This lot are a tough nut to crack. Losing Jay Hart to a couple of broken toes (according to Twitter) from a tasty challenge gave the side a lopsided feel, whilst the key moment in the first half when the Seadogs got the goal, saw Denty sliced in half from a robust challenge before the ball squirted free. No real complaints though. Sefton had a few chances, Zack Dale never quite shook off the attentions of his marker, but this Boro side has clearly been round the block a few times. On to Tuesday with a big final to play for.

Nice to see some compliments about the town from the away fans for a change

From the "Surfing Seadog" Scarborough Athletic Forum:

"In fact it was a top day out yesterday. Very friendly welcome from Clitheroe. I certainly came away thinking what a nice place Clitheroe is. If we don’t go up this season, one consolation is we will have another day in Clitheroe to look forward to."

"great hosts, nice town, proper non league ground"

"If you were cold you should have dropped into the New Inn as recommended by somebody on here. Open fire and excellent selection of ale in there. Like i said, Clitheroe was a delight. I finished off the day with a superb curry at the Dil Raj.

Did anybody else try the "famous" sissy green pies from Stansfields pie shop? Awesome"
