There's a way to recover those, and save em. But, I'm really sure how it's done. >> |

Whereever Firefox stores all its local data in your installation (For me it's [User's home folder]/mozilla/firefox/fif0y55l.default/), back all those files up. Replace them. Though some stuff might break from version to version. |

Complain to the Mozilla people. Since it doesn't do that to me, but it might be the version you're using. You might be using a Windows version or Apple or something, consult their website. etc etc. I'm sure there is a way to fix this. Try this: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Lost+Bookmarks http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting |

It also doesn't help that you're not telling us which version of Firefox you have, nor what type of OS you're using it on. How can people help with you just saying "OMG FIREFOX BROKE AGAIN" and cursing at every post when you could be giving details? But have you checked the Options? There could be some option that's being told to do that. My Firefox has never done that to me, so I can't say either way. If nothing works, then just politely ask Mozilla what the issue is, because I'm sure they get plenty of e-mails about it since I've heard about this case before. Of course, you could also just look up your problems on Google, you can usually find help topics from people who had the same problems in the past. |
