Soo... Alex has been tinkering with the fourm's look at behaviour. Any suggestions on things you want added? I, for one, would like to see [sarcasam][/sarasam] do something. |

What would the sarcasm tag do? I might find a way to add custom BBcode (the stuff in square brackets), but I'm not sure what sarcastic comments look like, per se. Do people want a like feature? It's crossed my mind a couple times, but it seems so derivative of Facebook. I like the sound of this Michelle Award... Would it be given to Michelle, or would she give it out to others? Would there only be one award that goes from member to member, based on Michelle's whims? |

Actually, that'd be interesting... People with a certain number of posts (I dunno how many) would be given the ability to give out awards to other people as a whimsical kinda of thing. So if you made a super awesome post, you could get the Lexanimus, Michelle, and Lofty Awards or something. And after that person sees something else they want to award someone with, the award goes to someone else with a new reason tag. The person who previously held it could get a little brass button award or something, showing that they once had a particular award for a particular reason. That way, you could have the "Like" feature AND a system for giving out awards. |

Can we get an RP discussion board separate from the RP one itself. It makes finding things easier once more RPs get added. |

I'm digging the transferable award. Given to those who seem worthy. |

if people want to post *like* or *adore* I have no qualms with it, however a like-function is just so directly facebook related and as more than a reference (as in, an actual function) we might as well just be a facebook group instead of a separate forum. I like transferable awards, with names of frequent posters or particuarly brilliant posts. |

I agree with 'Trola. The point isn't the word, Xamad, but the way it is done. |

Star Awards When you reach a certain post threshold (I'm thinking 500 posts), send a PM to an active staff member (i.e. me) with "New Star Award" in the message title. You can include a link to a picture for me to use when creating the award graphic, otherwise I will just use part of your current avatar. For free online image hosting, I suggest imgur.com. Afterwards, anytime you see a post you want to award the author for, send a PM to the staff with "Give Star Award" in the message title. In the message body, be sure to include two things: 1) Username of recipient 2) Reason (1-2 sentences) If you want to give the award for a specific post, include a link to the post. You can get the link for a particular post by clicking the "Post #XX" link in the top-right of any post. In the page the link leads you to, copy the URL in the address bar at the top of your browser. Paste that URL in the message body. When you give your star award to another member, the previous recipient gets a star in place of your award graphic. Comments / suggestions?
