Well, it just occured to me how much we really owe to Hideo Kojima, and, I mean, how little we ever talk about any of his other games.

The guy is a freakin' genius on wheels.

Anyways, lets start the discussion with Kojima's most popular game: Zone of the.... I mean Metal Gear Solid...

So yea... how about them... Snakes?

Snakes on a Plane was so dedicated to Kojima.

J00 serious?

I mean, I never saw the movie, it sounded like the worst idea for a movie since, I dunno, ever, but if it really was dedicated to Kojima, well... maybe I should see it.

Anyways, MGS3 was really good, surprisingly. Well, not really. Something about it though, it just didn't seem like it would be as story-oriented. I don't know why I was afraid of that, though, it was great.

I'd praise Kojima more if I liked any of his other games.

I'd praise his other games if he stopped all other projects and just made Boktai

MGS - One of my favorite series, the best thing about it, is it's story
ZOE - I liked zoe 2 a lot, it was so cool to use the Vector Cannon
Boktai - It pwns, why would I join this site if it waan't a good game?

Well, that's my opinion...

In regards to Snakes on a Plane, it was meant to be like an over the top all fun kind of movie. (If that made sense) Kind of a cult film like Evil Dead, I didn't care that much for it.

On topic, I don't believe I have played any other of Kojima's games. I don't really have any intereset in them and I don't like Snake. MSG is probably really good, but if I don't like the main character then I can't really get into the game. I wish he would quit that and make a Lunar Knights 2 game instead. :D

I never played ZoE 2: Second Runner, although I played the first one and the one for the GBA. The first one was the most amazing linear mech game I had ever played.
Spoiler: click to toggle
The GBA game wasn't so much on gameplay, but the story was great none-the-less.

Second Runner is still 44.99 for a used copy, and its hard to find. ; ;

I love MGS mainly for the story. Snake is pretty funny, especially the MGS3 Snake.
"Snake, this is a sneaking mission, do you know what that means?!"
"Uhhh... yea-"
"No you don't."
"Oh..."

Or the part where he was smoking to try to keep his mind off of Eve's body and then she hands him a gun and he suddenly stops thinking about other things and is completely fascinated by the make and conditioning of the gun.

I wasn't a big fan of Raiden. I played as him 'cause I had to, but I much perfer Snake. Besides, not only are his comments more humorous and his voice more interesting, Raiden just sounded like an idiot.

I would like to think that I've made it pretty obvious that I did not play Patlabor, mainly because I couldn't stand the dull monotomy of the series.
