Well let me tell my story first...

It started when my cousin got me into the Battle Network Franchise when he'd showed me BN3 White.
I saw the new Megaman series to be cool and some time later i rented a copy of the newest version at that time, being BN4 Red Sun. LOl "Sun", talk about foreshadowing...

So anyway..., as i was playing through the game, i got to the part when Lan goes on a date with Mayl/Maylu/Meiru (whatever you prefer) and goes to the Haunted house of some kind and talks about a tale about Django The Solar Boy and saving the princess from a Vampire named Dracky or something (my memory a bit vague here, haven't played the game in years). After that you fight Shademan and blah blah blah then megaman gets dark soul and yadda yadda yadda (sparing you the details). I found it weird that later i found out there was a battle chip based on the story (gunsol 1 i found when i went back)so that left an impression.but didn't think too deep into it.

Later when i was near the end of the main storyline of the game i was able to access this area called the UnderNet (some name there) and just received the gunsol 2 chip which reminded me of everything beforehand and then exploring i found out of the blue Django and Otenko. I was shocked that the story was based on an actual person in the Megaman EXE universe. Anyway i did the sidequest Django offered and saw Shademan get Piledrivered (if that counts as a word) and obtained Gunsol 3 as a reward and now i was able to do the Piledriver PA (the gunsol BC became my personal favorite chips to use from then on out). Oh and Django left by saying his traditional
"The Sun will rise Tomorrow" and Otenko Traditional "May the Sun be with You".
I became a fan of the character ever since.

Now how I Discover THE GAME was some time after...

I was at a friend house and he showed me that his cousin installed an emulator and roms of a bunch of games. So being ecstatic and all, I check each game to see how they were and one of those faithful games read Boktai 2 so unfamiliar with the title I went to see how it was and to my shock I found out the character you play as was Django, the same Django i saw in BN4.I was like "OMG, he has his own videogame ?!" Then i noticed that the game works with actual sunlight and I kept thinking that this game keeps getting cooler and cooler (though my friend thought the idea sounded gimmicky, but he was just complaining cause his rom of the game didn't had the sunlight patch). So after that i did some research online to learn more about boktai and i found out that a DS game of Boktai was coming out. So I preordered LK ,hunted, found and bought a used copy of Boktai 1 at EBGames ( for only$5.00). I later got a copy of Boktai 2 through Ebay and had gotten a rom of shinbok from a friend with an english patch since i can't read japanese and i wanted to understand and enjoy the story. Plannin to get a legit copy soon...

So anyway guys that my story on how i discover the Boktai Franchise and became a Huge Fan of this series and now a Member of Boktai Online. Hope you enjoyed my tale and didn't get bored from reading :-/ .
So now you know my story, how about telling me yours? Tell me your story; Long or Short, I'd love to hear it. If you have any questions fell free to ask. After all we're because of the one thing we share...
Our love for "OUR SUN"! :dnod:

Uhh... three years ago, I think, I got into the NT Warrior anime while I was in vacation in Algeria. My cousin liked to watch it, and I fell for it too, and notably ShadeMan, who was and still is my favourite character. Anyways, after that summer came grade eight, where I continued watching the anime, and I started researching it, and eventually found out about the games. Now, I don't know when did I learn about Boktai; it was definitely while I was reading Wikipedia articles on Battle Network, but I don't know when exactly. It was not until nineth grade where I got my first Battle Network game, Double Team DS. Naturally, the Gun Del Sol and Django Battle Chips were there, and I had known Django has his own video game from the Internet. Now, some time last year, when I was in grade ten, I went with my family to the city of Abu Dhabi, which is one hour and a half driving from our home in Dubai, and stopped at a shopping mall there. At a small electronics store, my brothers found a title called Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django and alerted me; I had told them a year earlier to stay on the look out for video games that feature Django, and that the series is called Boktai. Anyways, I purchased it and played it; I loved it instantaneously. It beared a few resemblances to Metal Gear Solid, but that's not the only reason why I liked it. The story, the gameplay, and evrything else, they were all just appealing to me; I distinctly remember reaching Jormungandr on the 30th of December, 2008, but had to wait for the next day to get the sunlight in order to defeat him; I also remember defeating ShadeMan on the 31st of December, but the clouds and fog blocked the setting sun away, and I again had to wait until the next day to purify him. It was the first Game Boy Advance game to addict me like that other than Mega Man Battle Network and Pokemon. Well, now I'm hoping to get the rest of the games...

Um, I saw that there was a Crossover Battle in the MMBN5 Colonel game with "Boktai" so I looked it up on the web and decided to buy it.
Seriously this place needs less stupidity.

I've got a friend that gives me videogames by the week, or he helps me out with my current videogame. Anyway, one day, while playing Megaman BattleNetwork Blue Moon, I was at the Dracky-ride, and I remembered a game my friend had given me- Boktai 2~Solar Boy Django~. I went to my mom's CD player, near our tv. I asked mom if I could look for a game that my friend had given me. She said OK. I looked all OVER for my game, and eventually found it. YA~Y! I turned it on. It said something about a solarsensor, and it said to "not play under strong sunlight for too long". So funny! ANYWAAAY... I started the game over, so I wouldn't be confused. I didn't get that far, because I stummbled on a problem. I brought it to church-dinner one night. My sister let me play her game, but I had to take out Boktai. I gave it to one of the people who was there. I haven't seen the game in almost three months. I watch things on Youtube about Boktai walkthrough, and I watch Boktai comercials. I look up info on Boktai, so when I get game one, I won't be too confused. I'm a huge fan, and I don't care if nobody in school knows about it! It'll be my own secret-we all need one, right?
