Okay, since the RP thread is more or less dead atm, let's discuss an unified Ueno uniform! Boy's uniform - summer & winter Girl's uniform - summer & winter For the boy's summer uniform, I was thinking about a T-shirt with a green stripe around the sleeves and the school emblem on the chest...did that make sense O_o? Here's what I meant XD  As for the winter uniform: Dark-green, with golden stripes around sleeves and golden knobs. Grey necktie with school emblem embroidered on it? Is the boy's winter uniform be like those long-sleeved jackets where it goes up to your neck? Or is it also a collared shirt? *got kind of lost* But the idea of the grey tie sounds good to me. I like grey  Well, I've been trying to plan for the girl's uniforms but it hasn't been going so well. Well, I think the girl's uniform should be like...a tight jacket over a collared shirt and the ends of the jacket folds. The jacket could be green, and the shirt inside could be white/grey. And they just wear a regular green skirt? They could also wear a tie, but it's half covered by the jacket and it also has the emblem on it, like the guy's. Was that too confusing?  (By the way, I like the boy's summer uniform!  )

Ack, it's because of me, isn't it? >__> I swear I'll get a post up soon. But anyway, about an Ueno uniform...I actually designed one on a whim a few weeks ago. xD It's rather messy though, and it was drawn on leftover worksheets from school, so there are words above it. Since I don't have a scanner, maybe I could take a picture of it and post it up...? It's a rather complex uniform though, so maybe I'll describe it another time. ^^;; I've got a boy's and girl's uniform designed, though it kinda got cut off before I could get to the pants/skirt part since I ran out of paper... |

*Butts head into the conversation* Hmm, I think all schools should figure out their school uniforms! What makes Ueno so special? (Just kidding) I rather like the proposed idea but I'd be interested to see Yian-san's designs, too, even if I'm not playing an Ueno student >_> |

(Well, I opened this thread as an Ueno-ian XD I never said other schools couldn't get their own uniform discussion ^^;) I would like to see Yian-san's designs, too ^^ The more ideas to choose from, the better~! |

Alright, so, I ended up redrawing my designs in my sketchbook, so there aren't any unnecessary words or scribbles all over the place. xD That's why it took me so long to post. And due to my lack of a scanner, I had to use my camera to take pictures. So please excuse the poor quality of the pictures. =__=;; And excuse my sketchy art; this is the first time I've ever posted up anything of mine, so I'm all self-conscious too. xD I edited them as best as I could in Paint.NET, and added descriptions. BIG IMAGES AHEAD. SORRY.      I didn't design a summer uniform because I kinda ran out of ideas (and I was feeling lazy, haha). But I like Vivi-san's design. 8D I didn't color these drawings either, since I wanted to be sure of our colors before I did anything. My original idea was a white/tan jacket, with green stripes, and a gray vest? Or perhaps a green jacket with white stripes would look better. Thoughts? Oh, and if anybody wants, I can design ties, vests, summer uniforms and other items too, when I have the time. :D |

I totally love the Boy's & Girl's winter uniforms We should use those ^^ Oh and I think dark-green jackets with white stripes look better ~ how about golden knobs? (No neckties? Aww XD)

@Ka-chan: Ahaha, thanks. ^^ I shall look forward to your designs! @Vivi-san: I'm glad you like them. ^^ And yeah, after thinking about it, dark-green jackets with white stripes would definitely look better. I like the idea of golden buttons too. Haha, and like I said, we can have neckties too. ^^ I was thinking that the neckties could be part of the summer uniforms instead of the winter, but we can also have them as part of the winter uniforms as well. Oh, and I forgot to mention this, but the sweater vest inside the jacket has the school emblem on it as well. So students can wear it without the jacket too. ^^ |

@Yian: THOSE ARE AWESOME!!! :D It looks like the Seiso uniform slightly, lol. Maybe I'll add another design to the pool? :|*can't draw for anything* EDIT: OK I did them super-quick so they're kind of... sloppy... But since Yian-san did a western-ish influenced one I decided I'd try to draw what a gakuran'd Ueno might look like... ^__^;; Didn't come out very proportionate, and the colouring looks just... bleh, but it's a vague idea. Big image warning! Winter  Yeah, I didn't want to make the gakuran all-green or they'd look like vegetables (the green background already does, though)... And I don't really know what the crest looks like. And prefects/any special ranks wear that gold thingy (forgot its name... ^_^;;). Uh, now that I think about it, I didn't really draw it well. Oh noes. Summer  This was done in a rush too... Ack... The girls' uniform is about the same, just shorter sleeves, and the guys' one is just the winter one without the jacket. @Rieko: Thanks! And yeah, I was kinda influenced by the Seiso uniforms because I like them so much. xD -loser- Anyway, I like your designs too! Especially the sailor uniform. |
