for the story, look in the registration :P

Lazarus had been searching for weeks now, but to no avail. The other pieces to the solar gun were either well hidden or destroyed. The ruins of his former home were a depressing site, but he had no time for mourning. If there was to be an end to this madness, it would require more than just the efforts of one man, Regardless, he couldn't help but sigh as he came upon the pile of rubble that used to be the clock tower. Leaning up against one of the few remaining walls, he began to drift out of consciousness.

I hope I can join with this character:

Name: Nailah "Wolfheart"

Gender: Female

Species: Lykanthrop (born); Wolf

Age: 16

Appearance: <Human> Nailah is a bit smaller but more athletic looking than an average person her age but her short, white hair and leave-green eyes make her outstanding in a group of people. She wears a brown shirt and 3/4 pants which both seem to be made out of cotton but if looked closer at they appear to be out of one piece and not sewn thus resulting in a smooth surface. Her youthful and kind appearance and facial features are contradicted by a strong wildness in her eyes.
<Wolf> Because of the law of mass Nailah has the same weight in her wolf form as in her human form thus she is much bigger and heavier than any ordinary wolf. Her fur has the same white colour as her hair and instead of her green eyes she know has amber-coloured ones. Despite this she appears to be a regular wolf.
<Hybrid> In her hybrid form Nailah still has white fur but she her left eye is green and her right amber. Also she stands on two legs and her front paws have five fingers with claws instead of four like in her wolf form.

Weapon(s): <Human> Nailah is an expert in martial arts and uses her whole body in combination with her great physical strenght and stamina to beat her enemies. She also uses her dexterity, speed and body control to avoid attacks and so make up for the lack of armor.
<Wolf> In her wolf form Nailah uses her fangs, claws and her greater speed due to her four legs as weapons to take down her prey. Her tactic is to use her body as a ram to knock the enemies down and then to tear them to shreds with her fangs and claws.
<Hybrid> Her hybrid form is probably the most dangerous of them all since she is able to use her fighting styles of her other two forms to their maximum without any drawbacks.

Unique Abilities: As a lykanthrop Nailah has an improved self-regenerating ability far beyond human capabilities. Also her senses, especially hearing and smelling, are much better than a humans and she is able to see with a minimum of light, although she still requires at least a bit of light, she can't see in complete darkness. She was famous in her clan for her ability to shapeshift in a split of a second while others need several seconds to do so. Thanks to the lykanthropy her physical strenght, stamina, dexterity and speed are greater than any normal human could achieve and her skin is harder to penetrate. When changing to her wolf or hybrid form she gains another boost on her regeneratiion abiliy, her strenght, stamina and speed and because of the fur its even harder to wound her but she loses the ability to speak and to understand mechanics which require more attention than just turning a wheel. She has a strong allergy against silver which drains her strenght and stops her regeneration while she is in contact with it. Also weapons made of silver are able to penetrate her skin and fur like a hot knife butter. The clothes Nailah is wearing are enchanted in order to melt with her body when she shapeshifts, this way she doesn't have to take them of in order to change. Since lykanthropy is a "corrupted" version of the Undeadening and Dark Matter, Nailah can't be turned undead while she's alive and she can purify most undead through her lykanthropy. As beings of the night lykanthrops powers depend on the moon: during full moon their powers are at their greatest while during new moon they become extremly weak. As one who spent her whole life in the forest she is also skilled in hiding, sneaking and tracking down tracks both scent and footprings.

Background: Nailah was born into the wolf clan of the lykanthrops therefore her name "Wolfheart". It symbolizes that she is a wolf. Since the whole clan is family Nailah was never alone and always secure. From her family she learnt the ways of the animals and of the humans. Just like other humans the lykanthrops watched the battle between the living and the Immortals and they also placed their hope of ridding the world of this unnatural menace on the son of the great vampire hunter. When Django joined forces with Dainn all lykan clans prepared to join the battle against the undead..... It happened too fast. In one night Nailahs entire clan was wiped out. Her memories of that night are incomplete the only thing she can remember is seeing a vampire with a crimson scarf which is also his wings. Later she found out that the vampire had been the traitorous solar boy Django. With his figure and scent engraved into her memory she set out to find a way to stop the undeadening and avenge her clan.

Nailah reached the outskirts of San Miguel or to be more precise: the ruins of San Miguel. What a deserted place. And this was called the "City of the Sun"? She had to admit that it once was a beautiful city, probably. A wind blow came through the streets, carrying the stench of dead, undead and dust, nothing unexpected. Nailah frowned, there was another scent which shouldn't be there. She concentrated and held her nose into the wind. There! That was definitly a human scent. Nailah shivered. How could someone survive in this city?, she asked herself. Since her curiosity had always been bigger than her caution, she entered the ruin city following the small scent of live in this pested air.

Lazarus awoke suddenly to the faint sound of footsteps approaching his position. As he reached for his gun, he realized that he felt the slightest hint of hope. Is it possible that something is still alive in this god forsaken place? As he thought, he realized the sounds were getting closer by the second. It was clear whatever this was knew where he was somehow. Instead of his usual stealth approach, he decided to face this on head on. As soon as the footsteps got close enough, he whipped around the corner, gun drawn and ready to fire.

Nailah made her way to the source of the scent, carefully avoiding the Undead patrols on her way. When she reached what previously used to be the market square she could pinpoint the source of the scent to be behind a pile of rubble. She closed in and noticed the sound of regular breathing, like someone who was half-asleep. Sleeping in a place like this? Either this guy has guts or he's tired of his life. She approached slowly the corner of the last remaining wall when she realized why she was feeling so uneasy: the rythm of the breathing had changed and she could hear the faint shouffling of cloth and movement. Whoever was there, he was awake and moved, no, he's aware of my presence! Just as that thought crossed her mind a boy taller than herself with white hair and red eyes, wearing a white trench coat over a black armor with dark red grooves on it's surface whipped around the corner of the wall. He pointed a strange gun directly at her head, ready to fire.

Nailah's instinct and reflexes made her act before she could think of anything. Her left hand shot for, slapping the gun to the her left while dogding to the right with her body. She then drove her right elbow into her opponents stomach, at least that was her intention. Wha-? How can he move so fast with an armor?

Lazarus hesitated for only an instant when he saw the source of the footsteps was a human, but that seemed to be enough time for this woman to strike. With that speed and strength, there's no way this is a human! His hesitation didn't prevent him from avoiding the blow, if only by a hair, but it was clear this... thing... would require quite a bit more effort to survive against than your typical undead. However, something about this creature seemed... familiar. Wait... She's a hybrid too... but not of a vampire...
With this thought, he immediately stepped back and raised his arms, more a sign of peace than surrender.

Nailah waited for the counterattack after he dogded her blow... but it didn't come. She looked up to see that that guy had stepped back and raised his arms. She relaxed a bit and bowed her head and looked to the ground, she wanted to Idiot!!! He's a human, there's no way he knows the body language of a wolf. She quickly stood straight again, somehow managed to smile and said: "Sorry, you surprised me with your sudden appearance." While speaking she memorized his scent and that irritated her. He was human, she could hear his heart and feel the warmth of his body, and at the same time he emitted the scent of death. Not the stench of normal death but a static, unchanging smell, just like a vampire... It mixed with his human scent that's way she didn't notice earlier. Before she could stop herself her voice dropped a nuance and she said "By the way... What are you?!?" The last three words were accompanied by a growling which slipped past her throat. Great, show him that you're a monster in the eyes of humans!, she scolded herself. A faint noise down the street immeaditly caught her attention and her head turned instantly in the direction of the sound. Howling, a gravekeeper. Slurfing, boks. Bones? Skeletons. Her lips moved as she counted in her mind. 1 gravekeeper, 2 skeletons, 3, 4, no 8 boks... ! They caught our scent! She spun around, jumped past the boy, grabbed his hand and dragged him with her. "We'll talk later. Let's get out of here!" They had to hide before more Undead got awaire of their presence.

Lazarus was certainly caught off guard by this persons strange demeanor, even more so when she began growling at him. [/i]Ah, so it's some kind of beast then...[/i] Just as he was preparing to respond, she grabbed his arm and began to run. What is she... Oh! how did I not notice them?! There were several undead around, and the fact that she became aware before he did irritated him. As they were running, he found he actually had to struggle to keep up. She was fast, but relied far too much on instinct. "HEY! Stop running! There's not even 20 of them. Geez, with two hybrids like us, there's no way these things could survive." Just as he finished saying this, he realized he just gave away his secret. dammit!! I really hope she responds well to this...

While running Nailah realized she actually had to drag him, she had expected since he dogded her blow that he'd be able to keep her pace.

His words irritated her. So, he noticed them to? And their numbers? But his last sentence was the most irritating: Two hybrids like us... So he noticed that I'm not human. The puzzle was completed. So he's a vampire-human-hybrid... If someone had told her that before this whole mess she would have laughed at him but ever since that happened to Django it wasn't so unimaginable anymore. If it worked once, why not again? She turned her head to respond to him when she noticed the building: it had two floors, barickades in front of the door and a sign reading INN. The last hideout of the citizens? She changed her course and pushed her companion through the door and entered herself. Pushing him against the part of the wall beside the door she concentrated on the sounds of their followers. She allowed herself to smile. How fortunate that Undead are so dumb. They lost us. She could finally concentrate her full attention to her companion. "Hybrid, huh? Well, you could call me one, and it definitly explains why you smell like a vampire." She relaxed her grip on him and backed of a step remembering something. "How rude of me," she said with a smile, "my name's Nailah and who are you?" He couldn't be a vampire too long since she could tell that he wasn't much older than her... And she hated it. He was probably the same age but he was almost two heads bigger!

"The name's Lazarus, and I guess I should thank you, given your intentions." He sighed as he dusted off his cloak. All the dirt he kicked up on the way here seemed to want to cling to his coat. "Yes, I am part vampire, but don't lump me in with those psychopaths. They ruined my life, and I'm out for revenge, but there are more pressing matters. I've found the sola..." He stopped abruptly as he reached towards his side. The solar gun pieces he had been hiding under his coat were gone. "No! Where did it go? We must have dropped it while we were running! We can't let the undead get it!" He immediately burst out the door into the street, mentally retracing his steps to try and find the gun, which proved to be a harder task than he originally thought. San Miguels streets and alleyways were no longer easily recognized, after all.

He surprised her when he jumped up and burst out the door back to the streets which they had just escaped. "Hey, wait! Fool, what are you doing!!!" Her first impulse was to go out and drag him back but then she shook her head. If he wants to get killed so badly I shouldn't stop him. Her decision lastet less than a second before it was torn down by her curiousity. Damn it, what did he find that's so important that it's not allowed into the hands of the Undead? "Wait up!", Nailah yelled when she ran after him, realizing that they both would attract every Undead within a mile if they continued this. "What are we looking for?", she asked after catching up to him, which wasn't so hard. "You're impossible", she sighed. She jumped and in her mind let out her breath. She felt the fur spreading out of every pore of her skin, her teeth grew and her hands turned into four-clawed paws, the tail grew and the world changed around her: The distance became a bit blurry but the colours more shining, everything was brighter and the scent of the whole city increased in intensity. Even faint sounds became almost painful audible for example the pulse of her companion beside her. The wolf landed and instantly leaped forward again. The sound of splitting bones became audible when she crushed the head of the skeleton which came up behind a wall with her jaw.

Lazarus first gasped in surprise at his companions transformation, but tried not to let it obscure his judgment. As the skull of the skeleton crunched beneath her, Lazarus became aware of the undead that were quickly closing in on them How could I have been so stupid? Of course the noise would attract the undead here! He immediately drew his gun and fired, his instincts guiding his aim to the head of a bok coming around the corner. He eagerly awaited the appearance of the next creature foolish enough to come within view of him. "You probably won't believe this, but I found parts to the Gun Del Sol! I'm afraid I dropped them while we were running, though."

Nailah let off of her enemy and tackled the gravekeeper which jumped at Lazarus back. She would love to respond to his statement but in this form she was unable to speak the human language. Her teeth dug into the gravekeepers flesh and although the blood filling her maw was making her ecstatic but she had to pay attention to the other Undead approaching. 1 gravekeeper, 1 skeleton and 1 bok down, leaves us with 1 skeleton and 7 boks. Great. Lazarus statement started to reach her brain, another drawback: the meaning of human words needed awhile to become clear for her if she was distracted. Sol del Gun? No, Gun del Sol! The legendary anti-vampire weapon used by Ringo and Django! As she understood this she knew why it was so important to prevent it of dropping into the hands of the Undead. If we can retrieve this we'll have a chance against Dainn and Django!

Lazarus ducked to allow Nailah to leap over him, and shot at the 3 boks coming around the corner from his prone position. He immediately turned and shot the skeleton that thought it could sneak up on them. Dammit, if only I'd had more time to rest! At this rate, I'm not gonna be able to keep myself from changing! Before he could finish thinking, 2 more boks could be seen out of the corner of his eye. I only have about 3 shots left! I gotta make these count. He leaped onto a small pile of rubble, giving himself the small boost he needed to get onto a rooftop that somehow managed to still be intact. From here, he leaped over the boks, firing a charged blast from his gun, large enough to take out both boks. As he landed, he tried to maintain his balance, but was weakened by the energy he used in the fight. He got down on one knee, using the little strength strength he had left.

Nailah saw Lazarus finishing of the last skeleton and 5 of the remaining boks. Nice gun. And he knows how to use it. She noticed that something wasn't right: although he hadn't been injured or hit he was having troubles staying on his feet. Jumping over him she knocked down the bok who thought Lazarus was easy prey. She knew she hadn't had the time to kill this one and the other approaching from behind before it could strike at Lazarus. Turning on top of the bok she used the force of jumping of it to crush it's head with her hind paws. Just as she had thought the bok spat it's liquid Klorofolun at Lazarus. This is gonna hurt. At the height of her jump her body shielded Lazarus from the Klorofolun. Nailah yellped at the pain but finished her jump on top of the bok, she then separated the boks head from its shoulders by biting through its neck. She then turned around lowered her head and using it as a lever, heaved Lazarus onto her back. Then she jumped on the roof which Lazarus had used to pull of his last stunt.

Lazarus relaxed once they were on the rooftop. It seemed Nailah had saved him once again. "I guess I have to thank you again." He placed his gun in the holster at his side and carefully stood up. "I think I'll just..." At that instant, a shadow flew across the sky, landing a short distance from the inn they were previously at before. "No! It's one of the immortals! We can't let him get the solar gun!" He couldn't sit by and do nothing, despite his state of weakness. If he needed to transform in order to protect the gun, he would. With adrenaline pumping through his body, he ran off in the direction of the immortal.
