Who: Otori Shun and Kurokawa Yuuko What: Shun breaks Yuuko's laptop and is forced to do her bidding for the rest of the day. Why: Because it's fun. XD --- "Onii-san! Finish your meal! Ah...wait, nevermind...," said Etsuu a few minutes after she placed breakfast on the table. Shun was droning off that morning, and his breakfast was almost cold. When Etsuu began to yell, he stuffed his omelette all in his mouth and forced it down with his orange juice. "That's unhealthy," Makoto cooly stated as he forked a sliced omelette piece. When the meal was placed into his mouth, the younger brother realized that his brother was gone. Etsuu sighed, and turned off the stove. "I can't believe Onii-san can be hyper that quickly in the morning..." "GOOD MORNING BIRDS!" Shun cheerfully called as he walked on the usual way to Seiso. Every morning, Shun would sleepily glide through the house until Etsuu's breakfast enters his body. Afterwards, he becomes back to his hyper, super self. His breakfast was like Popeye's spinach to him. A normal, calm walk quickly turned into a fast speedwalk, and it turned into a dash in a split second. "GOOD MORNING CAR, GOOD MORNING OLD LADY, GOOD MORNING DEAD DOG, GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!" Shun hysterically laughed as he passed the gates of Seiso. When he walked to the Music Department, he saw a familiar person playing with her laptop on a bench. He stopped dead on his tracks, and swiftly walked to the second-year music student. "Good morning, Yuuko-chan! Isn't today a great day?" Shun smiled, waving at the girl. Kurokawa Yuuko. Shun didn't remember when or how he met her, but they were pretty good friends. "Are you playing a game? I want to see!" |

Why Yuuko was on campus so early in the day was anyone's guess. Maybe she felt that a change in schedule was in order, that she was tired of keeping up the tradition of arriving to class at the last minute. Or maybe she simply woke up a little too early and rushed to school thinking she was already late; her bi-colored hair, more disheveled than usual today, certainly attested to that possibility. But even if her reason for arriving on campus at such an early time was unclear, there was one thing Yuuko was definitely certain of. The campus before school hours yielded no source of entertainment. Thank goodness she had decided to sneak her laptop on campus today. As she sat back on a wooden bench, the sleek black electronic notebook rested firmly across her thighs with its companion optical mouse on her bookbag to her right. Within ten minutes of booting up, her hands were already flying across the flat keyboard and shifting the mouse as today's turquoise blue eyes glued themselves to the game flashing across the digital screen. After a few moments, a familiar redhead danced into her peripheral vision. While it was first unclear who the approaching student was, hearing his cheerful greeting confirmed his identity. "Good morning, Yuuko-chan! Isn't today a great day?" "Ah, good morning Otori-senpai. Great day, sure," was her mechanical response; her right eye merely twitched once at the choice of honorific as she stared at the battle before her, left hand fingers rapidly tapping hotkeys while her right hand directed the mouse in one continuous movement. It took a moment or two before she finally answered his second question. "I am playing (yet another) online game. Highly addicting, in my opinion." The rise in her tone was rather noticeable, especially since discussing her contemporary addictions always lifted her mood. Once she deemed it safe to divert her attention, she shifted the laptop in her lap and tilted the screen back a little so the upperclassman could get a better view of the game's interface. "It's another save-the-world-type storyline, but the realistic art is rather alluring, as is the oriental music. There are just enough quests in here to hold interest and level with too and-" Yuuko immediately cut herself off with a short laugh. |

Shun cocked his eyebrow up, slightly smirking. Yes, it was another save-the-world-type storyline. This was, what, the 10th time Yuuko was playing that type of game when he asked? He should've known. "Oh really, Yuuko-chan? I say it's the storyline that's the best. Let me see that...," he sneered. Shun never exactly have seen what kind of games Yuuko played. He based them off of her descriptions. For all he knew, Yuuko could have secretly been playing some interactive romantic RPG game or something. Ha! That would've been a laugh. "I never got to see what kind of games you play, Yuuko-chan! Let me see!" Shun wiggled his fingers that were clandestinely approaching the wondrous game-filled laptop. When his fingers got a grasp of the technical device, he slightly tugged it, hoping that the recipent will allow the student to see their belonging. |

"Oh really, Yuuko-chan? I say it's the storyline that's the best. Let me see that..." At this, Yuuko grinned. After knowing him since her first year at Seiso, Shun certainly gave off the impression of being one who could enjoy games that honored the players as heroes. "It may be 'the best,' but I personally prefer RPGs that allow you to choose sides~" However, his request to try playing wasn't exactly a surprise. "Sure thing, Otori-senpai," she spoke in a cheerful manner as she playfully swatted his fingers away, "Let me just get my character to a safe area first..." Her voice lowered as she turned the laptop back towards her so that Shun couldn't see the screen. After a few more taps across the keyboard, Yuuko hit the final key with a satisfied air, happily explaining, "And there you go~" as she swung the laptop back around. And there, in the center of the screen, stood a scantily-clad--Designers really need to give female characters clothing that offered more coverage... like pants, for staters..., Yuuko always thought--wizard, the proud product of many hours of questing and grinding (and homework neglect), ready to carry out commands of a new player. |

Shun's eyes beamed gleefully as his kouhai's laptop was placed in the palm of his hands. He quietly squealed and sat next to the girl. Though Shun occasionally played video games, he wasn't really a fan of online MMORPG's. He preferred games from gaming consoles. But, he never actually gave the computer a shot. So, might as well try now than never, right? "So, do I just customize this guy..?" Shun questioningly asked as he moved the mouse around the choices. One of the choices for hair was a very interesting afro. Laughing, he changed the hair color to pink and clicked okay. After a few minutes of browsing and stifling his laughs, Shun's customized character was finished. It was quite intruging, especially the comb on the afro and the stunna glasses he was wearing. Taking one serious look at it, Shun couldn't hold it anymore and burst into laughter. "Oh my...! This is too funny!! Ahahahha!" Shun started to slam his hand on the keyboard. Suddenly, a weird sound screeched from the laptop's speakers and the screen turned blue. "Eh...? WHAT?!" Shun's eyes widened and stared deeply into the blue of the laptop. He started tapping quickly on the keys, hoping he could fix the strangely beeping laptop. "Yuuko-chan...! Th-this is not what it looks!!" he cried. "I'll fix it! Just give me time!" |

"So, do I just customize this guy..?" "Yep. Then when you're done, just fire up the game." Yuuko explained with a small laugh. It was easy to tell that Shun was enjoying the character creation process, but she was secretly looking forward to seeing how he would fare against the first boss that would come all too soon after the gameplay started. Yuuko was just about to take a look at what the new character looked like when Shun suddenly burst out in laughter and she heard a disgusting array of crunches under his hand. The following screech emitting from the speakers was probably loud enough to make her hair stand on end. But even with the obnoxious ringing in her ears and the blue glow coming from the screen, Yuuko wasn't sure of how to react in front of her upperclassman. After a long exasperated sigh, her voice took on an all-too-serious, deeper tone that failed to suppress her frustration. "Otori-senpai... what did you do?!" Without another word, both hands immediately lunged out towards her precious lifeline. |

"Otori-senpai... what did you do?!" A cold sweat trickled down Shun's face, terrified at what his fellow friend would have in store for him. As almost everyone who was close to Yuuko knew, she was very obsessed with her electronic devices. Destroying one of them was basically asking her to kill you. When Shun saw her hands reaching for the laptop, he screamed and slid away. He wasn't going to risk being touched by her. For all he knew, Yuuko could right hook him right then and there. "W-wait, Yuuko-chan! I-I can easily fix this! Just...," Shun paused, voice quivering,"just stay away from me for awhile...!" He let out a little kick and went to the other side of the bench. "Come on...come on...," Shun implored, clicking random keys on the laptop. Maybe it was just him, but it seemed as if the loud beeping was getting even more cacophonous. He took a quick glance at the girl next to him, and set his eyes back on the blue screen. He clicked everything. The Esc key, Ctrl + Alt + Delete, everything that would awaken the computer. He even tried holding on to the power button. That seemed futile as well. Shun robotically twisted his head. "Y-y-yuuko-chan...?" He stayed silent after that. |

Yuuko could feel the corner of her mouth twitch as she watched the fretful upperclassman try desperately to stop the noise. Even common ways to solve computer issues proved useless. And then it was clear: there was nothing Shun could do to remedy the situation. It would have been easy enough for Yuuko to suddenly slip behind the bench and put her senpai in a headlock (a move she picked up from Yuuma), but what could that possibly accomplish? Instead, she took a deep breathe and stood up before placing herself a couple of steps in front of Shun. She assumed a more business-like posture as opposed to her usual lazy slouch. Her left forearm stretched across her stomach, supporting the opposite elbow while she brought her right hand up to her chin. She appeared to be taking in the whole of the situation during those few moments of silence. "So, Otori-senpai... how do you plan to fix this mess~?" It seemed as though malice dripped with every word, despite the friendly grin on her face, and Yuuko made sure to sound like she wanted something, anything, in return for her precious laptop's suffering. |

Shun stared at the broken computer in dismay. He couldn't believe that he just destroyed his kouhai's laptop with just slamming his hand on the keyboard. All he did was slap it in amusement! Why did it have to break? Why?! Shun shifted his eyes to Yuuko, who was now standing, looking as if she didn't mind him breaking the laptop. "So, Otori-senpai... how do you plan to fix this mess~?" But her voice...it seemed as if she wanted him to compensate for the destroyed electronic. Shun continued to exchange looks from Yuuko to the laptop. He gulped, then whispered,"I'll do anything to make up to you, Yuuko-chan..." |
