Yesterday Assassin's Creed came out, and I didn't have it pre-ordered and luckily I got it. Well I started playing and I was boring at first because of the "getting to know the controls" part. After that was over you get a movie.....okay, well the story so far is really great. If anyone has anything to say about this...post here.

How is the gameplay? This game has been really hyped, but looking at the commercials it just looked kind of boring to play.

The gameplay is really fun. You start off able to use tons of cool moves and whatnot, and then you're stripped of everything, having to start with only your bare fists, as you progress you regain your powers again.

The combat system can get repetitive, but it has more diversity than Dynasty Warriors, so if you can stomach that you'll be fine.

I love running into large encampments and taking on 25 enemies at once. The feeling after walking away from something like that is amazing.

Oh, that and just killing an unsuspecting guard because he's in your way.

And the storyline... Lets just say it has a very strong duality to it. You'll notice something weird the moment you start playing, and it will be explained shortly after, but I think it works very well.

Also, there are cloud shadows, I mean, if that isn't awesome, I just don't know what is.

I did a little more research on this game, read a few reviews and what not. I also read about the
Spoiler: click to toggle
, (doesn't really matter to me, don't have any thing to play this game with) and I must say that it sounds a bit odd. It probably would have been better to reveal that kind of thing at the end.

The game sounds like it gets a bit repetitive after awhile, but after seeing some of the actual gameplay videos (not commercials) I think it looks quite interesting. The worlds also look pretty massive, and fun to explore. To be honest, if I had a 360 or a PS3 I would definetly give this game a try. I'm usually not a fan of these kind of games either.

Well, a lot of reviewers say it should have been revealed at the end, but I disagree. I feel that revealing that at the end would have us board with Altair. At least now we can start formulating ideas about what the real goal is and why they're using Altair to get to it.

It works way better than anyone makes it out to sound.

Yeah, the begining was relly weird to me....but other than that, I love the game!! I like the graphics, but the killing graphics were kinda bad. You stab a guy and a little blood spits out...I wish the would have had a blood stain, or a wound.

Your blade gets blood on it, but your character needs to not get blood on him or he will be revealed >_>;...

This game owns. No one who has it should go into the story at all or else you ruin a LOT of things you didn't expect.

I love going around in big towns though. I completed a part of the game where you only need to do 2 out of 6 things in town, and it was so much fun, I went around and saved all the villagers and finished all the other missions.

The Graphics=own, easily up there with Halo 3. Your character can move through crowds with perfect real life looks, as in, you can gently push them out of the way. or just have them move out of your way, hell, they even made it so if your doing a full speed run and you run into someone, you lose your balance, and unless you grab someone, you can fall down.

It's just so... perfect >_>;. I love playing the game...

Copain, I will knife you so bad.

This game has the single best graphics of any PS3/360 game. Halo 3 look like crap compared to this. I can't exactly explain why, but Bungie sucks at making faces. This game is amazing though, movie quality amazing.

To be fair, I've only played the game in 1080p, so I don't know that it looks better than Halo's 420, but I can't imagine so.

But, I still don't understand why magazines are reviewing this with 7s and 7.5s, this game is clearly deserving of a 10. I honestly think its just because they don't like the story, because everything else is perfect and downright beautiful.

Any game where I can be looking for a single flag for an hour, be absolutely frustrated with the difficulty of the location of the flag, but still have fun killing guards as I go, well, its just not a bad game at all. Reviewers really need to get their head on straight.

Repetitive gameplay? Well, in Bioshock and Halo all you do is shoot stuff and drive around, the only thing that really changes is the environment, no one calls that repetitive...

Seriously, people force themselves into repetition more than they try to get out of it.

I think it might be a bit better than Halo, but not way way better. It captures how real life would be much better than Halo though.

I really don't get why the hell people think this game is bad at all... It's so Freaking wonderful!

I love how you can climb a building and jump from ceiling support to support and jump to a window ledge but then drop from the ledge onto the back on an unsuspecting Templar, where you stick your hidden blade through his skull. Oh god this game makes you feel like a total bad ass.

This post was from the Gamefaqs message board, from a topic called the three worst aspects of Assassin's Creed, I completely agree with him.

You know, for attention, and because it seems like the popular thing to do. I've even added exclamation points after each complaint to help everyone grasp the seriousness of the situation. So here goes.

The three worst aspects of Assassin's Creed:

1) The game looks too good!!!
Seriously though, after like five eyegasms, my pupils began bleeding. You might argue that pupils can't bleed. But nonetheless, it happened to me. It can happen to you. I now have to play with my eyes closed - major flaw!!!

2) The animations are too smooth!!!
Yeah, I might enjoy the animations if they didn't make me crap my pants!!! Ubisoft has clearly teamed with Depends to increase the sale of adult diapers. Please, help prevent the rising risk of I.B.S. in young adults. Don't play this game!!!

3) The game is too immersive!!!
It doesn't even help to turn the game off. I'm still Altair whether I'm playing my 360 or not. It wasn't a problem until I started punching beggars in the face and throwing them to the ground. Not to mention the stabbings. I've stabbed more people in the neck after playing this game then I ever did before. But that's OK. If it goes court, just say video games made me do it. People don't kill people, video games do!!!

Thanks Ubisoft! I'm blind, I'm wanted for punching chicks in the face, and I don't have a single pair of pants that don't smell like crap.

Feel free to extrapolate on my genius.

From what I can tell it's because the tasks are pretty much the same every time. Most reader reviews seem to be in the 8-9 range, with a dud and a perfect thrown in here or there. An Ign reviewer only gave the graphics an 8, I don't even play the game and I can tell that should have been higher. How long does the story take to complete? It's got no online capabilities, and a short story could lead to some of the lower reviews. I think it will end up with some magazine awards though.

Well they are shooters. :P Also, I don't own Bioshock, but it definetely looks like there is more than just shooting in that game. (plasmids, hacking, and what not) Heck Bioshock makes me want to actually get a 360, and I haven't played any shooters outside of the levels in Raving Rabbids.
