There will probably be characters that may be introduced, but are major characters in the RP (shop owners, teachers, etc...), so everyone can RP them. Just so that they're personalities and such aren't messed up, I've made this thread so everyone here knows what the characters are and how they act like. Feel free to post any profiles for those extra characters in this topic. If there are too many profiles, I'll move all of them into the '[reserved]' post that I have underneath this one.

NOTE: Only the one who introduces the character is allowed to post the profile. With the profile itself, try to be as detailed as possible, as unlike normal RP characters, who we ourselves can reveal stuff that wasn't mentioned in the profile, but with these characters, it's a lot harder to do that. After all, it's only the person who first introduced them who can do that expand and add stuff to their profile(s). If anyone has any questions on something about their character, please PM or find another way to contact them.

Here's the format for these characters profiles:

Code:

[b]Name:[/b]
[b]Age:[/b]
[b]Height:[/b]
[b]Profession:[/b]
[b]Appearance:[/b]
[b]Personality:[/b]
[b]Family:[/b]
[b]Other Relationships:[/b]
- anyone that they know in the RP
[b]Affiliation (aka First Introduced) and how?:[/b]
- Simply put: where were they first introduced? For example, if a Toho Gakuen student introduced them, like in my example, then they'd be affiliated with Toho. The only exception would be for people who really have nothing to do with the competition, as in they don't know anyone personally in the RP.
[b]Bio:[/b]
[b]Anything interesting that you'd like to mention?[/b]

Here's my example (he's already been introduced in the RP; also, I have the profile in Western Format -- first name, last name; if you use Asian format, please let all of us know somehow.):

Name: Masanobu Hirasaku
Age: 24
Height: 5'11"
Profession: Owner of the Kawasaki Music Store
Appearance: He has shoulder-length red hair, which he has tied back with a black hair tie in a low pony tail. His bangs barely reach the top of his golden colored eyes, so he can still clearly see out of them. He usually wears semi-casual outfits, consisting of a button-up shirts (which are usually white), beige pants, and black shoes. He always leaves the top three buttons unbuttoned, so his black undershirt is visible. For accessories, he wears a small loop earring on his left ear and a silver necklace of a crescent moon. He also used to wear glasses, but he got laser eye surgery within the last year, so he doesn't need those or even contacts.
Personality: He's generally a pretty nice and calm guy, who's usually pretty polite, and has a decent temper tolerance. When it comes to music, he'll help anyone in need of it, because he is so resourceful with it. He's also pretty outgoing and is quite the charming guy.
Family: Mother, Father (deceased), Younger Sister (Reina, age 19)
Parents: He was close to the both of them, but ever since the accident and his father passed away, both he and Reina have drifted apart from their mother. Ever since then, she's just busied herself with her work, which she a fashion designer, and completely ignoring her two children.

Reina: The two of them have had a rivalry for the longest time as they were both aiming to become professional musicians. Because of that, they weren't exactly close either. Since Masanobu was a prodigy and she wasn't, she knew she had to work twice as hard to get to him. In that sense, she was in the same position the Kazuha is with Haruka. But, after he got into that accident, things changed. Reina had always taken music for granted, but after what happened, that opened her eyes. Seeing her brother's dream shattered, made her work even harder than ever, as now she can truly understand how easily something that she's had in her whole life, could be taken away in a second... just like what happened to her brother. That event brought the two of them closer and he's now her inspiration to become a professional musician.

Other Relationships:
Kazuha and Haruka Takemoto: He knows the two of them because they used to play duets in the store quite often before Haruka left for Europe. He gets along pretty well with these two and is friends with both of them. But of course, he doesn't really see either of them because he's usually busy with work in the store.
Affiliation and how?: Toho Gakuen, because the store is located in the same city as Toho.
Bio: Masanobu's family has owned the Kawasaki Music Store for the past five generations and he's the youngest one in the family to become the owner of the store at the age of 22. At a first glance, he definitely doesn't look like the owner of a large music store, but... in reality, he's quite serious about his job and he does it quite well. The store itself has always been successful, but every since he became owner, it's just gotten even more popular. That's probably because of his looks and his charming personality; if it's not that, then it's his extensive amount of knowledge with music, which is quite the disturbing amount.

To be completely honest, he actually is a music prodigy himself and he would have gone to become a professional musician as he knew how to play three instruments -- violin, cello, and flute. But, three years ago, he got into a terrible traffic accident which completely shattered his right shoulder. That's the very reason why he became the owner at such a young age -- because of that accident. That very accident was where his father was killed. Though he did recover from it, he can no longer lift his right arm all that much because he has a very limited range of motion in that shoulder. In turn, he can no longer become a professional musician. Even though he wishes that he could be one, he doesn't let his experience burden him. It's also the reason why he hates it when people say that they wanna give up just because they're struggling and tries to help them the best he can.

Anything interesting that you'd like to mention? He's fluent in three languages -- Japanese, English, and French.

[I've got more to add, but I'll add it later~]

Name: Tamura Mayumi
Age: 15
Height: 5’4
Profession: Student, Music Department, Seiso Gakuen

Appearance: Mayumi is graced with a willowy figure, pale ivory skin, long dark hair, and soft brown, almond-shaped eyes. Her hair is normally up in a ponytail because, as a flutist, it can get in the way when she plays. Sometimes, though, she will let it down for comfort purposes. Her overall appearance gives off the impression of innocent beauty and grace. As for clothing, she wears the cream blazer and dark grey pleated skirt of the typical Seiso music student most of the time, with a blue bow at her neck to show that she is a first-year. When she wears clothes outside of school, she goes for the elegant yet casual look. She can often be seen wearing knee-length skirts or nice-looking pants (either dress pants or a good pair of jeans) combined with a stylish, fitted top. She never likes looking shabby or like she just rolled out of bed, so you’ll never see her in ripped jeans, sweatpants or sweatshirts, or anything that doesn’t fit well.

Personality: Mayumi seems to strike a balance between being an introvert and an extrovert. While not overly bubbly or outgoing, she’s not afraid to speak to people and makes friends easily. Still, she isn’t one to go to parties or to volunteer to do anything in front of a crowd of people. As a result, Mayumi is rather calm and dignified and also very kind and polite. She is respectful to everyone she meets, but consequently, she can’t seem to be able to say anything bad to anyone. She’ll think them, yes, but she can’t say them. She’s a fairly passive person and would rather stay out of someone’s way than speak up against them. Overall, she has a positive disposition and believes that everyone has good in them, even if they don’t always show it. She’s also an encouraging friend and supports all her loved ones the best she can.

Family: Tamura Kenji (father, 45), Tamura Yasako (mother, 40), Tamura Kayo (older sister, 18), Tamura Hikaru (older brother, 17), Tamura Satomi (younger sister, 10)

Kenji (father, 45): An accounting manager at a large business. He works often and is usually not home because he works overtime a lot, but he does love his family and tries to support them. However, since he’s not home that often, none of his children are particularly close to him, although they do know they love him, too.

Yasako (mother, 40): Because her husband is often not around, she does her best to spend time with her children, making dinner and making sure they complete their chores and do well in school. She works as a piano teacher from their home (as in, her students come to her at pre-scheduled times). She was the one who instilled a love for music in her children and taught Mayumi the basics of music theory. As a result, Mayumi is quite close to her and, because Mayumi seems to be the most musical child, Yasako somewhat favours her over the others (though, in her defense, she tries to be fair).

Kayo (older sister, 18): A first year college student majoring in business. Like her father, she works very hard and gets the best grades out of all her siblings. She graduated top of her class in high school. She’s somewhat serious and stern, and isn’t particularly close to Mayumi, especially now that she is living away at school. She seems to be much closer to Satomi.

Hikaru (older brother, 17): A third-year high school student. He’s a lot less serious than Kayo and is more of a joker, though he still manages to get good grades. He plays the piano and a bit of guitar, but his skill level is nowhere close to his mother’s or Mayumi’s. He’s very encouraging to Mayumi, though, and they’re pretty close. Currently, he is unsure of what he wants to do after he graduates.

Satomi (younger sister, 10): The youngest Tamura sibling. Her mother is currently trying to teach her the piano, although Satomi’s restless personality makes it difficult to keep her on the piano bench for longer than five minutes. Mayumi finds Satomi somewhat of an annoyance, especially since Satomi seems to be very fascinated with her older sister’s shiny flute.

Other Relationships:
Fuyuumi Shouko: Mayumi and Shouko share the same small circle of friends. Because they are both quiet, polite, kind, and interested in classical music, they became friends fairly quickly, although Shouko’s reserved personality made it a little difficult at first. They met a few years ago in junior high and since then have been very close.

Affiliation (aka First Introduced) and how?:
Seiso Gakuen. She is a first-year music student there and a friend of Fuyuumi Shouko.

Bio: Mayumi comes from a rather normal, if somewhat crowded, upper-middle-class family. Her mother, a piano teacher, ensured all her children were taught music. Mayumi was perhaps the one who responded best to her mother’s music lessons and, at the age of seven, she took up the flute as her instrument of choice. On the side, Mayumi is also a proficient pianist and vocalist.

Although she has a lot to live up to, with four siblings to “compete” with, she seems to take it all in stride. She works hard to get good grades in school (still, they’re not nearly as good as Kayo’s), though she doesn’t overdo anything, and she practices her skills on the flute when she gets the chance. She dreams of becoming a famous performing flutist or, if that doesn’t work out, perhaps a music teacher.

As such, she (along with her friend, Shouko) became determined to make it into Seiso’s prestigious music program. Although not quite as good as Shouko, Mayumi’s skills were enough to impress the examiners there and she made it in. Her weak point, they said, was that she lacked some precision in her technique and she’d have to work a little harder to catch up to some of the other top-notch flutists at the school; however, her ability to express the music in such graceful and dynamic ways was very admirable.

On another note, Mayumi is quite the admirer of the infamous Yunoki Azuma – the handsome and charming third-year flutist. Not only does she admire his good looks and seemingly kind and polite personality, she also aspires to be as good as the flute as he is and someday make it into the concours. Her own personality, however, stops her from showing any overt signs of her admiration and, thus, only her close friends really know of her secret crush.

Anything interesting that you'd like to mention? Her favourite subjects are history and Japanese. Her least favourite subjects are math and science (with the odd exception of physics, which she seems to have a bit of a knack for). She is also a member of the chess club.

Name, Age: Rei, 19
Do you play an instrument? If yes, which one and for how long? Used to...wish I still did. Flute. Eight years, I think...
How often will you be able to role-play? Probably very often as I don't have much of a life. Depends on school...when it comes back around, at least.

Character Name: Nomiya Takeshi
Age: 16
Sex: Male
School: Senzoku Gakuen
Instrument: French horn

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
Appearance:

HEIGHT: 5'4"
HAIR: soft, blonde, messy
EYES: blue
BUILD: slender
OTHER: Takeshi is short for his age and he is rather sensitive about his lack of height. In fact, mention of his height is one of the few things that can annoy this usually even-tempered boy. He keeps his soft blonde hair messy mostly because he can't be bothered to tidy it. Because he is small and slim with a soft, gentle face, his overall appearance is rather feminine and he is often made fun of. He is the sort of person who almost always wears his neat, cleanly pressed school uniform.
[PICTURE] [PICTURE] [PICTURE]

Personality:
LIKES: playing the French horn, reading/studying, being around his friends, most things cute and fuzzy (though he'd rather people didn't know that one), painting, learning new things
DISLIKES: people who tell him what to think, confrontation, meeting new people, being the center of attention, the spotlight, people making fun of him, liars, hypocrites, seeing his friends upset, anyone who hurts his friends, his height/appearance
FAVORITE SUBJECTS: chemistry, orchestra, psychology
LEAST FAVORITE SUBJECT: physics
GOALS: to gain self-confidence, become an elementary music teacher
FEARS: being hated, losing, rejection, spiders, insects, losing his friends, being in the spotlight, being in a leadership position, heights, being wrong
GOOD QUALITIES: Takeshi can be incredibly responsible. He always tries to think about how other people will react to what he does rather than simply doing things impulsively. Although it is very hard to gain his loyalty, once someone has it, it is a very hard thing to lose. He makes a point of not disliking people and of being loyal to his friends even if all the evidence is against them. He will do anything for those he cares about, even at the risk of his own well-being or reputation.
BAD QUALITIES: He wades in the extremely shallow end of the self-esteem pool. Because he has no confidence in himself, he doesn't notice how intelligent and talented he actually is and chooses to compare himself to others while focusing only on his negative qualities. He also doesn't realize how kind a person he is and stubbornly believes that he needs to 'fix' himself to become a better person. In fact, he will on occasion put his life on hold to help someone else, even if it happens to be someone who hates him. But don't take him for a saint: even he realizes that he does it all for selfish reasons and that he is an incredibly selfish and stubborn person.
OTHER: Takeshi is too kind for his own good. He is also too stubborn for his own good.

Completely ignorant of his good qualities, he spends his life focusing on his bad qualities even to the point of creating flaws that don't exist. He realizes how selfish a person he is and because of that feels as though he is a 'bad' person. He is determined to become a 'good' person who dedicates his life to helping other people. Even then, he feels like he's doing something wrong because he wants to help for selfish reasons. It's an endless cycle.

He hasn't realized yet, though, that he has spent the majority of his time doing things for others, even for those who might not show him the most kindness (to put it lightly). Because he is so intent on making others happy, he stubbornly dislikes no one and is constantly trying to find the good qualities of everyone he meets, even those who bully him. That isn't to say that their flaws are invisible to him, he just chooses to ignore them. He is no saint, he realizes this. He does not try to be a saint. He knows that everything he does to help people is for the selfish reasons that he is deathly afraid of being hated and wants them all to like him.

Takeshi goes through his days in a sort of lethargy. The things he loves, he puts his whole heart into. But those things are so few and far between that he spends most of his time staring absently into space and thinking or with his face burried in a book. Because he likes to think things through before taking action, he often comes across as slow to others. Quite possibly, he is a bit slow. He doesn't often notice things and will trip on them as he walks along and it won't be until after he's standing and on his way again that he'll realize what happened.

Although he can come across as annoyingly kind, Takeshi has a hidden side. He is secretly envious, selfish, cynical, and outlandishly stubborn yet this hidden side is also confident, honest, and somewhat carefree. He doesn't often show this side to others unless he is extremely comfortable with a person and only very few even know of its existence. The one time that it really comes out for the rest of the world to see is when he is playing his French horn.

He is envious of his friends for being everything that he wants to be: strong and confident. He realizes that he depends on his friends a great deal and hates that part of himself. Yet a part of him also revels in the way that they help him, justifying it as proof that he is someone important enough in their lives to help; proof that he is someone special and not just a random face in the crowd that will be completely forgotten in only a few years' time.

Those with whom he is extremely comfortable can sometimes have a glimpse of Takeshi's hidden side. Although he usually keeps his thoughts and feelings to himself, with his instrument in hand his misgivings seem to give way. He laughs without holding back the way he normally would, he speaks and acts with more confidence and without much thought, and on the rare occasion he will allow an undertone of sarcasm to run beneath his usually quiet, serene voice.

Music opens a completely different world for Takeshi, allowing him to express himself in a way that he can't find the words to do. His feelings toward music are apparent in the fact that his playing style is incredibly honest.
History:
Takeshi's twin brother, Satoshi, has cast a shadow over Takeshi since they were young. He has always been the louder and more outgoing twin who used to speak for his brother when they were younger and attended the same school. Without much effort, Satoshi excelled in everything he tried be it athletics, academics, or the arts. Their parents, proud people that they are, have always focused on Satoshi's achievements, often pushing Takeshi to the side. Having always lived in the shadow of his brother and with the expectations of his parents, he grew up with little to no self-confidence and has even convinced himself that he deserves to remain in his brother's rather large shadow.

While Takeshi was still in elementary school, his parents divorced. He took news of the event much harder than Satoshi who claimed to have seen it coming since their parents were essentially polar opposites. And then came the custody battle which his mother openly admitted that she lost. Both parents fought for custody of Satoshi but in the end Satoshi went with their father and Takeshi with their mtoher.

Eventually, both parents remarried and both his stepmother and stepfather brought children of their own into the families so Takeshi had to become reaccustomed to being a sibling. Not that it took much effort as he was, again, quickly tossed into the shadows of stepsiblings who were constantly afforded praise for their talents.

Takeshi's father introduced him to music when he was very young. Because of his mother, he was introduced early on to the world of science as well. He knows what he wants to do with his life, but he loves the sciences all the same. Originally, Takeshi was enrolled in Senzoku's science program but within a few weeks, he realized that his passions lay elsewhere and he transferred into the music department although he is still relatively active in the sciences. His transfer is another reason that he often gets bullied.

Because of his family situation, Takeshi is of the firm belief that love is not unlimited and unconditional as people like to believe. This feeling translates into the way he interacts with the other students: distancing himself from the majority and allowing himself to get close with only a few. It is almost as though he is afraid of running out of love to give to his friends. Those somewhat backward ideas are also reflected in the kindness he shows to others: he just wants to feel loved.

Relationships:
-Miura Nao-Takeshi's mother, a 41-year-old chemical engineer. She is a proud woman who openly shows her feelings. And some of those feelings are that she would have much preferred custody of Satoshi (not Takeshi) after the divorce.
-Kanbara Ichiro-Takeshi's stepfather. He is a 50-year-old doctor who thinks that Takeshi's love of music is a complete waste of time. He greatly disapproves of Takeshi playing the French horn and lets it be known that he thinks his stepson is a failure.
-Nomiya Takuya-Takeshi's father and a 42-year-old jazz musician who plays the trombone. He lives relatively far away and does not often -- if ever -- contact Takeshi.
-Igarashi Yuki-Takeshi's stepmother and a 39-year-old freelance artist. She is very supportive of his love for music but greatly disapproves of his fondness for the sciences.
-Nozawa Yoshiro-18-Takeshi's stepbrother. Since Yoshiro is currently in college and rarely ever home and Takeshi rarely visits his father's new family, the two have only met a few times.
-Kanbara Michiru-17-Takeshi's stepsister who is enrolled in Senzoku Gakuen's science department despite her incredible musical talent. To the outside world she is kind, pretty, and popular, but she is also incredibly cunning and manipulative. That is a side she only shows to Takeshi who is one of the few people she views as an equal. Like Takeshi, she has a love of music and is active in the school's music program. Although she is on good terms with her stepbrother, she often makes fun of him and rarely ever reaches out a helping hand.
-Nomiya Satoshi-16-Takeshi's twin who has overshadowed him all their lives. He is gifted in academics, arts, and athletics. Overall, this is the much favored twin. Currently, he lives with their father and attends Seiso as a General Education student where he is a member of the soccer team. Although Takeshi loves his brother, he also honestly envies him almost to the point of hatred. Despite that, they are very close and seek each others' company every chance they get. Satoshi also plays the alto saxophone...
-Nozawa Shion-14-Takeshi's stepsister who lives with his father. She is one of the few people in their family that Takeshi gets along with wholeheartedly since she supports both his love of music and his love of the sciences. She is greatly influenced by her stepfather and, because of him, took up jazz flute.

-Yamada Yoko-She is Takeshi's long time friend and classmate. He greatly admires and looks up to her as both a person and a talented musician. He is grateful of the way that she helps him and feels as though he doesn't do enough for her, so he will go out of his way to find ways of helping her. Their personalities are very different and people often wonder why they're friends. Let them wonder, it's when they speak aloud that he becomes annoyed. Yoko is actually one of the few people he will get annoyed for and she is also one of the few people with who he will talk about his family life and to whom he will show his other side.

-Inoue Koji-He is Yoko's duet partner and a talented musician. He is another person who Takeshi greatly looks up to for being confident, intelligent, and talented.

-Minamoto Kyoshi-Takeshi's bully-number-one. Kyoshi is an extremely proud boy who is at Senzoku specifically for their excellent science program. During one of their first experiments in the basic level chemistry class, Kyoshi and Takeshi were paired as partners. That was how they met. Takeshi made the mistake of attempting to correct this particularly proud boy. Kyoshi, stubborn as he is, refused to listen and ended up setting the lab on fire. He blamed Takeshi for it. Since then, he has been Takeshi's worst bully who always searches for new ways of tormenting the boy.

-Tanaka Sakura-Although Takeshi doesn't know her very well, he did meet her once on the lunch line. The girl in front of her was in orchestra with him and had asked to borrow money (which he had lent to her despite the fact that she rarely spoke to him). She is a nice girl and is rather surprising. He isn't quite sure of his opinions on her at this point.

-Arai Momo-He knows her even less than he knows Sakura. He only knows her as Sakura's friend. Even Takeshi, usually so oblivious, has noticed that she doesn't seem to like him very much.

Sample RP:
Takeshi laughed as the last note evaporated into the air. He blinked a few times in the light as he lowered the horn from his face. Where was he again? What was he doing? Ah, that was right, it was orchestra class and they had spent all period practicing his solo. He had lost himself for a moment: it always took a few moments to reorient himself after he played.

"Nomiya-kun, that was beautiful," the teacher complimented. " But please look at the second key-change, Nomiya-kun. Don't move too fast for everyone else to keep up. It might also be better for you to slow down a bit: you're slurring over the sixteenth note runs. The ones in the middle are uneven."

Takeshi had been in a good mood, he had been happy while he had played and he knew that his happiness shone through. He had liked the way he had played and he wasn't willing to change it. "I'm sorry, sir," he began. Out of the corner of his blue eyes, he watched the second hand of the clock tick by. "It would lose its intensity if I went too much slower," he said. "And it's more fun this way. I can do it, sir; I can have those runs under my fingers by class tomorrow."

The teacher was not the only one who stared in confusion as the bell rang, signalling the end of the period, and the boy quickly disappeared behind the door at the back of the stage.

Takeshi hurried to the horn room before the crowd of rushed students formed. "That was brilliant. Definite kudos," a voice said from behind the boy. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was and finished putting away his unofficially designated school instrument back into its case. He tucked it away in the cubby with his name printed underneath it and stood up, finally turning to face the speaker.

His stepsister stood with her feet shoulder-width apart, twirling a pair of mallets expertly in her hands. "You were right to tell him off like that, Ta-kun. Those runs would drag on too much if you went any slower."

But the boy wasn't looking at her. He was examining the toe of his black shoes with great interest. "Do you think I stepped out of line? Should I apologize?" he asked nervously.

She smacked him none-too-gently atop his head with one of the mallets and Takeshi instantly looked up. They were the only ones in the room for the moment but that would quickly change. "Why should you apologize?" She placed her hands on her hips and shook her head in defeat. "I give up on you," she said, walking away.

Takeshi followed her through the quickly forming crowd. "Chiru-chan, do you think I should apologize?" he repeated worriedly.

He could tell from her expression that she wanted to hit him again but couldn't risk it while there were so many people around. Instead, she smiled sweetly and leaned forward to whisper darkly so that only he could hear: "Ta-chan, if there weren't so many people, I would stab you with the end of this mallet."

The two stood in awkward silence for a few moments longer before she ran her hands through her thick, dark hair and sighed in defeat. "Apologize if you want to," she advised.

His hands tugged nervously at a frayed thread at the end of his sleeve. "What if he doesn't accept my apology? Maybe it's too late to apologize, now. I was completely out of line, I shouldn't have said anything. And even if I can apologize, I can't go by myself..." he mumbled quietly. The girl sighed and sat on a nearby chair, crossing her legs and making herself comfortable. She would have to deal with his indecision until his next class. She had a good few minutes to wait.

This is the incomplete profile of the music teacher Tachibana Heiji (Ueno Gakuen). More information is still to be added, depending on how the rp advances. I posted this profile so that everyone at Ueno can rp him during advanced music class ^^ If you have any info to add (e.g. what relationship Tachibana has with your character, PM me and I will modify it).

Name: Tachibana Heji
Age: 37
Height: 5.90 ft. (1.80 m)
Profession: Teacher at Ueno Gakuen
Appearance: Tachibana Heiji has black, short hair and is comparatively tall among Japanese men. Not being the youngest anymore, his face already shows up several wrinkles and some strands of black hair already start to turn grey. He is always dressed very formally and needs reading glasses. Most students respect him, for he is notorious for difficult pop quizzes and strictness. Nevertheless, once you get to know him better, you will find out that he's a person you can easily get along with.

Personality: Even though many students consider Tachibana-sensei as a boring and strict teacher who doesn't understand any fun, he still tries his best to befriend his students. He is a teacher who sees many things other people don’t realize, especially when it comes to music. Heiji always wants to encourage his students to show more dedication to music and loves to talk philosophical gibberish. Once he starts talking, it is very difficult to stop the brilliant orator. He can be very short-tempered when he doesn't get enough sleep. Hence, most pop-quizzes are being written on days he suffers from the lack of sleep.

Family:
Tachibana Ryokka & Tachibana Yamato
Heiji was born as the only child of Tachibana Ryokka, a popular opera singer and Tachibana Yamato, a famous conductor. Ryokka often romanticizes her first encounter with Yamato at a concert in New York. Although they didn't befriend each other immediately, the two of them still ended up in front of the altar. They travelled from concert to concert in the past, but eventually decided to settle down because they wanted their little son Heiji to have a decent home. When Heiji was aged four, the little family moved to Germany due to Yamato's transfer to the Münchner Philharmoniker. They stayed for about ten years in Munich where Heiji attended middle school until 8th grade. Ryokka and Yamato are candid and cheerful persons who enjoy themselves no matter what they do. They are rather liberal and open to new things, unlike many other parents.

Other Relationships: to be continued after Tachibana-sensei meets more students in advanced music class

- Fujitani Kaede: She was his former student and he inspired her to become a teacher herself one day. Kaede is also the teacher in charge of the competition at Senzoku Gakuen.

- Hyuga Katsuo: Until now Heiji only knows Hyuga Katsuo as a talented student from class 2-A. Heiji does not rave as much about Katsuo's ingenious brother Senri as other teachers do, since he has never met the latter personally. Unlike other teachers who praise both Hyuga boys overwhelmingly at any given opportunity, Tachibana Heiji shows slight concerns about Katsuo's music. He has watched a few of Katsuo's performances and feels that the boy has something inside of him which "hinders him to unfold". Heiji senses that Katsuo is fighting with the piano instead of "playing" it.

Affiliation (aka First Introduced) and how?:
First introduced in "The Cantabile Melody". In this thread, he appears as Hyuga Katsuo's music teacher and invites the latter to his advanced music class which is later joined by several Ueno students.

Bio: As the son of a famous conductor and a not less famous opera singer, Heiji has early discovered his passion for music. He started to play the piano at the age of three and later also learned the violin and saxophone. However, neither the violin nor the saxophone managed to enthral him like the piano did. Heiji has many hobbies besides music, for instance, he is also a passionate reader and a besotted philosopher. During his time at middle school in Munich he joined the literature club and began to read world literature. Heiji became a college student majoring in music, but also studied literature alongside. He is not as successful as his parents, which is partially due to his lack of ambition. Tachibana never intended to "conquer the classical world" like his parents have done, instead, Heiji has always wanted to become a teacher, a reference person for "nimble young minds" (that's what he always calls his students) who guides and shares his knowledge with his students.

Anything interesting that you'd like to mention?
None that I can think of at the moment.

WIP (I might add more because my com erased what I typed originally and I'm trying to remember. I remember it was a long post though xD )

((This is a long post mainly because of Kenichi's large family. However, they are going to be mentioned quite a bit in my posts so I think it's better if I type them out here than in the post))

((Haha! After writing this I felt like writing an entire post just on the daily life of the Suzushima household.)) xD

[For those who might have noticed, Kenichi will be RP-ed by Ren-chan. She has my permission to do so. Ganbatte, Ren-chan~]
