Not sure, usually the d-pad is like the strum bar, and then you would have five frets if you use A. +, -, 1, and 2

B might be whammy?

Not sure though.

When did anybody other than staff get to make official topics?  Are you even aware of what an Official Topic is?

No one said this one was official... >.>

The topic title was "Official BnTO Guitar Hero II Friend Code thread!" before I edited it, sir.

Even so, who cares?

Its not like being sanctioned by an admin makes the topic any better, nor does the title. "official". Above all that it doesn't have an official topic to contend with, neither does it have an unofficial topic to contend with. Its still the "one and only" BnTO Guitar Hero III Friend Code thread.

All I'm saying is its pointless to bother changing something that nobody cares about. Unless you personally felt threatened or insulted by the existence of an unofficial "official" topic. Which seems shallow and insecure in my opinion, but who knows what the real reason is.

I gotz a question.... I want to get the Wii version of GHIII, and I want to play online...

If I get the Wii version and play online, will I be able to play with others who have it for the 360 and Ps3 or is the online not multi-platformed?

Official simply means Admin-Mod approved. These topics often, but not always, are pinned.

It's more of a 'let's not confuse people' thing. We have a precident.

No, seriously, it doesn't Have to be Admin/mod made. As for approved, are you saying you don't approve? Then delete this >_>.

Seriously, don't get caught up in small and stupid details, it really does make you look like a jerk.

EDIT: Also, What the hell do you mean "Confuse people" no one is going to get confused because someone put the word Official in the name. Even if they did, what the hell does it matter? No one is going to go "oh my god, you jerk, you used official and I got so confused and I feel like a fool now."

How about we make this a sub Wii Friendcode thread? It's for different systems as well, and it's focused on Guitar Hero.

I guess this fills the requirements for non-spam.
Though try to keep it on topic though!

Sabby, You have played GH before.. right?

No-I know that, I'm guessing that you can't play it unless you have the Guitar right?

No, you need the guitar to play it. Thats why the guitar comes with the game. There are to many combos for the Wiimote to handle, the different colored combos, and how there can be two or three at one time, which wouldn't work with the remote =3.

We know that, I was just wondering how you would play it if you could use a Wiimote.

Well, I can't see why you couldn't play with the Wiimote.

Every guitar hero in the past has allowed players to play using a normal controller. Yes, the game does come with a guitar, but it has two-player co-op and head-to-head, who would spend 180 just to play with their family members?

While it may be possible that you can't play GH3 on the Wii without the guitar, that would be the dumbest move from Neversoft since they took over the franchise. So, I honestly doubt it.

Yes, one may play with the wiimote.
B is green, down is red, um... yeah. you basically break your hand trying to use it, but you can still do it.

Sorry about the taboo with the thread title.

I didn't mean to cause trouble, and so far noone has posted a friend code...

I believe a wii user may only play online with another wii user. I know that's how the friendcodes work. But otherwise, be glad that so many people play on the wii. Trying to find a PS3 match is like looking for david spade in a good movie.
