"... Okay." Shiba felt his eyes narrow as she whipped the book out of his hand (he liked to do things thoroughly), but she was a customer and it wasn't in his power to do anything about it. One last look at the magazine rack he gave, but it was picture-perfect and he had no excuse to stay there any longer. Hopefully the girl would buy something; a near-empty till wouldn't say much about himself.

He raised an eyebrow at the girl who appeared to be digging into the magazine like a starving man at a buffet. Her uniform spiked his interest further -- Seisou's unique western-influenced blazer and skirt, and by the looks of it, she was a second year (as justified from the color of her tie) from the music department.

Music, huh. The very thought of it sent him back to when it was just two little boys and a cello. I wonder what she plays.

"You're from Seisou." When in doubt (or in this case an awkward silence), Shiba had a tendency to state the obvious.
