Team Ebony Roger Federer Caroline Wozniaki Agnieszka Radwanska Nikolay Davydenko Paul-Henri Mathieu (temporary until Andy returns) Yaroslava Schvedova (effective starting with Rogers) Kaia Kanepi Michael Llodra Okay, Team, there are landmines and nefarious workings throughout. Stay focused; be intentional; execute to the hilt, and most of all KEEP FLOWING!!!!

TEAM MEETING Big Time Cheers for Michael and Roger; they battled well!!! Leaving the team permanently: Daniela had a bad break; she met Anastasia. She has decided to part ways with the team. Her services were greatly appreciated. Yaroslava Shvedova for the Rogers and USOpen tournaments pending approval of request posted, today. Leaving the team temporarily: Andy has not gained the physical and mental health that is need to carry him forward for this tournament. He will rejoin us for the Cincinnati and/or USOpen tournaments. Andy will be temporarily replaces with Paul Henri Mathieu (I know; I searched high and low. Then too, everybody deserves a chance) pending approval of request posted before the match. The team is extremely busy on Wednesday. There are some big match ups: Caroline - Bammer Agnieszka - Kleybonova Yaroslava - Ivanovic (does not count; still cheer her onward) Michael - Almagro Nikolay - Fognini Paul-Henri - Yu You know the deal. There is slithering all over the place. Watch your step! Stay focused!! Kick butt! MAINTAIN THE FLOW! Remember Who You Are!!! OKAY, GROUP HUG!

TEAM MEETING TWO Outstanding Team Ebony - Wednesday was a banner day!!!! Caroline, Agnieszka, Nikolay, and Michael strutted their stuff. Paul-Henri was not successful but put for a truly gallant effort, but Lu prove too solid to topple. Thank You for filling in for Andy. I also learned that Kaia did not make it out of the qualifying rounds; she will not be able to help us. This calls for double intensity for the remaining members of the team. No doubt, you can handle it; you have winning ways!!! You have the right stuff!!! You are super stars!!! Let's do it again on Thursday! The slithering is more intense than before. Watch your step! Stay focused!! Kick butt! Remember Who You Are!!! STAY IN THE FLOW!!! |

I did not want to mention it in the Team Meeting. The moment of pain has arrived; Michael and Roger are playing each other. It's a double-edged sword. Either way you win, but you also lose. Oh my...

TEAM MEETING THREE Oh my goodness! TEAM EBONY flowed; we just did not expect the Tsunami. Don't feel badly, Nikolay. Chardy was on the team for the FO2010 and was ditched in the first round. Every since, his game has upped. He is so upset about his expulsion from the team that he took it out on you. Michael, if you'd been able to duplicate the first 4 points for the duration of the match, there might has been a different outcome. Not to worry, Roger keeps us in the hunt. Agnieszka, that power was overwhelming; Maria is consistently on another plane in this tournament. In due time, your touch will trump some of that power. Caroline, I warned you about Marion and taking her for granted; thinking she can't move; not giving props to her ground strokes. Didn't I tell you the French Federation makes the same mistake with Marion and Aravane. Marion is tired of the disrespect, and she worked out some of her frustration on you. Also, I think you were thinking too much about your new clothing line. Stop pouting! I know it is not all your fault; those pesky marketing people, with their distracting ways, are banned from the team meeting. You are a dynamic team! You still have the right stuff!! You are still super stars!!! Chill for a minute. The slitherers are still out there. Prepare to ward off their venom in the next tournament. KEEP HAPPENING!! KEEP FLOWING!! Let us all focus on Roger, wishing him well and sending positive vibrations! He will need our intense support to counter this current wave of backlash. He does not get it.
