that ex North Ferriby Man Bradshaw would score for them as he always does against us, and an early free kick gave him the perfect chance, which he took. The Seadogs were very lively going forward but Sefton and Jay showed we could get at them at the back. The game exploded on 40 minutes when Danny Morton who was tussling with a player along the edge of the box was deemed to have pulled him, cue a red card from a referee who had a stinker, a saved penalty, but before the ball had left the box, Seydou got close to a player just inside the box, who collapsed like he'd been shot, second penalty, 0-2. Tempers were stratospheric, the referee was a known pantomime villain in these parts and he stayed true to form.

In the second half, the lads kept their shape and even made a couple of cracking chances, but Denty's stab home came just too late. It did however seal his MoM performance for me. We move on.
