Sakura was stilling in the classroom listening to her boring teacher go on and on about circuits or something. "Tanaka-san." ("I'm so bored!) "Tanaka-san!" The teacher had yelled at her. "Ahh! Yes Sensei!" "Honestly, you need to not let yourself daydream so much. Come here." "Yes," Sakura heard the people laughing at her. At the moment she truly didn't care. Sakura went up to the desk. The teacher handed her a note. I read Please come to the Music Department Meeting Room. “Kaede-sensei what's this all about?” Sakura was standing there waiting for an answer. "I'll tell you when everyone get's here! ok!" Kaede was completely excited to tell everyone the news. Sakura giggled at her enthusiastic Sensei. "This must be something really big if you're pulling us out of class. Who all else is supposed to come?" Sakura was curious as to what was going on. "Well let's see there's Yamada Yoko, Inoue Koji, and Arai Momo." ("Yoko-chan, Inoue-kun, Momo-chan, and myself? I wonder what it could be.") Sakura sat down in a chair and waited for the others to arrive. |

[[Ugh, it's hideously long. Gomen~! But my other posts in this thread probably won't be as long so don't worry XD]] Koji twirled his pencil in-between his long, slim fingers as he listened to his biology teacher's lecture for the day. "...and the circle of Willis is located here. As you can see, the arteries form something of a circle in the brain and, should there be a blockage somewhere, the other arteries will be able to provide enough blood to the brain to prevent tissue death..." Koji quickly scribbled down a brief note about the circle of Willis in his notebook and yawned. He was unusually tired, but then again, the pressures of the impending university entrance exams were weighing down on him, getting heavier and heavier with each passing day. He spent at least three hours each day on studying alone on top of the time it took to complete his assignments, as well as to complete his chores. His thoughts wandered to the piano in his attic, sitting and waiting to be played. Due to the pressures of his academics, he had found it increasingly difficult to find the time to play the piano much lately. The teacher completed his lecture by writing down the pages in their textbook they were to read for the next day, as well as a critical thinking research question due the next week, on the blackboard with a stub of white chalk. Then, the teacher made his way back to his desk at the front of the class as his students shuffled around to get started on their work before the bell rang. "Inoue-san?" Koji stopped just as he was about to remove his textbook from his bag on the floor. "Yes, sensei?" The teacher made a "come here" gesture with his hand, and as Koji made his way there, the teacher slipped him a note. Koji-kun~ Come meet me in the Music Department Meeting Room as soon as you get this. Bring your things with you because I don't know how long this will take. See you there! - Kaede-sensei Without even reading the name at the bottom of the sticky note, he knew it was Kaede-sensei's writing. But what was curious was why she wanted to see him. Sure, she allowed him access to the piano room sometimes but there was no reason for her to call on him, especially during class time. "You may go, Inoue-san," the teacher said with a smile. "See you tomorrow." "Uh, yeah, see you tomorrow, sensei," Koji replied with a smile and a wave. He picked up his bag again and left quickly, making his way to the music department side of the school. He knocked twice on the meeting room's door before entering cautiously, poking his head in and glancing around. "Ah! Koji-kun!" Kaede-sensei greeted him brightly. "Come inside! We're just waiting for your friend, Yamada-chan, and another girl, Arai Momo-chan. And this one here is Tanaka Sakura-chan." Koji shut the door behind him and bowed politely towards Sakura with a warm smile. "I'm already somewhat acquainted with Sakura-chan already, sensei, but thank you anyway. And Kaede-sensei, I must say, I do love the blouse you're wearing today." Kaede-sensei laughed and waved him away, gesturing towards a chair. "Oh stop joking around like that and take a seat." He did as he was told and set his bag down beside his seat. "So, Kaede-sensei, why have you brought us here?" "I won't tell you until the others come," Kaede said with a wink. "I think you guys will like it, though." Koji blinked and gave her a confused look before turning to Sakura beside him. "Do you know what's going on? Or are you just as lost as I am?" There was a knock on the meeting room's door. Sakura looked over to see who would arrive first. Koji-kun poked his head in and glancing around. "Ah! Koji-kun!" Kaede-sensei greeted him brightly. "Come inside! We're just waiting for your friend, Yamada-chan, and another girl, Arai Momo-chan. And this one here is Tanaka Sakura-chan." Sakura already knew Koji-kun. Koji shut the door behind him and turnned around and bowed towards Sakura with a warm smile. Sakura couldn't help but smile back. Sakura bowed as well, "Good evening Koji-kun." "I'm already somewhat acquainted with Sakura-chan already, sensei, but thank you anyway. And Kaede-sensei, I must say, I do love the blouse you're wearing today." Sakura was hoping that Yoko-chan would arrive soon. She was the only one who could Koji-kun's behavior. But all Kaede-sensai did was wave him away. "Oh stop joking around like that and take a seat." Koji-kun took a seat and but his bag down on the floor next to his seat. "So, Kaede-sensei, why have you brought us here?" Sakura went back to watching the door but listened to their conversation. "I won't tell you until the others come. I think you guys will like it, though." Out of the corner her eye Sakura noticed that Koji gave Kaede-sensei a strange look then turnned to her. "Do you know what's going on? Or are you just as lost as I am?" Sakura took her attention away from the door and went to Koji-kun's question. "I haven't the faintest clue. She refuses to tell me...us." Sakura had been trying to pry the information out of her before Koji-kun had arrived. "She's keeping it to herself like Fort Knox. So it must be something big. Wouldn't you agree?" |

"William Shakespeare, baptised on the 26th of April of the year 1564 and who passed away on April , 1616, was a marvelous English poet and playwright. He could be, no doubt, the best english writer in the history of mankind!" Momo stared blankly at her overexcited English teacher. Her emerald eyes began to droop until she heard a sharp noise that deeply resembled sharp nails scratching a chalk board. Momo shivered at the noise and realized that it was her teacher yelling and going on and on about how great Shakespeare was. The young pianist sighed. "What's the point of learning about Shakespeare and his English plays when we don't even speak English?"Momo whispered to herself. Then, the bell rang and everybody started packing up. "Oh young Juliet~!"someone cooed. Momo looked over and saw the teacher posing like he's acting out a serenade. Everybody was silent and stared at the sensei in awe and fear. The professor quickly cleared his throat and stated,"Arai Momo, come here." Momo's eyes widened. Was she in trouble? What did she do? Oh man, if she was in trouble, she wouldn't hear the end of it from her mother. Momo nervously trotted to her teacher. "U-Um...is something the m-matter...s-sensei?"Momo muttered quietly because of her shy demeanor towards others. "Nothing's wrong, my dear, but I do have something for you." She grabbed a letter from her teacher's hand. "W-What is this? "A letter, of course." That's not what I meant! "It's from Kaede-sensei of the music department. The letter says for you to meet her in the music meeting room. It's urgent, so you better get going." Momo raised an eyebrow. "U-Um...sensei...d-did you read my letter?" The sensei coughed. "Don't be ridiculous. Hurry your little tush and go!" The pianist shrugged and left for the meeting room, where she found her beloved Sa-chan and the notorious ladies' man, Koji. She decided that she would stay away from him. "Sa-chan? What are you doing here?" ---------------------- I read the play of Romeo and Juliet and I did not understand half of what it was saying. Not half..more like 3/4. |

Sakura continued to watch the door. She was hoping for someone to come in and break the wierd feeling about sitting with Koji. The door opened and there stood her pink haired friend Arai Momo. "Sa-chan? What are you doing here?" "I was asked to come down here. So was Koji-kun. Now we're waiting on Yoko-chan. Kaede-sensei has some big news for us all but, she refuses to tell us until Yoko-chan is here as well." "Oh! Come now Sakura-san! Don't be upset with me." Sakura sighed and rolled her eyes, "Kaede-sensei won't you please tell us? We have most of the people here!" "No! Not until Yamada-chan gets here! Then I'll tell you." Sakura was getting restless not being able to know something that concerned her. |

ooc: Ahh sorry! ----------------x The black haired violinist had fell asleep on her desk during a lesson. Nomiya Takeshi was out doing a errand for the teacher and she couldn't go and protect Nomiya-kun because she wasn't done with her music quiz. Sleeping soundly, the black hair beau only woke up as the music teacher smashed a book onto the table. Waking up in a instant, she automatically got into a fighting stance on top of the table. "What the fuck who what the, Come on bring it!" She said out loud before recognizing where she was. The teacher looked at her in a disapproving fashion as the other kids snickered at her foolishness. Giggling only slightly, she sat back down. Handing her a note, she only walked of, muttering about something about being such a bad influence into the community and not understanding how can such a lovely and talented girl waste away all those in sleep. Frowning at what she heard, she stuck out her tongue behind the teachers back and flipped her off. "Fucking eff tard..mother stinking..." Muttering curses under her breath, Yoko unfolded the white paper and read it. -Yamada Yoko. Please come to the Department meeting room. There is some important and informational information that needs to be discussed. You and a few other students are to be at the room by 1:05. Signed Kaede-sensei.- Frowning, she checked the clock, it was already 15minutes pasted the designated meeting time. What more time did she have to waste. Standing up abruptedly, she swung her school back over her shoulder and stalked off. "Where are you going Yamada?" "Out." "Out where?" Grinning at her with a sly gaze, she raised her arm and pointed to the window. "To the world were our forefathers died, fought and lived for." After saying it in such a dramatic formality, the students again only whispered and chuckled at the disruption from the test. The teacher however was not pleased. "Yamada..." "Hey you friggin hand me the note. It's already late so if you excuse me sensei." She said sensei in a very sarcastic tone. "I have a meeting. Good day." Turning around sharply at the balls of her feet, she walked out of the room. Taking her time, she arrived at the room only to see Koji in the middle, with a pleasant expression on. Groaning, Yoko continued in and bowed to Kaede. "Sensei" Turning around she did the same to the girls. "Kouha." When she finally turned to Koji, she shot him a dark smile. "Freak." pulling up a chair, she sat it on the other end of the room, away from Koji. "So what is this meeting all about really Kaede-sensei?" Edited by Kasuga, Jun 20 2008, 05:16 AM.

Sakura was about to go and get Yoko-chan herself when the door opened. Yoko-chan had arrived. "Sensei" Then she turnned and faced Momo-chan and Sakura. "Kouha." She yurnned to Koji and gave this evill grin then called him a freak. She pulled up a chair and sat on the other side of the room. "So what is this meeting all about really Kaede-sensei?" "Oh! Yes! Kaede-sensei, please tell us. Everyone is here now!" "Alright! Alright! I have choosen you all to be in a competition." "What kind of competition?" Sakura blurbed in. "If you don't interupt me I will tell you." Kaede-sensei gave Sakura a nasty glare that made a shivver go up Sakura's spine. "Now, this is a National Inter-School Competition. A Music Contest between Seiso, Ueno, Toho, and Senzoku. There will be the separate sections. A duet, a piano solo, and a woodwind solo. Of course Koji-san and Yoko-chan will be doing the duet. Momo-chan will be doing the piano solo. Lastly Sakura will be doing the woodwind solo. The first part of the competition will be two schools versus eachother for the frst round. Our school will be competing against Ueno. They have an advantage over us because they have a second woodwind soloist. I do not know who they are. But, we have twelve weeks to prepare for the competition. Only the first four participants of each category are qualified for the next selection. Are there any questions?" |

Yoko looked at the teacher blandly as he/she explained the competition. Of course...she was entering a competition...just like what Koji asked her to do at the first meeting/reunion of they're broken friendship. Wrinkling her nose, she pushed her chair backwards from a table near by, kicking her feet up. Running her fingers through her hair, the teenager didn't know really what to expect or not expect. She did expect her beautiful violin to be under heavily guarded security but wasn't sure to unexpected some surprise mob from some school. It was possible, klutzy and flirtatious Inoue Koji managed to get his own flock of girls to form a fan club, why not other schools have some prince as well? Yawning as Kaede finished, her azure blue eyes looked at the teacher before speaking out loud in a bored tone. "Hey. I have a question Kaede-sensei." Yawning against, she sat up right properly and opened his sleepy eyes a bit more. "Can I be excused." She was really sleepy, she came back really late last night from her 'job'. Her eyes were nearly drooping from all the sleepless nights she has been getting. |

So this is what Kaede-sensei wanted to tell us; a competition. Momo bit her lip. She had confidence in her ability of playing the piano, but there is always room for doubt. Even so, this was just another competition. The 15-year old had been to enough competitions and racked enough trophies to know that her skills are above average and that she shouldn't need to fret too much. "But, we have twelve weeks to prepare for the competition." "Twelve weeks..."Momo whispered to herself. Twelve weeks were more than enough time if she put a good amount of time and effort into practicing. Besides, her mother would order the maids and butlers to keep tabs on her and force her to practice with every free time she's got. "Hey. I have a question Kaede-sensei. Can I be excused." Momo stared at the rebellious Yoko-senpai. Very bold senpai... Momo then raised her hand and managed to mutter out,"U-Um..Kaede-sensei? I-Is t...there any specific theme for this..c-competition?" |

I asked Vivi that a while ago. She said there was no theme. ------------------------------------------------------------ "No, the selection of the piece you play is all up to you! But, if you would like a theme I could give you one! It's the first piece so pick something that shows who you are. The choice you make; either to use that theme or not is all up to you. But, make sure to put all your efforts into it. And Yoko-chan you may leave if you wish. But you may stay if you like." "A piece that shows who I am," Sakura mumbled under her breath. She wasn't sure if there was just one song that would explain her. Twelve weeks of preperation sure was a lot of time. She would have at least have time to find the first piece. But Sakura was cluless as to where to start searching for her first piece. "Kaede-sensei! May I have a pass to the music department CD's and tapes after school?" "Yes you may. Oh and here everyone you all get a pass to go and practice in the special practice rooms." "Special Practice rooms?" "Oh! Well, hold on!" Kaede-sensei went digging through her bag and pulled out what looked to be the blueprints to the school. "Here!" She slammed here finger down on a hallway that had the letters SP writtin on the paper. "Ok, first go to the teachers lounge...that's where the passes come in. There will be a closet in the back of the room. Go to it and open it up. Then you muusst search for the thing that does not belong. The door will then be unlocked." Sakura sat there staring at Kaede-sensei like she was insane. "What kind of joke are you playing?" "I'm not playing a joke! Now here are your passes! Don't loose them because you won't get another!" She rolled up the blueprints and shoved them in her bag. "If you have any more questions ask them now!" |

'A theme that represents us?' She frown, this could be a bit complicated, her violin and Koji's piano are envisioned as soft playing melodies. Should they create a song that fits them perfectally? The seductivness of the piano and the edgier side of a violin? No..that would or could be classified as rock n' roll wouldn't it? Frowning, she shook her head, Yoko should pay more attention to her classical studies in music. Looking over to her partner she didn't know if she should start picking a piece today or tomorrow...with him that would have to be done. Groaning inwardly, how can they possibility do this though... "Fudge..." Groaning, she covered up her face and pulled out her cell phone. Typing relaly fast, she sent a sms to Koji which she labled Annoying Neighbor. Text Reads: Hey Freak. Anyways, we should decided today or tomorrow? Make this message reply quick boy. |

[Ah~ so much to catch up on! I'll do my best. I'm still very tired from work so sorry in advance if anything is incoherent >_>] Koji couldn't help but smirk and wink in return to Yoko's greeting towards him, but with Kaede-sensei beginning to tell them about the purpose of their meeting, Koji decided to keep quiet. He nodded briefly with a smile towards Momo before turning back to Kaede-sensei. 'A competition?' Koji thought to himself, somewhat intrigued by the idea. He ran through his memory, attempting to remember if he had heard of any kind of approaching competition but could not think of any. 'They must have kept everything a secret until now.' As Koji took the pass from Kaede-sensei, he looked it over and sighed tiredly. He needed sleep, but he had two lab reports to complete, as well as some English exercises to write. And then there was the studying that needed to be done on top of all that. Did he really have time for a music competition that wouldn't even help him in the scientific field that he so desperately wanted to enter? Music, after all, was just a hobby. His studies always had to be put first. But his fellow competitors seemed to be relatively enthusiastic about the idea. And would Yoko be disappointed if he decided to drop out? They were, after all, a duo. Not wanting to spoil the mood, he slipped the pass into the inner pocket of his blazer and resolved to talk to Kaede-sensei privately later. He had no questions to ask. He had competed in various music competitions in the past when his parents pushed him into it, but he had (for the most part) stopped upon entering high school. Most competitions were fairly straight forward and the more specific rules would be known quite soon. Meanwhile, he felt his cell phone vibrate in his other blazer pocket, indicating a new text message. Flipping open his cell phone, he smiled a little as he read the "endearing" message from his rebellious and foul-mouthed duet partner. He hit "Reply" and texted a message back: Yoko-cha~n, As much as I'd love to spend every minute in your presence as soon as possible, I have business to take care of today. Shall we meet tomorrow? We can call it a date, if you want! ~_^ Edited by Kotoko, Jun 24 2008, 06:25 AM.

Sakura put the pass into her bag and just sat there. She had no questions to ask. She was totally excited to find the piece that represented her. "Alright, well if there are no more questions you may leave. I will be in the teachers lounge after school if you need me." Kaede packed her things and left the room. Sakura really didn't want to go back to class. But, then the bell rang and the next class was her favorite class of all. Lunch and Independant studies. Sakura planned to go check out the special practice rooms durring that time. "I'm going to go and check out those practice rooms durning lunch. Momo-chan would you like to join me? Oh! Yoko-chan and Koji-kun when are your lunches? Maybe we can all go together?" |

Frowning she felt her pocket vibrate. Flipping her phone open she read the message and frowned. What a idiot, why did she really have to have musical chemistry with such a bo-log-go-nus idiot. Stupid ugly Inoue head. Although I'd LOVE to follow you in you're less then amusing and more of a idiot flirtatious style of speech, I rather NOT call it a date but much rather view it was a....meeting.. Ones that you throw at the City Hall for political issues. Replying quickly to his text, she shut her phone and suddenly was over whelmed by the urge to make and consume a avocado Smoothie. Oh those orientals and their drinks...so delicious that fruity and sweet milkshake was. "I'm going to go and check out those practice rooms durning lunch. Momo-chan would you like to join me? Oh! Yoko-chan and Koji-kun when are your lunches? Maybe we can all go together?" She blinked and checked her watch, it was almost mid afternoon. And she didn't even touch her bento box her step mother so loveling prepared for her. Groaning inwardly it would probably be another decorative rabbit face rice with some octopus sausages and sweet egg with a few slices of cucumber. Smiling weakly at the girl, Yoko decided against it. "Maybe some other time. I have to go home right now...It's been a extermly long day and for my part, not exciting enough to keep me awake of you know what I mean." She implied on the history of her middle school years, short choppy hair. The smell of the streets and Blood. "I'm sure the flirtatious and less the normal Inoue might like to join you two." |

Koji watched out of the corner of his eye - and with some amusement - Yoko's reaction to his text message. He grinned to himself as she texted back to him furiously and, quite expectedly, he felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket again, just as Kaede-sensei left. He left it for the moment and stood up, picking up his book bag as he went. Glancing over his shoulder at Sakura and Momo, he smiled apologetically and said, "Spending time with two beautiful girls is like a dream come true but, unfortunately, I'll be spending my lunch break poring over endless books and notes. Maybe another time, ne?" After a brief nod in Yoko's direction, he left the room, waving farewell without looking back. As soon as he was out the door and out of sight, he hurried in the direction Kaede-sensei had went. He could still heel the sound of her heels against the tiled school floor. He quickly glanced around to make sure no one was around before hurrying forward to catch up to her. "Kaede-sensei!" She stopped and turned around, smiling a little as she recognized who had called out to her. "Koji-kun! I'm sorry, but if you have questions, can't they wait until after school? I have a class soon." "Sorry, but it's something that will weigh on my mind until I talk to you or Yoko-chan about it...and I don't think it would be a good idea to talk to Yoko-chan about it until I've gone over it with you," Koji said, the tone of his voice more serious than usual. Kaede caught the tone and, with as neutral a face as she could muster, replied, "All right, then, what is it?" "As you know, the university entrance exams are approaching," he began. "I want to attend the University of Tokyo but, of course, my grades have to be very high and I have to do well on the exams, so studying and academics are the most important to me right now. I'm afraid I won't have the time necessarily to prepare adequately for the upcoming competition." Kaede looked up at him curiously but when she found no sign of humour in Koji's face, she sighed. "I can't force you to do anything you don't want to, but please do consider taking part. Even though you're not in the music program here, you're one of the best pianists in the entire school. You'd represent Senzoku well, and that's why the faculty decided to choose you to participate. Besides, Yamada-chan is taking part, is she not? And you two make a great duet. I've heard you two play before. Just think about it, ok?" Koji, too, couldn't help but sigh. "I will think about it, but as of now, I probably won't participate." The bell rang, signalling the end of the period. The next period would begin in five minutes. Kaede glanced at her watch, shifted her bag, and then looked back at Koji. "Think about it. And talk to Yamada-chan about it, too. It's unfair to her if you keep her thinking you'll be performing with her when you may not...and she might do a better job of convincing you than me." "Yeah, if that's the case, expect to see me with some fresh bruises tomorrow," Koji said with a soft chuckle. Kaede laughed, as well, knowing of Yoko's reputation before saying, "Feel free to talk to me whenever you like about it. But for now, I have an introductory harmony class to get to. See ya around!" Koji watched the teacher go, threading her way through the groups of chattering music students, before making his way back to the science department area of the school for his next class. As he went, he flipped out his cell phone and decided to type a message back to Yoko: Yoko-cha~n, Why must we always be so serious? Then again, perhaps this is a sign that you want to become more serious about our relationship? XD In any case, since today won't work out, then how about tomorrow after school? We can meet in the library, if you'd like, or anywhere else that's quiet. It doesn't matter much to me. Edited by Kotoko, Jun 25 2008, 04:58 AM.
