Brand New Breeze (or for short, BNB) is a roleplay forum based on the anime "La Corda d'Oro". We don't have a serious plot yet, which means that you may all chill out and enjoy your school life at Seiso to the fullest! But how long will those peaceful days last? Stay tuned to learn about the challenges Seiso Academy has yet to face...!

Hello everyone ~ Here comes our monthly RP update! This thread is regularly going to be updated with RP news in order to keep everyone up to date and to check which threads and roleplayers are inactive. Currently, we have 17 RP chapters (18, if you count in the accidentally deleted "Airy Concerto)" and 18 characters; the most popular characters are Otori Shun and Takehara Suzume ^^ All in all, the RP has been going rather smoothly so far and at this point I want to thank everyone for their hard work. No major problems occurred and we're currently swamped with lots of new, interesting threads =D However, I also have some bad news; I am afraid that I have to cancel a roleplayer from our cast because the member failed to log in once a month and did not tell anyone about her absence (at least, there was neither a post in the away thread nor a PM in my inbox):
The character I am talking about is Wakabayashi Suzaku, who is involved in two inactive threads, "New Beginnings" and "Lunchtime Exposition". Both threads have not been updated for about a month and are in danger of being deleted.
The staff deleted the Suzaku subplots (which was rather easy b/c there were only a few posts); "New Beginnings" has been moved [finished threads] and "Lunchtime Exposition" can be continued now. That's actually all for the months January/February ^^ Let's keep up the good work =D |

Hi, everyone! It's the 22nd of this month, meaning it's time to update everyone on what's going on around BNB since last month. First, thank you to everyone for keeping this place active and lively! We've had plenty of new threads pop up and it's awesome reading them. Our chapter count is now up to 24, although unfortunately, Random Rhapsody was deemed inactive. It was too much of a shame to delete it entirely, however, so Vivi has provided us with an Inactive RP section so we can still go back and read inactive threads at our leisure ^^ Lunchtime Exposition was also in danger of being inactive but has since been revived - yay! Related to that, we've had to take out two members of our cast - SuperErin (Kaizuka Kanon) and Chlorine (Nakamura Keiko) - since they haven't signed on since early February. Remember, try to keep active, and if you're going to be away for more than a few days, please post in The Away Thread so you're not leaving your fellow RPers in the dark. Also, when posting in that thread, please try to estimate the dates you'll be gone. Currently, we have 3 people listed as Away in that thread - I will keep it as updated as possible ^^ In other news, we've had two polls in the last month. The first was our Favourite RPer and it was won by our awesome penchan, followed closely by Kotoko (myself oO;) and Yian-san! Congratulations, penchan~! Our second poll was dedicated to our Favourite OC Couple! This poll was easily won by Shiba Kousuke and Toyonaga Riju! Aren't they adorable?  If you haven't seen them in action in the RP, do check out their threads because they really are cute!Well, that's all for now! Keep up all the good work, everyone! I know everyone is probably busy with life and school, but don't let it get you down! If anything, come here to BNB to de-stress, and don't forget to check out the La Corda d'Oro ~secondo passo~, aka the second season of the La Corda anime! Hello everyone! It's time once again for our monthly news update~! We're happy to note that the activity level in the forum hasn't dwindled down for the past month, so thank you everyone for keeping BNB alive and active! Currently, we have 32 threads in our chapter count, 15 of which are on-going and 12 of which are finished. Two of the on-going threads, Dolce Touch and Tempo Rubato are open to all, so don't hesitate to join in and interact with some characters! We also have five inactive threads as of late: Poco a Poco { little by little }, The Sweetest Nocturne, Diminuendo in 8-Eleven, Badinerie at Hanabi and Lunchtime Exposition. However, some of the RPers in the thread are listed as away so we will not move them in the Inactive Threads board just yet. Remember to give a heads-up to everyone if you will be gone for a while by posting in the Away Thread. Currently, we have 4 people on hiatus. To facilitate better interaction between OCs and CCs, we'd like to encourage everyone to make use of the Lonely Hearts Thread and our trusty PM system to plan out relationships between characters. Having pre-established relationships (e.g., old schoolmates, neighbors, childhood playmates) will provide more ground for interactions between CCs and OCs. Also, to those who haven't specified their classes in the Class List, please do so -- it will help everyone know who is classmates with whom. We're also glad to announce that we have two new CC characters in our cast: Fuyuumi Shouko played by Miss Avarice and Yunoki Azuma played by Chii. Since our CC count is now up to seven, as promised, we're lifting the moratorium on OC apps! =D However there will be some restrictions in order to avoid a possible flood of OCs in our cast. Please take note of these new rules when applying for OCs: If you already have an OC, you can't apply for another OC. If you play a CC or if it's your first time applying for a character, it's fine to apply for an OC. As of the moment, we will only be accepting applications for first year or third year music or gen-ed students because we already have a number of second years in the cast. And now, for the highlight of this month's update, we will now be revealing BNB's real plot! *drumroll* "The price of the land in which Seisou is located has risen and Kira decides to move the school to somewhere else. This month's RP update is up a little bit early Like always, we would like to thank everyone for the hard work and hope that BNB will remain as active and fun as it is in the future. Compared to the previous months, our forum has gotten a bit quieter, but most of the threads are still being regularly updated. ================================== Quick Stats Current number of chapters: 36 I went ahead and organized our threads in books. All events after "The Shocking Revelation" are counted as chapters of the Second Book =D Number of finished chapters: 14 (21 threads to go until our First Book is complete) The list of inactive threads remained almost the same as last month: - Badinerie at Hanabi (Mar 12) - Lunchtime Exposition (Mar 15) - Poco a Poco (Mar 16) - Diminuendo in 8-11 (Mar 17) - The Sweetest Nocturne (Mar 19) - Sunshine Stanza (Apr 15) - Appoggiatura (Apr 13) Some of the involved RPers are listed as away, so we won't remove all of the threads. Appogiatura is going to be moved to [Inactive Threads] because neither of the RPers is listed as away. Sunshine Stanza is also considered inactive because the thread is not expecting a post from any of the absent members (the last post was made by penchan, the other RPers aren't listed as away). Miscellaneous We would also like to encourage everyone to join Namida in Cambiare Deciso, which is open for all and want to point out that our "real plot" is officially been revealed in our RP: The Shocking Revelation Polls There are no new polls this month, but a new nomination thread is open for Favorite CCxCC and OCxCC pairings, Most Unlikely Pairing and Most Entertaining Thread. RP News: June 22, 2009 Hi, everyone! I volunteered to take on the RP news update for this month, so listen up! >8D Quick Stats Total chapters: 36 -- Please take a gander at our List of RP Chapters thread and let us know if there's any chapters we did not add to the list. It's been neglected recently >.< -- Also, please join into the The Shocking Revelation plot!thread is feeling rather lonely. Do you guys not like the new plot? Finished chapters: 16 (19 to go before Book I is completely finished) Inactive threads: 2 - Badinerie at Hanabi (last post: Mar. 11) - Poco a Poco {little by little} (last post: Mar. 16) **These threads have inactive members involved in them so they will remain in the active list for now. However, they've been inactive for a few months already so we're considering removing them. We'll see how it goes.** Inactive members: 1 (Namida) We haven't seen Namida in over two months (we extended the usual one-month period due to her history of popping in and out - we were hoping to see her, but alas...) so we are changing her status to inactive and removing her character (Honoka Chinatsu) from the active RP. Members listed as away: 5 (see The Away List for more info) Please welcome... Our first two teachers to the BNB cast! They are Nakamura Kaede, played by Miss Avarice (who also plays Fuyuumi Shouko), and Kita Hototo, played by Dirge. Nakamura-sensei teaches music composition and piano while Hototo-sensei teaches conducting. Polls We've had three polls recently, two of which have finished. The first was our Favourite Pairing poll, which ended in a tie between Hino x Hihara and Hino x Kaji (Hino is so popular XD), followed up closely by Kozu Hiroyuki x Mori Manami. The second was our Most Entertaining Thread poll. Congratulations to Hino (poetry in motion) and Kaji (pecluluiarities) for making "{CADENZA" a memorable thread. Second place went to our "Offbeat Trio", Katagiri Taro (Vivi), Izumi Ran (KawaiiAquarius~), and Takehara Suzume (me ^^). In the meantime, please vote in our Most Unlikely Pairing poll! Misc. Stuff Well, BNB went through a bit of a quiet period recently, but it seems to have made a refreshing come-back! ^^ Keep up the hard work, everyone! I know we're all busy, but we've worked together to create an awesome RP so far. Also, do look into the new site-wide plot! As I said before, it's feeling lonely XD That's all for now!
