ok so I'm not the only one who thinks my sociology professor is weird...

According to her: The first one is a reaction and not an instinct. and instincts can not be over ridden therefore the last three are false. People commit suicide, you can choose not to be a parent, sex drive can be controlled as you can resist the urges.

I don't agree with her view because these thoughts are purely speculation with not researched scientific proof. And as my views are based off about the same amount of evidence it really doesn't matter right?

Could it be that we actually agree on something?
