Does speed really matter? It might, well you see, there this router I want: Dlink Ranger Booster Wireless G Router (WBR-2310), and its only 50$ with 108mpbs speed. But it doesn't mention anything about wep. Does every router come with wep? Does speed matter? And will that router work with my Wii? This is the page I found it on. www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10080889&catid=19994 Edit: I've picked my router, it's a Trendnet TEW-432BRP wireless router http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetai...076&catid=19994 Now my main focus is : Can I still surf the internet on my computer, while my Wii is connected to my router which is connected to the modem? |

It would probably be better to get the official nintendo wi-fi service thing since my router doesn't work with my wii or DS you might not either. Speed I think does matter. And WEP is just the password encodement or something like that. |

I have wireless internet and use a Dlink router. I've only Wi-Fi'd with pokemon battle revolution so far but I've used it with my DS and been able to fight real-time battles with Metroid Prime Hunters and Custom Robo so I think you shouldn't have any problem. Go ahead and get that D-link. Also, try to wait longer than 20 minutes for a response <_<; We're a small board. |

You have a computer. You have a Wii. Buy the Nintendo WiFi Adapter. Plugs into your computer, no complicated stuff, and its cheaper. I bought one back for the DS. Not REALLY useful back then but now with all the WiFi adaptable games coming I'm glad I have something I know will work. |

Be like us, get the WiFi Adapter. It's better if you just need wireless internet for your NDS and Wii. It's cheaper also, like Sabata2 said, but be sure to check your computer's compatibility with the Adapter on Nintendo's Official Site before you buy it. |

I disagree, I was able to get my Dlink wireless router for $20, which is 20 cheaper than the dongle. When buying routers, stay away from Linksys, look for Dlink, or if you can spare the cash, Net Gear. |

I already have the Wifi Dongle, but I have to turn off my firewall to use it. I'm getting trendnet TEW-432BRP Wireless G router for 55$ soon. |
