Brand New Breeze (or for short, BNB) is a roleplay forum based on the anime "La Corda d'Oro". We don't have a serious plot yet, which means that you may all chill out and enjoy your school life at Seiso to the fullest! But how long will those peaceful days last? Stay tuned to learn about the challenges Seiso Academy has yet to face...!

Hey there, I'm Soreyal, but you can call me Sora for short, since Sore sounds a bit weird. Don't you think? XD I still can't believe, I found a roleplay site based on my new obsession, La Corda d'Oro. XD Which brings me to the next point, I hear there is going to be a second season, somewhere around spring... Anyone else hear about that? =P Okay, okay, I'll get back onto topic. Anyways, I have played a couple of instruments, such as the flute and the tenor sax, but my major focus is on the piano, as I have been playing it for over 9 years. Of course, after watching Tsukimori play the violin and listening to Ave Maria and Canon in D major, my interest in violin really sparked up. Hopefully, my mom will let me get a violin and learn how to play it, after I finish up with piano. For now, I will lurk around, though I do have an application I am working on for Tsukmori Len. At the moment, I am aware that there are too many awesome roleplayers on here for me to post my application, which is why I have decided to keep it until I figure somethings out. I should catch up on the manga first as well, or else I will seriously have a very, how do I say this... Off data application? XD I guess I'll have to admit, that my vocabulary is pretty elemetary styled. = = My favourite pairing, Tsukimori Len and Hino Kahoko. If anything does happen, I will still support those two, to the very end. They were my ideal pairing ever since the story of the violin romance was introduced. As for my favourite character, I guess you could say Tsukimori Len is, which is why I was so psyched out when I found out his role wasn't taken. Of course, then I realized I didn't stand a chance, but I'll still try out later on. o3o The others are all equally loved, though Yunoki scares me quite a bit, but he's still... Cool-ish... -cough- =P Now then, I have roleplayed quite a bit when I was 9, mostly about Naruto I think. Though it was on virtual pet sites. I still roleplay at such places, for it's fun, and I don't have to worry about applications, but... Occasionally, someone with horrible grammar, worse than I, shows up. Not very fun by then. >O Which is why I decided to try out here, and write an application... Though, maybe I should gain some more experience before I post mines here... ^^;; As for other topics I've roleplayed, I've done Digimon... Yes, Digimon for it is FTW, and Bleach. I do believe I've also done Katekyo Hitman Reborn, but it was only for awhile, cause all my roleplay partners soon disapeared. XD That's about all, any questions? o3o |

Yes, I heard about that! They're calling it ~secondo passo~, I think, and Kaji, Kira, and Etou will be in it.8D I can't wait to see it.XDD;; /flail Haha, I know what you mean about finding BNB.XD Corda doesn't have a very big roleplaying fanbase outside of Livejournal (and LJ roleplays scare me >w>"), so I was thanking my lucky stars when I first saw this site.XD Y...you're so lucky you're musical.*A* Nine years on the piano! That's really something; you must be very good at it! Knowing how to play any kind of instrument is really helpful on this site, so I'm sure you'll have no problem with the music aspect! And, I hope your mom lets you get a violin; they're awesome. Hello Sora! I see Lui has already welcomed you to the boards, but in any case... Welcome to Brand New Breeze! You can call me Penchan; I'm one of the mods here so if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask, okay? ^^ I know what you mean about Corda RPs. xD; As far as I know, BNB is the only active Corda RP around. Not that there'd be much, since the series has a small following in the English-speaking fanbase. ^^; But yeah, when I first saw the site too, I was really ecstatic. :D Ah, I'm so envious of your musical background *-*. The piano is my favorite instrument and I took it up when I was younger but I quit soon after. Which I really, really regret now. xD; Corda's sort of inspired me to take it up again though. :3 It's nice to hear that you're applying for Len! :D I'm looking forward to your application and wish you the best of luck. You don't have to be intimidated at all. :3 Basing from your introduction post, you seem to have a good command of the language already. And staff gives chances for you to fix the app if it isn't approved at the first go, so it shouldn't be too hard. ^^ It would be really great to have a Len in the cast! :3 Although I'm more fond of Tsuchiura, I support TsuchiHino all the way. They're the canon pair after all. X3 (And because I ship Tsuchi with someone else, lol) Anyway. I hope you enjoy your stay in the boards~ :) |

Hi Sora~ Welcome to BNB! I'm Rin. (; Oh, fantastic. You're going to apply for Len~  I was also psyched to find a La Corda d'Oro RP forum, with it being my favorite manga/anime of all time and all. ^^ It's always amazing to read about all the people La Corda has affected, music-wise. Oh my, oh my, hey there! You can call me Yian or Yianny~ :D I was excited to see that you're thinking of applying for Len! We need a Len in our cast pretty badly, and based on what I see of your writing, it's pretty darn good. I was actually a former Len roleplayer here, and I was thinking of applying for him too, but chances are I won't have the time for it... So, by all means, go apply! It's probably better that another person plays Len, because I don't think I did enough justice to him, and I want to somehow interact with him myself. xD Although, I don't know how probable that is either. I don't know how helpful I might be, but you can ask me questions about his character or about the violin (since I've played the violin for about 5-6 years), and I'll try to help you the best I can~ :3 I hope to be able to roleplay with you soon! |

Lui~ "Secondo Passo" is it? XD Sounds like the typical name for the next season of La Corda d'Oro. Primo, then Secondo... Heh, I know. I still can't believe I found this place, I'm a genius I bet. =P Luckily, I was looking through wiki, and then found the word "Roleplay" in the middle of reading stuff, so then I was like... "Oooh, I should click it" which ended up with me on this site, surfing around. Nah... According to my piano teacher, I still have a long way to go, until I am actually ready to take my level 10 exam. She is so strict. >.>;; Hahaa, which reminds me, that the song played by Tsuchiura, in the fist selection was ARCT level according to my teacher... Crushed my hopes at playing it. I do believe the song was called "Fantasia" by Chopin, was it not? Oh, and I do hope my violin dream goes through as well o3o, watching La Corda d'Oro has inspired me to do my best at music. Just like all the other animes I watched that inspired me to learn, play basketball etc. Yah... I'm kinda weird when it comes to how I get my inspiration. =P Well, the truth is... My roleplays when I was 9, scares me... There are so many mistakes in the grammar aspect of it, it's not even funny. Though, it was how I first got interested in roleplaying, so I should thank that Naruto person who randomly invited me to join. *w* Yup, I am looking forward to roleplaying with you as well. ^^ Penchan~ Ahh, oh yes. That's right, thanks for reminding me to register. XD I was so into writing an application I almost forgot. Oh, one question, is Fuyumi Shoko, not a canon character? XD Definitely, La Corda d'Oro has inspired many, whether it's to learn music or just to put everything you have into doing something. It's just... Pure awesome. =D Ahh, I suppose, that's a warning to only say godly things about Yunoki infront of his fans right? ^^;; Heh, his 2 different personalities are frankly the only things that makes me uncomfortable when I see him around... Oh, I would've loved to see your roleplays as Tsukimori Len. o3o How is Len like when you take him under your hands, and write him out? I've never roleplayed anyone, with such a low social status. Hi, hi~! ^-^ Welcome to BNB! I'm Kotoko, one of the admins and who will (eventually) be reviewing your application. We're thorough and maybe a bit strict, but we give lots of chances to fix things. Almost everyone has something we out to them but 99% of our applications get accepted in the end  Still, if you have any questions or anything, feel free to drop me (or any of the other staffers) a line! I'd be glad to help out.
I take it from that that you're in grade 10? And you must live in the general area that I do because ARCT is an RCM thing (I also went through the RCM for my piano exams ^^) To be honest, though, I don't see/hear a lot of difference between grade 10 and ARCT pieces. Even my friend who only went up to grade 9 piano plays all sorts of pieces, regardless of level, such as Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata. If you get up around grade 8 or 9, you can pretty much play anything as long as you put the effort in ^^ (not that you can't at a lower level...it's just that in terms of technical skill and experience, you've pretty much seen almost everything by grade 8 or 9)
*blinks* She's not? D: As the former Fuyuumi RPer, I'm rather shocked I'll see about the list and will probably add her in. She's definitely considered canon ^^EDIT: You were right, she wasn't there so I added her right in. Thanks for pointing it out
