Brand New Breeze used to be a forum for all those who were interested in the NeoRomance series "La Corda D'Oro" and slice-of-life roleplays.

Now it is nothing more but an archive of old roleplay threads and a place for nostalgic members to catch up with each other.

These threads might interest you:

Guidelines & Reminders

In order to prevent our RP from going down the drain again, we decided to post up a few helpful reminders which will hopefully keep our RP alive for a loooong time ~

1) Please do not try to squeeze too many characters into one thread, because...

...although it is fiction, it is improbable for so many characters to "accidentally" meet at once

...the thread will expand very rapidly (sometimes even creating 2 or more seperate subplots), which makes it tiresome for other involved RPers to read through

...one inactive character is already enough to stop the entire thread and to hinder five other RPers

It is hence helpful to plan a thread beforehand. Exceptions are school festivals or concerts, where everyone can participate.

2) What, Who, Why, Where, When? Try to answer these questions roughly whenever you are the first one to open a thread so that others will know what your thread is about.

3) Hyperlink to keep track of timelines and places.

What? Exactly. “What”. Hyperlink your story. Let’s say you’re in the cafeteria and you decide to go to the practice room. Link it to the topics in the correct forum you or another player created. For example:

After eating delicious sushi in the cafe, Hino got up and decided to do some more practice today.

RP moved (copy the link of your destination post, click the http:// button, paste the destination link into the pop-up box, click OK, type “here” into the next pop-up box, click OK)

This will directly bring your readers directly to your next location. It may sound like a troublesome thing to do, but believe me, this will help to prevent the problems listed in #1 from happening.

4) If a thread is inactive for too long will be deleted (unless the involved RPers tell me that they're away/busy beforehand)

5) If you are waiting for s.o. to reply to a thread, please PM them for they could have missed your post. It doesn't necessarily mean that a thread is dead. We have so many subboards, it is very easy for s.o. to overlook a reply. In this case, please communicate with each other (admins are not RP-messengers)!

6) Please feel free to establish relationships for your OCs before starting to RP. For example, if your characters are in the same year and department, it is easy to make them classmates. This will reduce the number of "getting-to-know-each-other" posts.
