 Though she'd hate to admit it, Ran felt a big sigh of relief escaping her lips when Suzume dumped that present into the trash. It might've seemed harsh, but Ran agreed to her friend's philosophy as well. Yet she will never have the courage herself to give Taro any of her presents. Now all Ran had to do was make up an excuse as to why the present wasn't transferred properly. My dog ate it. There was a big gust of wind and the present flew away. My brother thought it was for him and took it. Why she suddenly had a plethora of excuses, she would never find out.

"Even Katagiri knows better. Now...are we heading out or are we going to stand around?"

Ran nodded her head, signaling it was time for their take-off. The day wasn't waiting for them. "L-Let's go...," Ran peeped out, shuddering at the sudden leadership. Afterwards, she snuck behind Suzume's back and pushed her forward so she was the one leading the group.
