FMA? I like Wrath. I always like the evil little guys.
Another reason I like Childre so much. He's an obnoxious evil little kid.

I'll admit, the first season intro is quite catchy, and I usually hate that Tokyopop crap, or whatever the correct name is.

I don't care for lyrics, in any language.

As a bassist, I dont care. If it has a catchy bass line (such as Power Field in the RMZ4 Physis Track Disc 2) I'll listen and play it.

Lately American music is skimpy on bass parts, so I've had to look elsewhere for hardcore bass lines. Japanese Metal just happens to give me a good enough thrill for their crazy parts. Hence why I'm currently playing bass parts from the band "X Japan". I had to come up with them myself though, but they're dead on.

Much game music has good bass, but I've noticed you can only really hear it on the soundtracks.

My reccomendations;

Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack

Eternal Arcadia Soundtrack (Skies of Arcadia)

Any Console Castlevania (especially CV IV)

RMZ remastered tracks do not disappoint in the bass department. And the Irregular Hunter X soundtrack is very good as well for bass parts (although synthesized...)

FF4/6 has great bass parts

Legend of Mana has AMAZING bass parts.

Secret of Mana is disappointing there, but the final btattle them with the Mana Beast Flammie called "Meridian Dance" is so ******* hardcore and hard, my fingers bleed when I do that one...so tiring...

It did,Ihave it right here in my hands, volume 1.

I liked the last few episodes' theme song,it is better to me.Of course when it comes to telling the difference between Bass and Normal old Electric,I have some trouble...
Liquid Ocelot-"It was you who killed Abel and was cast out by Eve."... "You killed your own flesh and blood." ..."What next? Will you pay for your sins and dig your own grave?"

Alot of songs these days silence the bass quite a bit. (Metallica for instance doesn't focus heavily on bass)

These days, you gotta be internally intune to hear bass and fel it through your body. In other words, you gotta be a bassist to fully appreciate bass.

I'm sorry to tell ya' Ina,but this really isn't a "bass in past and present music" topic (although that would be great).

On my birthday I'm thinking of getting the movie.I also heard the DS game got good reviews.

hehe, you sure are a trooper about keeping on topic. ^_^

I watched the movie around 2(?) months ago, I don't remember.

Hey! Wait a minute! Didn't I summarize the movie in another topic a LONG time ago? I don't remember...

Anyways, as most anime games are, they do poorly. I just hope that the touch screen will be used for something....you know...USEFUL.....like making Al punch some poor sap. I just hope it isn't for menu navigation...like, maybe Ed has a crap load of different transmutation spells but the touch screen is just used for selecting that spell.

LAME!

Well, you're supposed to use the touch screen to draw transmutation circles in scenes and such, but you're given an outling of each one to draw in(for example, the last episodes super transmutation circle, which just blew me away).I don't remember if it is used in actual battle or not.

It also has cutscenes of the show with the actual voice actors and follows the story closely(unlike games like oh say,Naruto:Clash of the Ninja).

Cool! I'd love to draw the rensenji, and I've already memorized 2 of them. The one they used when they were small and the one Al uses now.

Gosh I love J-pop. I don't appreciate American songs because they put so much inappropriate content and swearing. Plus, they don't really have that sort of zest that J-pop has. I mean, not all songs are like that but most of them are anyways.

You need to listen to a band called Muse.

Anyway, the game is almost out, even though it has been on the waiting list forever. I'll wait for one of my friend's to buy it first since he is FMA crazy. Then I'll "borrow" it for a month or so....
