For me, Code Geass has been a very interesting show. For its 1st season, it has lots of different twist and turns all over the entire season and in my opinion, its a very good show. It has a fair share of mecha and strategy. The second season if currently halfway and the suspense is getting better and better. Do any of you guys watch this show? |

I just finished season 1 and well...let's say...there are better animes out there. Many say that it is kinda like a corssover between Death Note and Gundam, and I must say that both Death Note and Gundam are far better than Code Geass (I think that Raito's strategies were much better than Lelouch's XD). I wasn't really interested in the plot, and mainly watched it because of the characters (I didn't pay any attention to the fights at all). The show was okay, but I personally don't understand the hype around Code Geass. And somehow...I don't like Lelouch at all. I despise people who wish to change the world by themselves, hiding behind others and using them as pawns and ruthlessly destroying innocent people's lives. No one can represent justice - and if Lelouch thinks he can, then he's prone to get on the wrong path. Besides, he's such a coward. I respect people like Cornelia or Suzaku, who are willing to fight one-on-one and die honorably in a battle. [LONG LIVE PRINCESS EUPHEMIA! I never got to watch the Japanese version before it got licensed, so I sometimes just take a peek at it when it's on Cartoon Network and I always want to see Lelouch. (a.k.a. Lulu XD) One time, when I saw Code Geass on, I went to watch it, and I saw the main cast I think...I really didn't understand  so one of the character's voice, Suzaku Kururugi I think, sounded REALLY familiar to me. After hearing him talk for awhile I screamed "ASCH!" which was another character the voice actor played. My sister, who was also watching, screamed in terror. XD That day had so much surprises.
