Well they are cause every single one is designed to make you very mad. Even simple games like Nintendogs, or even your beloved Lunar Knights. All games are designed to make you mad. Don't flame me please. |

I understand what you mean. I see lots of people getting mad at games. For some reason it never bothers me. I can play games over and over doing the exact same thing repitively and it doesn't bother me. Maybe that's why I was able to complete AST. Only game that can get me angry is Fire Emblem. It gets to me because I will plan out the battle and take hours to beat some and then lose someone to a dumb mistake. That can makes me mad...but it doesn't stop me from restarting the battle and beating it. I think video games' goal is to teach patients and build drive. |

I'm a bit like Mario, but not with the repetitive thing abused with me. It gets boring, so I leave it for a while and come back to it. |

I used to throw fits when I was a small boy. Good times. Now it's no prob. If a game gets challenging either just go over it again and again til you do it. After all, it's only a game. So why get upset, know what I mean? |

ya same here with fire emblem but after i while i memorize the enemies moves since they do the same things over and over again but i only remember the first 3 moves but that still gives me a small advantage. Most annoying game i have ever played...the old school mario games and final fantasy games.

Not all games. For example, I can't see anyone getting angry with games like Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel; or Sims 2. The purpose of video games is to either put the player's hand-eye coordination skills, or strategy skills to the test. They also attempt to bring out some of the more basic emotions, like rage and fear, the hope with these isn't that you'd abuse it and take it out physically, but that you'd channel in into the game and be extra-aware for that soldier around the corner, or be able to blade-move-rocket-boost-blade-dodge-EO-and rocket, that enemy before he gets a hit off on you. If you get angry because something doesn't go your way, thats just childish. |

Guitar hero is an easy way to get angry. Disgaea is an easy way to fix said anger. |

Guitar Hero is 100% skill, maybe 1%, if you happen to slip and hit the right note, but I don't see why that would be an anger instigator. Usually I just stop playing because my arm can handle 15 songs straight... I really gotta puck up Disgaea, now that I know its not a completely retard game. (When I first saw it, I didn't like it, that Nin video was pretty funny though, and I'm a fan of the VA who does... Laharl? So they win this round...) |

Meh. I just despise the learning curve between medium and hard mode. I go and five-star everything and think I'm god, and then as soon as we get to the songs where I have to do the shifting, I'm beaten down on even my best songs. See my reply to your thread on Disgaea ;) In addition, random fact of the day: The VA who does Laharl-Sama is the same girl (Yes. Girl.) who did Rita Repulsor in the first few seasons of Power Rangers O_o. |
