Name, Age: Fahrin (a.k.a. Rin), 204902 Do you play an instrument? If yes, which one and for how long?: I've been playing the violin for 4 years, and the piano for around 2. Character you apply for: Shimizu Keiichi How often will you be able to role-play?: 2-3 times a week, more if it's really fun. Picture of character: Click. Character Description (biography, behaviour, relationships...): Full Name: Shimizu Keiichi Name (in Kanji): 志水桂一 Birthday: August 26 Horoscope: Virgo Height: 168cm (5 feet, 6 inches) Blood Type: A Family: Father, mother, older sister, younger sister, younger brother Instrument: Cello Grade: First Year, Music Department, Class A (1-A) Favorite Food: Onigiri (rice balls) Shimizu Keiichi's life revolves solely around music and sleeping. Keiichi can often be found sleeping anywhere, anytime. He is usually very drowsy and often seems like he is in a daze. When he does speak, Keiichi tends to say things bluntly, yet his words always seem to come straight from his heart. He appreciates things others would usually take for granted. Although many people consider him to be a bishounen, his rather dull and quiet personality causes him to not have many friends (not that he's complaining). The only person that he gets along with quite well is Hino Kahoko, who respects his extreme passion for music and playing the cello. He, in turn, comes to be interested in Kahoko because of her pure and carefree music. He thinks of her as "a goddess that gives him inspiration on music". Because of his infatuation with music, anyone with exceptionally stunning skills is greatly admired by Keiichi. He indubitably respects Tsukimori for his supreme talent for music. Because Yunoki declined an offer to go to an elite training camp, Keiichi was selected to go in his place. There, he meets Kaji Aoi, who overhears him practicing his cello. Kaji becomes excited, and claims that Keiichi's sound is "so beautiful". Keiichi completely immerses himself in the world of music, so much that it seems like his mind is not in the same place as his body. He can practice his cello from the middle of the day to the next morning without ever coming in touch with the real world. After the concours, Keiichi's dedication to music intensified-- something many would have considered nearly impossible. Other than sleeping and practicing his cello, Keiichi also occasionally visits the library to read and study about the history of music and the structures of instruments. He tries to learn even more about music by attending various concerts and exhibitions. Your goals? (what do you plan with your character?) Keiichi's world only consists of music notes and Z's. Because his passion for music is so great, his mind is barely ever on Earth. I think it would be nice if he met someone that would help bring him down from his music-filled cloud and teach him how to combine both his world and reality. His supreme passion for music is exceedingly admirable, but it would also be great for him to learn a bit more of some other fun things. Short sample RP (~10 lines): It was another beautiful morning, with the radiant sun shining warmly on everything below. The leaves on the trees were a lush green color, and the assorted flowers were a myriad of colors. But Keiichi wasn't paying attention to any of that. He had been walking to school with his trusty cello in hand when he heard it. Music. Keiichi's normally drowsy features now had a slightly alert air to them. Music... I wonder where it's coming from...? Keiichi closed his eyes and listened. He was pretty sure it was music, but it didn't sound like anything he'd heard before. There were guitars-- electric ones, at that. And was that... a drum set he just heard? This definitely wasn't classical music. But, Keiichi thought to himself, this isn't so bad either....
