The Committee is already in well advanced discussions with Simon and Ryan about their plans for the 2015/16 season. This is especially important given everyone’s desire to build on the success both on and off the pitch of the current campaign, and to push hard for the play off places next season. A revised playing budget is being discussed and this will be finalised at a committee meeting on Monday, 27 April following the last game of the season. To maximise the resources available to the management team, whilst retaining the tight financial discipline which has underpinned all football club activity in recent years, the Committee will be running a SKI Fund for 2015, which proved so successful in the past. Simon’s Key Investment Fund will offer £10 tickets to those who have Clitheroe FC at heart. The winning prize will be 20% of the overall pot. The remaining 80% will be set aside for next season’s playing budget. Tickets can be purchased on line through our burgeoning social media presence and will also be available in traditional ticket form at the remaining home games. The winning number will be drawn at the end of the Players’ presentations for both the first and youth teams. This will take place in the clubhouse shortly after the final game of the season against Warrington on Saturday, 25 April. As in previous years, the first fifty tickets have already been purchased by an anonymous donor. Should any of these tickets win, the prize money will be added back to the SKI fund. More details will follow, but we would urge all fans to support this drive to position the club for further success next season. |

Great initiative to bring this back. Has raised a good sum of money in the past. |

Hi Andy, you're right, the SKI Fund has proved to be a cracker in the past. We're going for a short, concentrated burst, using Pitchero's payment functionality to allow fans far and wide to put their tenners in to give the team a boost for next season. If 200 people buy a ticket, on top of the 50 already bought, that will be a pot of £2,500, with a first prize of 500 quid and £2K to the playing fund. If one of the anonymous tickets wins, it all goes in the playing fund. A winner all round. |

With 10 days to go, we have sold 56 tickets. That means a top prize of £112. For every £10 ticket you buy, the prize goes up by £2. I know we'll sell plenty more by the time of the presentation night after the Warrington game, but let's give this one a real push. Don't forget you can buy on line or in person. |

I sense this will be a slow burning fuse, hopefully with a big bang at the end. 57 sold, current first prize, £114. |

With one week to go, the SKI fund is creaking into life. Thanks to the travelling Blue who put 100 quid in my hand to buy 10 tickets. So, we're at 67 with a current top prize of £134. Get on the website, bring your tenners to the game next Saturday and let's get to the magic 200 tickets. |

OK, with a day and a half to go before the shutters come down at 6pm for the SKI fund, we've sold 84 tickets, giving a current top prize of £168. With a good crowd tomorrow and a full clubhouse after the match for the various presentations, I'd like to think we could shift another 50 or so. So, before you go and lie on the beach/stumble round the cricket pitch/pine like mad for football for three months, bring your tenners along tomorrow and help us start the new season in the best possible shape. Cheers, Chris |

Make that 86. If anyone else can't get to the game and is not a fan of paying online, just drop me an E-Mail via the message board and we can settle up later. I have a very high tech system for the draw. I write your name on my list, give you a number, put a raffle ticket in a beer mug and Bob's your uncle. |

Chris -- If you can find another way for me to pay (don't have Go Cardless), I'll buy 10 tickets. Think I still have your email and will try to contact you via that as well. Mark H. Portland, Maine |

Many thanks to everyone who bought one or several tickets. 164 tickets were sold by the deadline, giving a first prize of £328. Young Charlie Hibbert was asked to draw the winning number. Number 64 came out of the hat - the winner was Dennis Warburton. Dennis, you'd better send me an email as to where we send the cheque. As for the presentation do, with both senior and youth team presentations, it had a really tremendous feel about it. One club. On to next season we go! |
