Glare from sunlight is killer on the DS. I find it help to turn the brightness up if you're on a Lite. Another thing you could do is hold the DS above your head, so sunlight hits the sensor from the other side.

I play using the top screen of my DS. I've never really had a problem with it at all, except maybe a bit of glare.

No$GBA. Supports the solar sensor, runs faster than VBA, and works better than any other DS emulator I've encountered... What? Don't give me that look! I can't afford games!

You can't afford a five-year-old game on a seven-year old system? You could probably buy both the cartridge and the system for about $10.

You could probably buy the game and system for $10, but that would constitute a very crappy game cartridge and a original GameBoy Advance. If you're willing to play at least $10 for the game and maybe $30-50 for a GBASP (depending on condition), then you're set.

Personally, I'm playing this on a DS lite, while waiting for my Famicom GBA Micro to arrive.

I play on the bottom screen of my DS Lite at maximum brightness and put the top screen up so that it creates a shadow over the bottom screen but doesn't actually obstruct the solar sensor

You are all a bunch of fools!!

Just play outdoors and use a mirror under your DS, kid!

And good luck!
